I am rejecting this response because: I cannot verify if I made a typo on my original correspondence as they claim since, when I attempted to copy it before sending it to Revdex.com, I was unable to do thatIt was June 8. Whether their version of the story or mine, the date is a petty fact. The date really has nothing to do with the eventsIf I made a mistake, they continued it with the dates stated in their responseThe fact that someone else heard the aid fall and helped to look for it remains a fact, regardless of how McDonald sees events to back their version so they can accuse customers of being "confused." Our version differs from theirs, but McDonald refuses to accept anything as fact, except their version. They are not infallible. I've stated the facts as my husband related themHe is not demented or a liar and I resent the implication, as well as the defamation of my character in their last correspondenceI have not, as they claim, made "baseless allegations" - they are based on my husband's report of eventsThere is no reason for him to make up a storyI am especially concerned over the fact that they are now able to repair an aid the told me over the phone was not repairable because it was in three pieces and would cost approximately $to replaceMy main concern is the this has not been addressed in their correspondenceWhy not? It's apparent that the think little of their customers.I do not appreciate the inference that we are unable to conduct ourselves in an "agreeable manner." This is demeaning and baselessThese people do not even know usWe are both well-educated peopleMy husband has a PhD in Semiconductor Physics and I have a Master's in Mass CommunicationThe vitriol of their response says a lot about the attitude of this companyWe've been in the business world many years and have never encountered a situation like this company

Consumer was provided a free hearing test on 5/10/and completed lifestyle assessment forms indicating a need for hearing aidsShe purchased a pair of Enya RIE hearing aids for $3,591.00 that were delivered on 5/31/without incidentConsumer appeared for regular service and adjustment
from then through 8/2/Company records indicate Consumer kept an appointment on 7/26/but did not mention ANY complaints about the fit or function of her hearing aidsThe Revdex.com complaint was the first indication Consumer was not satisfied and has never requested a refund and return as she agreed to do in her signed purchase agreementBuyers are afforded days from the date of delivery to request a refundCompany records indicate Consumer did not request a refund prior to the date of the Revdex.com complaint - a period exceeding daysTherefore, Consumer has lost the right to request a return and refund (1) because she never requested a refund directly from the company, and (2) the request from the Revdex.com was made at least days after deliveryThe request for refund is denied

First, Customer's wife is again confusing the factsIt is she who claimed Customer came in on June 6th - look at the original complaintSecond, the Agreement to Purchase clearly shows a purchase price of $6,Third, the sale price is not a "share of cost" - it IS the sale price. Fourthly, the company offered a courtesy to Customer but his wife rejects itThere are many more mistakes of fact in Customer's wife's rejection, but it's evident she was not there to see or hear what happened on June 8th and it's obvious she is misstating the factsThe company does not desire to argue this further because this seems to go nowhere with Customer's wifeThe offer made to the Customer AS A COURTESY could be withdrawn right now as stated in the company responseThe offer still remains - the CUSTOMER must make an appointment to come in and sign the Repair Receipt as written before 6/30/The Customer and his wife must both conduct themselves in the office in an agreeable manner when doing so. The Customer must sign a Delivery Receipt for the aid if it can be repairedCustomer bought the aids in - OVER years agoMcDonald has done everything and more they are legally and professionally obligated to doIf Customer or his wife refuses this last courtesy, the offer is withdrawn upon that refusal

I have decided NOT to participate in Binding Arbitration to resolve my complaint with ID ***,I understand that because I have decided to not pursue arbitration that Revdex.com must close my complaintI have decide to pursue legally or via other avenues. Customer received a free hearing test on 10/16/revealing a moderate to severe bilateral hearing lossOn that same day Customer purchased a pair of ATOM hearing aids paying $3,though independent financing and $1,from her insuranceThe hearing aids were delivered 11/2/with
notation that the fit, volume, and calibration was goodOn 12/3/Customer appeared wanting to return her aids because of headaches and earaches. The dispenser explained that the buyer (Customer) is responsible to permit the seller (dispenser) to adjust or replace the hearing aids but Customer refusedThe dispenser did change the ear inserts which Customer said was much betterCustomer presented no medical evidence of headaches or earaches caused by the devicesThe office had no communication with Customer from 12/3/until Customer attempted to return the devices by mail on 12/15/but the office refused the shipmentBased on these facts, the return was rightfully refusedThe Customer is welcome to contact the office and schedule an appointment to receive continuing service on her aids but under current circumstances a return and refund is not forthcoming

