I hired AIO moving in March 2019 to move my furniture from Albany, NY to New Port Richey, FL. Was given original quote of $1500. After packing, the quote went up to $3400 because I underestimated the amount of furniture to be moved. So, I had to pay $1700 instead of the $750 I expected to pay leaving a balance due on delivery of $1700. I was also required to pay a 10% "tip" for the driver and his helper, which I wasn't prepared to do. When given the original quote, it was never mentioned that a "customary tip" would be required.

3 days before delivery, I was advised that delivery would be made in an 18 wheeler and I informed them the property could only accommodate a 20' van. They delivered my furniture in an 18 wheeler and wanted an additional $450 to reload onto a smaller uhaul for delivery. I told them I didn't have an additional $450. They advised they would put in storage until I had the additional delivery fee. The driver called me an hour later telling me to expect delivery within the hour. For some reason the additional fee was waived. Three boxes were missing from delivery and I put in a claim for 2 in the amount of $500. I received a letter from Anthem Claim Management that my claim would not be honored noting that they could not confirm any loss during transit. Next time, if there should ever be a next time, hiring Pods would probably be a better choice.

I hired this moving company because I was going to be moving to MO, when I first started the process I was told it would be under $1500 to move my stuff. When they came they nearly doubled what I was quoted saying they always quote to low and it is always more money. I was told my storage fee was going to be $200 and then Pam raised the price to $230 without notifying me, I was then told my price would go down by a few hundred dollars when they would deliver my furniture because I did not move to MO but stayed in NH, Pam came back and said going to NH was not local for them so the price would remain the same at $2150 to deliver from NJ to NH, I asked how that could be where I wasn’t moving as far away and she said NH is not considered local as it is 4 hours away. I asked to set my delivery date for 11-27-19 and she said that was just a request but they would keep in contact with me to let me know. That was on 11-8-19 and I still haven’t heard from anyone, I have called Pam several times leaving voicemails every time and she nor anyone from this company has called me back. They are overcharging me for everything including charging me for moving materials that I purchased myself like mattress covers and packing materials. I am at my wits end and very scared that they will keep my stuff longer to get more money out of me, I don’t know what else to do and there’s not one single person there that is giving me any information. This moving company is scamming it’s customers out of money and customer satisfaction. I’m disgusted with their business practices and the fact they keep getting to treat people this way. It’s my own fault for not taking the time to do my research on them because if I had I would have seen all the complaints against them but they just lie to get your business and then turn and scam you every chance they can.

In response to this complaint, we make sure to inform all customers that the estimate given was inventory and volume based. On move day , once her goods were packed and loaded onto the truck, it was measured in front of her showing the voulme had increased, thus increasing the price. Regarding delivery, she was informed we do not gurantee a delivery date and will make sure to keep customer informe on the exact date 24 prior to delivery which we did. The customer had her goods stored with us for 6 months and was past due on the storage bill, we never charged a late fee as we shouldve and still held her goods in storage without payment until she finally caught up. We even gave a good faith discount of $250 upon delivery of her items which she appreciated , Therefore we feel we have solved the issue with this customer .

I was charged 3 times the price I was quoted. They were very rude during my move out. Horrible customer service. No responses. Sent 3 emails that have yet to be responded too. They will not allow me to retrieve any of my belonging out of my storage unit without paying a huge fee. Was told a supervisor would be calling me to discuss the invoice but no one has called.

Our local moving service is hourly based, this customers move took a total of 10 hours in which the customer initialed on the start and finish time on the paperwork. The services were rendered in full. Ms. belongings have been in our storage since June 2019. Apart from her $100 deposit , Ms. has not paid her move balance nor the storage fees. Recently, Ms. called our office informing that she wants to move long distance to FL. This means her moving costs will increase since she is now moving long distance instead of locally. In conclusion, We can not continue to hold her belongings in our storage without any type of payment.

Kim S extension *** gives the worst customer service ever. I called her to follow up on my move and I gave her my cell phone number 3 times. She said she could not find me? I have spoken to her 3 times within 2 weeks and then all the sudden she could not remember me and was calling me another name. She seems lost and confused and not detailed enough in searching for my number. I am in the system. After that, she was literally telling me not to text the dispatcher and I was told by the dispatcher that I could text her because she was unable to answer. The dispatcher was more organized providing me the credit card form to use and she was fast. However, my review is to Kim S at Ext ***. What a horrible service and tone of voice she uses and unprofessional she doesn’t have any business communication background. She just insulted me and answers back to me and tells me false information about text when she has no idea what the dispatcher has said to me. She also is not organized about follow ups. And she can’t pull me up in the system nor remember who I am? Please fire her and she should not work for this company because she upsets and is unprofessional with clients like me. The way she speaks is insulting and unprofessional. Get another job. You are not suitable for this job. Wow. After seeing he response below, you can obviously tell that this company does not have a good management and workers. I had the worst experience in all of the people I dealt with this company. Do not use this company it’s full off stress and overpaid cost and very bad service.

