I was over charged by 2 hours, the crew took an hour lunch (told me they stopped to get drinks) and charged me for it, charged me for crating when it was included in price, standing lamp is delivered crooked. FORCED me to pay or they keep my property and take it to their warehouse. The quote was 4.5 hours and was very close to the labor hours which was actually 4. I want a refund for the hour for lunch and all time that was not documented truthfully (I contacted the office to ask where the crew is and they never got back to me). The crew left 25 minutes before me and arrived 30 minutes after me. There is one route to take and I never saw them on the road because they stopped for lunch. The quote was $750 and I paid $982. I want a refund of $232.
No one at the business will call me back.

All in One Moving and Storage is not company you should business with. My husband and I hired them to move our family from *** to . We packed our son Playstation 4 he got for Christmas and they took it on their truck. The day after our moved my son realized that it was missing. I contacted Pamela several times and she told me to contact their claims department to file a compliant. After filling out a bunch of paper work and then have to wait to hear from them within 30-90 days they offered us $62 as a reimbursement. Pamela was so nasty when my husband and I called the office to speak to her for the amount. We asked her how is $62 to replace my sons playstation, at least offer half the full price wouldn't have been such an insult. Don't do business with these people, they are horrible and they have no remorse to their customers for their missing items.

We were quoted a price for a one way move and on site, the company ended up hitting us with all these other hidden things that inflated that price dramatically. It ended up costing us double the estimate even though we had followed all the guidelines and there were no surprises with furniture or box amounts when movers arrived on site.

I hired the moving company and they held my furniture overnight. I told them to get on road before 1pm on friday 7/7/17 due to traffic driving to south jersey. Anyway the contract price was an houly fee of $125.00 at seven hours loading the job on 7/6/17 was 3.5 hours. The truck got on the road Friday at 2:30p and finished unloading at 7:30 with time out to replace my mailbox that the driver knocked over and broke. There was also a travel time fee of $250.00. It was not my fault that they were stuck in traffic I did tell salesman and the driver on Thursday that they would have to leave early but they took another job and they arrived at my house approximately 5:30pm. The driver knocked over my mail box backing up as the laborers and myself were screaming to him, and pounding on the truck, My mailbox was not new but it was not falling over and was regulation height he attempted to fix it and it looked okay but a day or two later it started to lean over and I received notice from my Home Owners Assocation and the post office that it had to be replaced because it is not regulation height. Now I am a single woman who has to hire someone to replace the mailbox and I received 3 different quotes. Now I complained to the Moving Company and it took many phone calls for them to answer me and they do all their claims thru MovingClaims.net where no one answers the phone you have to email attach PDFs or mail all claims. Back in January Movingclaims.net offered me $60.00 which I said is unexceptable because as I stated before the lowest quote I received is $150.00

All In One Moving and Storage Response • Mar 27, 2018

In response to complaint ID, Our basic moving quote provided to Denise included 10 hours total of service where 2 of the hours were for traveling as the customer is responsible for paying the travel time back to the office upon completion of the job. The distance between the customers destination address and our office is 2 hours away. Although it did take the movers additional travel time due to traffic, Denise was not charged additional for travel time . In regards to damage to the mailbox, Denise did file a claim under our standard coverage which covers .60 cents per pound, Therefore the claim settlement offer was done accordingly as Denise did not purchase additional insurance.

I am rejecting this response because: The Mailbox was on my property and not on the truck as a piece for moving. My mailbox has to be replaced according to United States Post Office & Mystic Shores Association. To replace my mailbox it costs $150.00. Does the moving company want to install my mailbox because I cannot do it!!!

