Thank you for expressing your concern
regarding the damages on the Alamo rental unitWhen the unit was returned by
someone other than the primary renter is was too dirty to do a full and
accurate inspectionWithin minutes the car was cleaned so a proper damage evaluation
could be done
and there was a significant amount of hail damage found on the
car We called the primary number on the
rental and the unauthorized driver stated the car was driven through some bad
weatherThe primary driver was then given the phone to state that there was
not any weather contradicting what we just heard from the person who returned
the vehicleThe claim was written within mins of the car being returned due
to hail damageWe have attempted multiple times to reach the customer only to
be able to leave a VMPlease do not hesitate to reach out to our office to
discuss this damage on the rental car

The car was not layered or covered completely in dirt anyone would have been able to see the damage when returnedHaving the car barely a week; am I to believe your company and employees are the incompetent? Yet with the claim written minutes after I didn't see these pictures until two months laterFirst contact I had with you the details were vagueDidn't even mention picturesThat was verbatim from the agent who spoke w moth me and sent off the email. As for the unauthorized driver, there was extra paid to have the gentleman you spoke to be authorized on the paperSo throughout this whole experience your details are vague, sketchy and since there is no accuracy in your detailsI did call August 18th to have the car and deal extendedIs that in your notes too, I have to wonder? Is it noted? I'm not even sure, highly doubt it is because your company is trying to cover up its error and carelessnessFor all I know this was someone else's rental, but I question it because we were told hail dents were the blameThis doesn't look like hail dents matter of fact wouldn't it be on the roof? So I state once more cause that would've been photographed also, this is not hail damageThis was damaged caused by your company after I returned it in good condition

The customer has been contacted and their inquiry resolved. Thank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Thank you!

My husband and I recently rented from this Enterprise office. A representative, [redacted], handled our reservations. Our rental was being paid for two ways, 4 days at our expense for rental reimbursement and 3 days for direct payment (RO #). Upon switching payment methods our bill was higher than originally quoted. We were not notified of any extra charges, taxes or otherwise, until finalization of the first segment. When I tried to contact the office about these charges, I was told that they could not release information to me because I was not on the rental contract. I notified them that I have a valid Power of Attorney that allows me to speak on behalf of my husband. Miss [redacted] specifically told me that my POA is not valid since my husband is stateside and it is not valid for rental purposes.I contacted the office once more to dispute charges and was told that I would receive a call back. This instance is regarding a day that was charged twice. No one followed up.The next day I called to discuss the double charge and I spoke with Miss [redacted]. I notified her of who I was and she instantly told me that "We have already had this discussion." She refused to handle the dispute. She said my husband would have to come in with the receipts (which they have access to I'm sure). I told her that I would be in with my POA. She told me my POA is not valid. (A POA is not going to specifically state for rental purposes, so it is valid). I have filed a complaint with Enterprise Corporate as well (Reference # [redacted]).My rental period was from 8/10-8/16. Reference #'s [redacted] and [redacted].8/14 is the DOS that was charged twice.A refund is due back in the amount of $40.48.

On Aug. 31st I rented a car to go from Jackson Intl Airport to Jacksonville Intl Airport. First of all it took two hours for me to pick up my rental car because the person that was working the booth left her work area. I called the Alamo corporate office twice that morning to ask them why there was not an employee on duty. Then the cashier would not let me use a debit card to pay for the transaction. She said after I got to Jacksonville, I could pay for it using my debit card. She said that I had to be getting on or off a plan to use my debit card. I asked her why that was and she said she didn't know. My aunt was with me so I asked her to put the rental car on her credit card. Now I'm glad that we used her credit card since they are adding fraudulent charges. When I dropped off my car, there was a man there that detailed the cars. I asked him how to turn in my rental car and get my payment swapped over to my debit card. He said that there was not a cashier working and I could just leave the keys in the car. After I returned the rental car it was stolen of Alamo's lot. Then an Alamo employee called my Aunt around 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. impersonating a police officer. I talked to [redacted] at the Alamo on Jacksonville Intl Airport. He didn't have a clue what was going on and said if I had returned the car he would have it. [redacted] offered to let me rent the car another day but I informed him that the car was returned on Aug. 31st at 9:30 p.m. I told [redacted] if he did not have the car, it was stolen. When I talked to the police they said the car had already been recovered and it was stolen from Alamo's lot. Three men who I do not know where arrested in the car. The police said they did not call us. They said when a car is stolen they call the company that rented the car and they would not have called people that rented it. Mr. [redacted] of the Jacksonville sheriff's department said if I had any trouble out of Alamo that I should sue them for harassment and impersonating a police officer. After Mr. [redacted] talked to [redacted] at the Jacksonville Airport, [redacted] called me back and was much nicer. He told me he was closing out my ticket for 9:30 p.m. on Aug 31st and the total would be $141.33. Now Alamo's has charged my aunt's credit card for $141.33 and $287.62. I spoke with the Alamo corporate office and they could not explain the charges. They said that there might have been a drop charge to return the car to Jackson, MS. My and I were not informed of a drop charge.

I had to rent a vehicle from Enterprise Car Rental for what I thought was supposed to be for 1 day while my vehicle was being repaired at a dealership. The sales lady ask me if I was interested in additional auto insurance ( she said 9 out of 10 people take this option ) so I said yes, but for 1 day only. I asked her if I had to keep the car longer do I have to call or stop in to let her know and she said no that after 1 day she would cancel the additional insurance. I had the car for 5 days and when I returned the vehicle she charged me $100.00 for the whole 5 days. I called them and all I got was the run-a-round. These people are nothing more than a pack of thieves. I want my money back! thank you.