Dear Lorraine,
My understanding that you had good experience with the company in general and the only issue was with Kim ,Kim is in marketing dept. and not in Customer service therefore you had misunderstanding ,We also made sure that any call for customer service will be transferred directly and not to be handled by sales dept.
We are extremely sorry you needed to go trough that!

This is a review on a person working at the company and not in the department of service you needed
An un necessary one star review
We are apologize for this behavior and we will address it directly with

Worst moving experience ever!! A very small move (in terms of quantity of stuff) from PA to Louisiana. I hired them because they were several hundred dollars cheaper than any other company, but I’ve learned that you get what you pay for. They must have a total of 3 employees in the entire company, and they stop answering your phone calls once they’ve collected most of their money upon pick up. Delivery was delayed almost a week beyond expected date. Awful customer service. Would NEVER again use them or recommend them. Would give them zero stars if that low a rating were possible.

I was given an original quote of $1845.78 to move my belongings from New Hampshire to South Carolina. When the movers arrived to pick up the items, they charged me extra for tape and wrapping up the furniture, these things were supposed to be included, and all of the items were already boxed. Then when they arrived in South Carolina, they charged me for the footage from walking front he truck to the apartment, less than 100 ft and on the first floor. They just had to walk in. All of this resulted in extra charges of $1,068.22 for a total cost of $2914.00. In the process, the movers broke 2 furniture items, scratched multiple pieces of furniture, scratched/scuffed up walls, and put 2 huge, deep scratches int he floor. I ave attempted to contact the company 2 times vis email. The representative I worked with originally for the move said she would forward my email to the complaint department to start a resolution with the company. However, it has been almost a month, and I haven’t heard a word, or had any response to my second request. In my opinion, they swindled me out of $1000, and provided horrible customer service. Moving is stressful enough without a “reputable” company taking advantage of the situation. I would like some money refunded from the incorrect quote and over charges as well as money off for the damage that caused.

Thank you for taking the time in expressing your concerns with our company. We have carefully reviewed your complaint and want to state that on the day of the move, the movers packed and loaded the goods onto the truck showing the customer the total volume that her goods take up on our truck. The volume did exceed over what was estimated . You were informed of the volume increase and were given a revised estimate on the day of the move which you signed agreeing to . In regards to delivery , there are charges such as long carry or stairs that will be charged accordingly if needed. Our packing charges are not included in the estimate and were to be charged accordingly if needed, In this case only $60 worth of packing materials were used. Regarding any damage you claim to have, we have emailed over our claims form so you can file a clam .

Moving company destroyed our belongings gave us pennies on the dollar for damages $96 and the check bounced or bank charging us $12 for this

All In One Moving and Storage Response • Apr 10, 2019

The customer did not purchase additional insurance prior to the move meaning her move would automatically stand under our standard coverage at $1 per pound per article. The customer called us recently regarding the bounced check, we explained we had issue with the business account at the time, And a new check has already been sent with the $12 bounced check fee.

I had a great experience with All in One Moving. The moving consultant was sincere, helpful, patient and hard working. My conversations with her were much more productive and convincing than with other outfits with slick, pushy spokespeople. I enjoyed working with her. The move itself was very smooth. The movers arrived on time, were very professional and hard-working. They were fast but careful with my belongings. The move was much less painful than other moves I've done. The cost was reasonable. I will definitely use them again when I move again.

All in One Moving had a great professional crew. We have moved three teams in the last few years and have dealt with several moving companies. This is the best experience we have had. Everything was handled with care, disassembled and assembled properly, and put in its proper place. They communicated over the entire move, and we were able to get everything done on time and budget. I highly recommend this crew; we will be using them again in the future.

This moving company picked up my personal belongings in PA on 8/27/2018 and was contracted to deliver my boxes and furniture to CA on 9/10. It’s 9/27 and I still don not have my delivery. They do not. Answer calls and it’s impossible to get a hold of anyone. When someone does answer Pat or Kim they just argue and talk in circles. A man named mike answer the phone last week and said the driver would call me back in minutes. NO ONe has called or reached out.
This is highly fraudulent behaviors and this company should be shut down. Moving across the country is stressful and this business has made it much more stressful than needed!!