All in one movers are running a scam. We booked a moving date and agreed to terms with the company. The movers showed up at 10 am which was the latest of the window they gave us for their arrival which was between 8 and 10 am. The agreement was that we would pay for the time the movers got here to a minimum of 3 hours to a maximum of 9 hours. Upon arrival the guy in charge of the moving asked us to sign and informed us that we were paying 2 1/2 hours already for travel to our home. We were explicitly told that time would begin upon the movers arrival and start of work time. The Forman of the 4 man group told us that we had to pay from 7:30 am to the arrival time which was the latest of their arrival time window of 8-10am. We have emails from the company which states that time starts at arrival and begins when they start to work. We called the office and they told us yes we were correct that time would begin upon arrival she asked to speak to the Forman and then got back on the with us. At which point Kim ( all in one representative who scheduled this and sent us terms) who assured us that the driver would work with us on pricing. We hung up with Kim and spoke to the Forman who refused to not charge for 2 1/2 hours at 175$ per hour each way. This was not in the agreement we electronically signed. After the failed negotiations we called Kim again and informed her that the people in our house were refusing to abide to our agreed terms. We asked to speak to a supervisor at which time Kim refused to give us a name of a supervisor of the company. We asked for a name and number and she refused to give it to us. She asked to speak the the Forman who refused to speak to her again. When we told him that we were not paying for 5 hours of travel at 175$ per hour the Forman told us they were leaving and he left.

All In One moving will give you a low quote to get your business and on the day of the move fraudulently charge you for hours worked, number of men on the job and packing supplies. They also say that on the contract there is a minimum of three hours to be charge however when asked to show were on the contract it states this they can't find it.

I am rejecting this response because:They just added that note, please see my original that I have scanned, I also have the original email. When I asked Mike to show me this on the contract he could not find it. They are fraudulently making up documents now.

This company is the absolute worst. Jay, the in-take rep will listen and talk to you like a kind old Uncle, then under-sell you by half to get your business and provide a false sense of security. We moved twice with them within a span of 4 months. The first move, other than costing twice as much as the estimate, went fairly smoothly, but the second move 3 months later was a disaster. The quote the second time should have been more realistic - I can only assume they do nothing in good faith. 3/4 of the stuff we moved the first time was still packed in boxes or disassembled. The entire move should have cost less and taken less time. The three-man crew didn't have to take anything apart other than a dining table and a desk. They three guys were disorganized and unprepared. They brought a truck with a broken lift-gate so everything took longer and was hoisted on and off the truck causing scrapes and chips and tears. They had fewer things to move as my wife and I took a 17 foot truck load of boxes and odds and ends over to the new house ourselves, yet they claim everything couldn't fit on their truck and needed two trips. The first move took 6 hours and this one took nearly 11. They LOST my daughter's saxophone (which we didn't realize for two weeks), and we had to rent her a new one. They damaged furniture and scraped up a newly panted wall along the stairs. They refused to follow my wife on the 10 mile drive to the new house and took 45 minutes (we think they went off to get something to eat). By the time they got the last thing into the new house, they refused to reassemble the modular desk because it was now after 7:30pm and the lead mover said he, "didn't have another hour to waste" putting the desk back together. There was no time to review everything for damage or if it was lost before they took off. It ended up costing almost twice the estimate (again). I filed a claim with photos and exhibits with their 3rd party claim company and all they offered me in compensation for this clusterfk of a colossal waste of time and money was a paltry $72. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND CHEATS!!

I hired All in One Moving and Storage, Inc. to assist with my relocation needs from Union, New Jersey to Georgia. On the initial call Jae, was extremely nice and wanted to help with everything. Before the movers came to pick up, the deposit was 100.00 dollars, which I understood. Jae and I went over my inventory list and explained to me that the charge would be 1, 800. When the movers arrived to pick-up; they explained that yes my price would be 1,800 dollars, which was the flat fee. However the contract was extremely rushed and hidden fees begin to show up. For example, mattress covers, TV boxes, and mirror boxes. The cost for these boxes were ridiculously priced, for example, 25, 50 and even 75 dollars for each item. Once I discovered this I was angry. Following that, I learned that the inventory list that I supplied was not correct and that it was supposedly more boxes than I told Jae. However my boxes were labeled and counted. My partner and I taped and wrapped everything up, but the movers decided to wrap and tape everything over the work we had done and the price went from 1, 800 to 3,200. Moreover, the company explained to me that there would be 1 flight of stairs that would be free, however once the moving company arrived in Georgia, the movers said that it wasn't right and that I had more than 8 steps and they charged me an additional 75 dollars, which brought my final price to 3, 275.00. Had I known these misleading things I would have went with a trustworthy, honest and transparent company. Not only I am I taken back by all of this, I am upset that this company used a 3rd company to transport my items. This company nickeled and dimed me, and I am very upset with their service and contract issues. I would like to receive my initial deposit of $100.00; $75.00 for the stairs; $217.00 for the boxes, mirror boxes and mattress covers in addition to the fuel surcharge of $123.00; Therefore I am requesting a grand refund total of: $515.00 back.

