We just had a great experience with Albright Painting and Construction [redacted] (owner) went above and beyond to work around our vacation (and weather) including spending time personally working on our home (including weekends) to keep their scheduleWe had a big job including exterior painting of our home, screened porch, garage and roofline wood rot replacementNo details were missed including front porch rails and doors (they even refinished our garage door decorative hardware)We have had comments on how great our house looks and glad we chose them [redacted] and his crew were skilled and courteousWe have hired a lot of contractors and I can say that for the size of this job, there were no details missed and we would recommend them to others

I hired ***, owner of Albright Painting & Construction, to do some minor repairs to my home The prices were reasonable and the workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding So much so that I kept adding to the "to do" list, some of which was pretty complex...like replacing the threshold at my front door I also had some interior painting done, bathroom faucets replaced, toilet reworked, and my front door re-caulked and painted I am very pleased with the work that was done The owner, ***, was very personable and professionalI will definitely use his services again and would highly recommend the company

We hired Albright painting to paint the exterior of our year old home and deckI felt that the pricing was very competitive with the other quotes we receivedThey did require a 50% deposit for materials to get started which I wasn't crazy about but it turned out not to be an issueMr*** consulted with us to pick out the colors of our home and only used high quality *** paintWe did have some scheduling challenges because of weeks and weeks of rain, but Mr*** always answered his phone and did a good job of staying in constant communication with us about the scheduleOnce they did get on site, I felt the quality of the work was impeccableMr*** and his team were very detail oriented and went above and beyond to make sure our house turned out beautifulHe took the initiative to secure loose siding that had been improperly installed as well as re-mounting all the shutters on our home, which were falling off to make sure our house looked greatThey even washed all the windows and painted our mailbox and postWe had neighbors ask for their number once they saw how great our home turned outThat says it all in my mindWe are very satisfied with the end result and would use Albright painting again

I recently used [redacted], owner of Albright Painting and Construction, for a project in my [redacted] townhome. I needed him to hang a very heavy foyer mirror in exactly the right place I wanted it to go...and also hang a piece of art that had 3 equal panels and needed to be measured precisely and centered on a large wall. I found [redacted] to be very nice, with good manners. He hung my foyer mirror perfectly - and it was no easy feat because it was heavy. The three art panels that had to be next to each other on the wall were even trickier with lots of measuring and using his leveler tool. Everything looks perfect now. [redacted] even noticed one of my curtain rod was beginning to sag and he fixed it before the drape would have been walling off the wall soon, I'm sure. He has a good eye and a good sense of things that could use some fixing up, but there was no pressure to do those things, which was refreshing and unusual these days! I will use him again. He does painting and all kinds of construction-related jobs. I could tell that he had had many years of experience. He is a perfectionist - and that is getting rarer and rarer all the time. It was a pleasure to have him in my home for this job.

His team worked 18 hours the first day and another 9 the second day to accommodate the carpet cleaners and our strict move in date. Mr [redacted] knew more than any other painter I had come look at the house, from noticing nail pops and peeling drywall tape to bad drywall work. I had trust in him the first day I met him and his team and left the house key so he can get the job done on time and kept professional. Not once did I feel any sort of doubt that he would not abide by what his standards are, and they are very high. Even after I paid him in full he was on the job with his team touching up and cleaning. On 4/30/16, Mr. [redacted] of Albright Painting and Construction in Durham signed a contract with me in Raleigh to paint the interior of my rental house for $3750. That same day he required that I give him a check made payable to him (not his company) for 50% of the cost or $1875. He cashed it that day. He was to begin work 5/12/2016.

He delayed the start of the project until 5/19/16. The afternoon of the day before Mr. [redacted] was scheduled to begin work (5/18/16), he had his "supposed cousin" [redacted] from [redacted] call me to cancel our meeting the next day so he could begin the project. She stated he had a family emergency in [redacted] and was in flight there and would be gone for several weeks and could not do the work. She promised I would be receiving a certified check for the full amount of the refund - $1875 - by Monday, 5/23/16. Of course it was never received. Over and over again [redacted] promised me in text messages (copies of which I have) and the [redacted] that he would pay me in full. He did not and has not as of today 9/5/2016.

Mr. [redacted] should be prosecuted by the authorities. He takes advances without performing the work, which is a criminal act under NC Statute.

wow. Did a quality job putting together a trampoline for our son's birthday. Worked late, in the rain, to get it done on time. Awesome.