All In One Moving and Storage Response • Oct 22, 2018

In response to this matter , this customer has already received her belongings. The customer didn’t receive delivery on her requested date of 9/14 and that is because We stress the fact that for long distance moves, we do not guarantee delivery dates , and have a time frame for deliveries. Plus this information is all over our paperwork. The customer is mainly upset because we didn’t call her continuously to keep her informed about her delivery . Once she was informed it was on route, she was told she needs to wait for the driver to contact her, Our drivers give a 24 hour notice prior to delivery. Then she said if she doesn’t receive delivery by a certain date, she will be not keep quiet about this. We delivered her within our time frame, services were completed from start to finish, We did nothing wrong.

Hired them to do a cross country move from Hopatcong NJ to Flagstaff Az. I needed a few items packed by their service. When items were delivered( the packed items packed by their workers they were all broken. I filed a complaint online as advised by the manager and since have not been compensated for the broken items. Claim was filed on 8-29-18 and pictures were sent to office manager. I had emailed the office manager 9-17-18 aksing for a status with the claim and no response.
This has been the worst company to deal with on getting compensated for the items they had broken. The driver who delivered our stuff can vouch for the broken items.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
They are the absolute worst. Showed up 6 days late to pick up my stuff.
Double charged me for everything.
When I mentioned going with another company since they drastically changed my rate after loading half of the truck, they threatened to call the police.
Impossible to get in touch with.
Never followed through on any of their "promises."
Delivered our stuff several weeks late after we essentially lived like homeless people on the other side of the country.
Was promised a huge discount for all the inconvenience and lack of follow through- They offered a whopping $200 for my several weeks of mishaps.
Broke or damaged a lot of our stuff.
Driver of the truck cursed out my wife, then said "just kidding"
several of my big ticket items never arrived???

This company should be shut down. They are the absolute worst and I hope they go out of business.

I'm reaching out concerning the delivery date of order #***. Based on the previous conversation the shipment/items were set to be delivered to Manhattan, Kansas by 9/4 however, we were informed last week this will not be the case and that all items will be delivered this week, making the shipment later than originally expressed and agreed upon. While we understand delays happen, the lack of transparency and communication via email and phone has been frustrating and when presented with timeline questions customer service has actively avoided us as well as the questions.

Tell us why here...
We make sure to inform our customers as well as it states on Our paperwork that we do not guarantee delivery dates, and that for the west coast, delivery can range between 14-21 business days from the customers requested delivery date. Mr. has been ready for delivery as of 9/4, it is now 9/17 which is only 9 business days in. We are still within the time frame for delivery and have already informed Mr. that his shipment was to be loaded this past wekeend and he will be contacted soon from driver for his delivery.

My Daughter a recent graduate of *** recently received a job in Huntsville, Alabama at the space center. she was working for the state of Delaware through last week. She is relocating home and contacted the moving company for assistance with a bedroom set, dinette and 10 boxes of cloth's. This company solicited her business after she initially contacted them regarding her need for a moving company and to get an estimate. They gave her a price of roughly $1600.00 for the move prior to coming out to determine what the cost would actually be, by measuring her items. As a young adult the price was attractive to her and she entered a contract with them and made a deposit of $800.00. The day the company was scheduled to be at her place in Delaware to pick up her items they emailed her that they could not make it until the next day. This was an issue, because she had to be in Huntsville the next day, however her room mate was there and assisted with meeting the movers on the following day. When they arrived and loaded her items which was one queen size bed, a small dinette, 4 chairs and 10 boxes with clothing. The room mate was told that the cost to move these items would now be $2800.00. She contacted my daughter, who was shocked at this drastic increase from was quoted her. I have noticed on their web-site of countless complaints regarding the same issue. This company is basically taking advantage of citizen's through their deceiving practices. Records show where you provided them notice of various complaints regarding the same matter, yet they continue to use this tactic to lure customers in by quoting a price initially and increase it when they arrive. This is unfair to individuals needing assistance with moving from one location to another. I am requesting that you, please look into this company and have them use the same practice as other's where you go out prior to providing a quote and measure the items being moved.

In response to this complaint, the customer was provided with our basic estimate for a move to DE-AL. The day of the move as the movers packed and loaded the goods onto the truck, the shipment was measured in front of the customer. The measurement went slightly over the estimated volume by 119 cubic feet. When we were asked why, we had explained that apart from there being 2 bulky items and 12 additional items , once measured, the shipment as a whole took up a total volume of 426 cubic feet. In addition, the customer was provided a good faith discount.