I was quoted $1765.00 from All In One Movers to move my things from Webster, NY to Hutchinson MN. They gouged the price at pick up by $200, which I paid. THEN, after pick up at my parents' house, they called and said I owed ANOTHER $484.00 as it was over 100 cubic feet. They still have my things as they wiped out my finances. I had 30 days of "free" storage (as I assume they do this to everyone, gouge and we are stuck storing). I just need my things back for the over $1800 I paid already!

To Whom It May Concern:
This complaint is multifaceted against AIO Moving & Storage, the company we hired to move us to Florida from New Jersey.
We entered into a Binding Quote #427116 with this company after interviewing several moving companies.
Our agent was Joe Arias (Senior Relocation Specialist) who also moved furniture from my house to my son who lived in River Edge , N.J. for which we paid cash amounting to $450.00 which went quite well.
So we decided to use them for our Florida move on August 14th. The foreman did not show up that day so there were 3 guys, and Henry seemed to be the one in charge but seemed to be mentally out of focus and we were asked to give them half of the contract price with a debate that they wanted more money for the entire move as the sq footage was more. After much back and forth between Henry and the owner they accepted half of our contract of $2762.66 Our contract had a binding price of $5625.33 which included a stop in Arlington, Va to another son and was included in the price. He got
his delivery on August 18th and our delivery came on August 21st in a Penske rented van operated by Ozzie and a helper hired for the day. Now the main complaint is they called me on the phone the day of our delivery that the final payment had to be a certified check for $4500.00 more or they would put our goods in storage until we paid it.In other words actually holding our goods as hostage until we paid it. We had to run to the bank for the increase check to be issued at 3:pm. As to the square footage I told them our agent never measured anything and just looked at some of the goods to be
included at which time only half of the boxes were packed. The square footage was listed as 1395cf. with the weight listed as 9765 lbs.in the contract. We had insisted on a binding, flat rate in the contract which was not adhered to. Many of the goods were damaged , supposed to be numbered and were not. The entire move was extremely unprofessional, with many of our goods damaged or scratch.

All In One Moving and Storage Response

In response to complaint ID# *** was provided a quote that was binding based on 1395 cubic feet, We make sure to stress the fact that the quote is binding only based on the volume given, and that if the volume increases, the quote is no longer binding. On move day, The foreman provided a walkthrough before packing the goods and informed *** that based on the items they saw, their goods were to most likely take up more volume than what was quoted. Halfway through the loading process, *** was informed again about the space that’s being taken up on the truck. She told them to proceed. *** was kept informed about the space that was taken up on the truck which in fact her goods did fill the entire truck measuring 2000 cubic feet thus increasing the volume leading to the price increasing as well. All in one moving takes great pride in informing each customer about our policy in collecting partial payment on pickup as well as form of payment due upon delivery. In regards to any damage , *** has been sent our claims form via email to file a claim.

Customer Response

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: Joe, the manager never measured anything and I reinforced the binding , flat rate quote as we had a certain amount put aside for the move. There was no foreman there on move day and Henry told us he called in sick that day. They did not tell us there would be any more money involved until the entire truck was packed at 7:pm that evening. When he told me we owed more money . I told him to call the agent or his boss and Joe never answered his cell phone when I called him nor would the boss talk to me. Also , we would not accept paying any more money and they said okay sign the paper and left. Henry had been smoking cigarettes outside all day and was not focused. nor did he number any of the boxes as he was supposed to that day. We were never given the weight either after the move. On the day we were supposed to receive our goods ,the driver, Ozzie called at 3: pm to tell us he could not deliver our goods until we paid the extra money. He had a rental Penske truck half the size of the original van so we had to pay it . There was a quarter of the truck with someone elses goods and Ozzie told me Henry is a druggie. I have paper work that I can send you by mail as my printer is not connected yet upon your request. Everything in their response is a lie, therefore I am rejecting it.
