Air Canada Vacations changed my package arbitrarily to a cheaper package without refunding the price difference.The response time was days delayed
I booked an Air Canada Vacation on November 1, The first part of the flight is ACfrom Calgary to Edmonton on February 1,
In the morning of January 2, I got an email about the ITINERARYThe flight is still the same ACWhen I checked the Air Canada website, I was shocked to see two different flight in the system ACand ACfrom Calgary to EdmontonI called Air Canada and was noticed that the flight was booked by AirCanada Vacation's mistake, as ACwas cancelledAnd ACwould not connect to my next flight from Edmonton to TorontoI called Air Canada VacationA lady named *** answered the phone and told me that it is illegal to book a flight ACthat cannot connect to the next flightWithout my permission, Eva changed my flight to AC
When I checked the price of AC8160, I noticed that

Air Canada Vacations Customer Service dooes not apoear to believe it's customers account of their exoeriences.
In September 2015 we took an Air Canada Vacations package to London, England. We purchased flight, hotel an ground transportation between Heathrow and the hotel.
The hotel was the cheapest packge that was offered. The hotel was the [redacted] Hotel ([redacted]). I should have read the Trip advisor reviews before booking this hotel. When we got to our room there was no toilet paper, garbage from previous guests in the drawers of the dresser, no light other than a very dirty flouresent ceiling light, the bed pushed up against one wall, no headboard, no hot water, no free wi-fi as advertised, one clean towel per person but not every day, breakfast only a minimal continental and poor quality, hotel corridor fire safety doors propped open by wads of paper or fire extinguishers, curtains hanging off their hooks.
The prepaid transportation from the hotel to the airport on the day of leaving, did not turn up till one hour and five minutes after it was scheduled. The driver drove down the wrong side of a road past two police cars and was pulled over while we had to sit in the back under police scrutiny.
I filed all this information with Air Canada Vacation Customer Service.
Their response was that the transportation company said they were only 20 minues late and it was a routine traffic stop. Air Canada Vacations accepted that explanation over our account of whar really happened.
On the hotel, Air Canada Vacations appeared to say it was beyond their resonsibility, and that our concerns were noted and forwarded to the service orovider (fhe hotel).
Air Canada Vacations then gave us a $150 per person credit for a future trip.
I did not want a credit - I expected a refund of half the ground transportation fee, and at least an apology for the terrible hotel conditions.
