cases, a vehicle purchased out of the state of Massachusetts must first be registered with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles prior to the owner of the vehicle driving the car into state, unless the owner is transferring MA License Plates to that vehicleThe transferred License Plates must conform to the following conditions: (a) come from a vehicle actively registered, (b) the ownership of the vehicles must be the same and (c) both vehicles conform to the same plate standardsWe were assured by the customer that the plates given to the dealership for the vehicle conformed to these conditions prior to our release of the vehicleOne again, the subject vehicle is registered with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles and this matter has been settledRobert JT** Legal Assistant General Counsel’s Office Atlantic Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

[Your Answer Here] I would like to make Mr. Robert T**, legal counsler for Atlantic dealership aware that on Jan [redacted] 2017, I had indeed left my license plates at the business with my registration and informed Richard L[redacted] that they had to be transferred to the new vehicle so I could insure it, he assured me that it would be taken care of, the following day he spoke with Brittany K[redacted] from customer service at [redacted] Company who explained what needed to be done and also sent Richard an email confirming what she had told him, she said he wanted to know if I made my payments on time which she thought was an odd question, none of his business, again he was told about the laws here in Mass. and still it took until I filed a complaint with you on Feb. [redacted] to get something done ( my goodness, it only took one day to get my registration after that )  I was never informed of anything you have said and again I was told by Richard Links partner that it would take at least two weeks to get this vehicle registered and I could drive this vehicle legally with the papers I had and my ins.company was misinformed that it was illegal to drive and nothing would happen if I had been stopped. And there are issues to address if you read the complaint Mr.T**, also was overcharged $350.plus finance charges for the registration, no I do not believe this is resolved as of yet.

Chrysler Corporate is indeed the party responsible for me having such a crummy car, yes. However, the dealership is responsible for putting me in sub par vehicles each time I am forced out of my own. The dealership is also responsible for having me have to wait upwards of a week for appointments to have my car repaired. I am not naive to the fact that this dealership is not the one causing the issues with the car, but I do know they are not doing everything in their power to satisfy their customer. And that aspect of my frustration is the caused by the dealer.

I have spoken to the customer today and he has stated that his Revdex.com Complaint with the Dealership has been completed. We could not find an applicable solution to complete this transaction and the customer purchased the same type of vehicle at a different dealership. Robert J. After reviewing the Customer’s complaint, we have concluded that Atlantic Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has done no wrong. This will be the Dealership final response in following with this complaint. The dealership has had the vehicle titled and registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the customer. Attached please find a form of the Certificate of Registration. Any fees for the registration and title charged to the customer have been used for the same. The dealership has fulfilled all of its obligations to the customer. The vehicle is registered within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Respectfully, Robert J. In following our response of November *, 2016, we would like to re-state that the Dealership, in accordance with the signed documentation, has paid the final lease payment for [redacted]’s previous lease. We would also like to note that [redacted] received Six Thousand Five Hundred ($6,500) dollars in rebates used on his current leased vehicle. This rebate was given to [redacted] by Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for lease loyalty and to cover any additional expenses (including overage on miles) for his previous lease. This will be the Dealerships final response in regards to this complaint.   The Dealership cannot take responsibility of the choice in which a customer makes. The Customer had chosen the 2015 Chrysler 200C after test driving the vehicle.   The Dealership has tried to take all the necessary steps to satisfy the customer’s issue with the 9 speed transmission however by the customer own admission his issues with the 9-speed transmission cannot be satisfied.   The Dealership has a various amount of “Courtesy Cars” for use by customers when their vehicles are being serviced. The Dealership can only loan cars to the customers which they have for that use.   Once again, we do not feel that we have done anything wrong. As stated by the consumer, the Dealership has performed the replacement of parts in regards to re-calls to the vehicle, has replaced the radio, and has also tried to fix the customer’s issues with the 9-speed transmission.

I HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE CUSTOMER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND WE SEEM TO BE PLAYING PHONE TAG . I DID GIVE HIM MY CELL NUMBER SO HE COULD CALL ME DIRECTLY , I WOULD LIKE TO IF POSSIBLE COME UP WITH A RESOLUTION TO THE SITUATION FOR HIM ASAP . PLEASE HAVE HIM CALL ME AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF IT . [Your Answer Here] I do not dispute the registration was completed ( Feb. ** )  after having the Revdex.com Intervene,  even though it took over two weeks of having the vehicle sit in my garage and not being able to drive it even though I was paying for it because of your incompetence and not caring enough because you already made the sale and nothing else mattered.  I was lied to from the very beginning from everyone I spoke with and it would have made a difference if I had known about the class action lawsuit filed against you by the District Attorneys Office of New York, whom I have also filed a complaint against you. I am still overcharged for the plate transfer and title and I would like to be reimbursed, again nothing explained, had to find it myself. Is it your practice to treat everyone this way or only senior citizens from out of state ? I also think you should be partly responsible for my first payment because of your negligence in taking so long to get my registration after my contacting you numerous times and getting different answers from everyone I spoke with and even though my insurance company gave specific instructions to you on Feb. 1 on what had to be done along with the time frame to be completed .