After shopping around for quite a bit I decided to go with this company for my moving needs. It seemed like the logical choice based on price and how they determined price. I signed my contract and we were set. The day of the move the movers were to be there at 8am, they did not show up until almost noon. There were 2 of them to do a 4 bedroom house with 2 living rooms, a garage, etc... they did not ha e enough people for the job. After being at the house e0 mins, the foreman of the 2 told me he was going to have to charge me $2000 more to do the move than what was agreed on. He said large items still needed to be boxed (mattress covers, blankets, and tape for these were included in my original quote). He said my beach coolers, totes, etc all had to be boxed and not just stickered. Being a military family this is not our first move with a moving company and that has never been the case. He said the $2000 was going to cover the boxes and supplies to finish the job it was a flat rate fee so it didnt matter how much more space in the truck I took up or anything. I had no choice to sign as new contract as I had to be out if my house that day. They started working and not even 15 mins later the foreman had an emergency and left with the truck, never to come back again. A helper came to assist the other guy left there. They loaded all of my household items in a Penske 26 foot truck. I actually had to rent a uhaul trailer and took some items myself since everything wouldn't fit in the Penske truck. you charged me the $2000 for all these extra boxes but only used 2 additional boxes. I was and still have never been given the insurance forms to file the claim for the items that have been broke or are missing. Joe the owner who promised to solve the issue and he has never called me back since we spoke in July. They say my cubic feet used was over 2000 but a 26 Penske truck only holds 1700 so you cant add charges there like they are trying to do either.

Worst company ever !!! Unprofessional, took us going to the police to get a response on where and when our stuff will be delivered !!! They need to be shut down !!!

My entire experience with All In One has been chaotic and stressful. I was falsely promised a delivery date until my items were picked up and I paid my deposit and half of the bill. They then started telling me they could not tell me when my things would be delivered. One man even told me that "my guess was as good as his" as to when my things would arrive. The company had my items in their possession for 25 days. My calls were completely ignored by the company and I was hung up on several times. I even emailed and called the owner on multiple occassions who never once responded or returned any of my calls. I called almost daily and could not receive any sort of update on delivery and most of the time could not get a single person from any department to pick up the phone. When my things finally arrived, the driver was alone, unprofessional and late. After making me wait past the 2 hour window of delivery, I had to wait an additional 2 hours for someone to arrive to help him unload my things. Neither of the men were employed by All In One, yet they claim to not be a broker. It is unsettling that my things were handled by people who do not work for the company when I was assured that all drivers/workers are direct employees of the company. Several of my items were also damaged in the move. Additionally, the price quote I was given when I paid my deposit increased significantly (58% increase in price) by the time it was all said and done. I have been beyond frustrated with All In One throughout the entire process and would not ever recommend such an unprofessional company to anyone.

Besides providing a POOR moving experience, I am complaining because the company has NOT honored their settlement for damages with me. A claim for damages was initiated in January through a Third Party (MovingClaims.net). Ton of paperwork was submitted and the moving company (All In One Moving) agreed to pay a mere $64.00 in damages. It is now the end of June and I still have not received the money for damages.

Company was contacted for all inclusive moving from Malden, MA to Raleigh, NC. After spending over an hour on the phone reviewing what will be shipped a quote was made for approx 600 cubic feet. On day of delivery we were told it would be significantly over the estimate at a rate or $4.75. We would not be given the total until the end. The 2 people who came to move started throwing things into boxes and were careless in packing. We even helped to pack because they were reckless despite paying for all inclusive packing/moving. The movers also packed things that did not need to be packed (diaper genie full of dirty diapers) and packed things that we needed to keep (blankets and bedding) forcing us to get new ones. All said in done it ended up being 3x more than the original quote (~1500 cubic feet) and we’re essentially forced to pay he difference as our stuff was all loaded. I don’t understand how a company can make such a significant error in estimating furniture. the situation gets worse as the delivery was not smooth. Delivery team arrived on time after multiple calls to confirm delivery. The office never calls you back and you have to call them and chase them down. No customer service. When the furniture arrived all rue hardware for our girls cribs were/are missing, thus precluding us from assembling it. When we called the company they said they would call us back and we had to call back. They offered an unreasonable offer of 0.10 cents and if we didn’t like that then we could go to Home Depot to get new hardware. We have been calling every day for help and they do not pick up or call back. This company takes advantage or customers and are a scam. Please help. Call if needed.

The following issues resulted from the move: broken items, misconfigured items upon reassembly, erroneous charges that were not agreed upon. The broken items were partially a result of the unloading movers dropping approximately 6 boxes that were loaded on a dolly. I attempted to contact All In One Moving to resolve this peacefully via phone and email. The agent, Michael A, responded June 17th that he would speak to the office manager on the 18th. I waited four days and still have received no response. I did email again on the 16th to inform Michael of this complaint.