I am rejecting this response because: The hearing aids became faulty after the period of adjustment, and when the third adjustment of the ear buds still did not solve the problem of not falling out, and the ear piece pulled off twice, the second time sticking in my ear to the point that I could not get it out and needed assistance to do so, I feel that the company is not providing the proper care. In addition to that, over the period of time that I have had them, they began to echo and became more a hindrance than an aid. I also know that I am not the only person in Chico to have experienced this dissatisfaction with the company and that person did receive a refund. This client had the hearing aids just about as long as I did

I am rejecting this response because: I would like to know the name of the vendor Mac Donald Hearing is using to get my personal information so I can have it removedI do not want to receive any mail From MacDonald I have a very small mailbox Their suggestion that I just recycle it is not a good solution I want to receive no more from themThis company is really not taking responsibility

Spoke with consumer, he mentioned that McDonald Hearing Aid refunded him $to his checking account, and will be sending him a check in the mail for the remaining $ Will ask complaint handler to close complaint as resolved, offered consumer to open complaint if he does not receive a

I am rejecting this response because: the fact that I have unmatched parts on my one remaining hearing aid shows that there have been problems It is not as the company said that I had no problems I know that I have had the hearing aids for over the warranty period My complaint is that my one remaining hearing aid is now unusable because I can not replace the one that was lost The hearing aid would not have been lost if it was properly attached The fact that Mr *** no longer works for you is convent for you He assured me that my hearing would not be obsolete before it was paid for and it obviously is obsolete or I could have bought another one to replace the lost one This company sells overpriced hearing aids that fall apart as soon as the warranty is up and I also think they take advantage of seniors

I am rejecting this response because: I was surprised she didn't check the hearing aid instead of looking in my ear and lying about seeing black in my earI also looked because she had it on camera I didn't see anything but a LITTLE waxI would like to have them investigatedI was there once when a gentleman walked in the door and *** made a remark like "What is Your problem?"She clearly does not want to deal with problemsThe other girl ,Catalina, was there both times but she most likely she would side with them for fear of her job she just startedI will take legal action if I have to and go public with these peoplerip offs

Thank you for looking into this problem for me, I'm sorry I don't have a computer or an email addressI should have known to send documentation to help with my complaintI've learned quite a bit since writing to the Revdex.comI asked *** *** (at McDonald hearing aid center) for the phone # of "*** *** ***"She looked in a cupboard got the enclosed brochure out and after getting on her computerShe wrote a phone # on the brochure and another on backWhen I called the 1st number, the next day, they answered "Health Plan"Thinking it wasn't the right number I called the 2nd number they also answered "Health Plan"Of course it was automated, and when they asked for my acctnumber I was really confused so I hung up but called back and stayed on until a person answeredI asked for a supervisor and after hearing my story she referred me to Consumer Relations (*** *** ***)I talk to Ms*** *** (ext***) and told her my storyShe referred me to Jenny White, a Consumer Relations Specialist (ext.***)Ms*** said she emailed all info to Ms*** I've left several voice mail messagesbut MsWhite has yet to get back to meMs*** has been helpful in many waysShe explained everything is electronic (no paper exchanges hands), so any address they had would be whatever they were toldAfter looking at the Health Plan brochure, I realized if I had received it in the beginning I wouldn't be having these problemsI would have known what numbers to ask forI will let you know if anything is resolved.Thank you,*** ** ***Paradise, CA
