Dear Revdex.com, I would like to start by apologizing to Mr*** for any inconvenience this has caused and hope to bring this issue to a satisfactory close. Mr*** did contract All My Sons for moving Services in July and SeptemberThe reservation in July was cancelled several days in
advance and we agreed at that time to hold the deposit until his move dateHowever, on September 26, All My Sons did actually send the crew to Mr***'s home before being told he was not ready to move, which is why our representative declined to refund the deposit. However, in order to resolve this for Mr*** and provide quality customer service All My Sons will agree to refund the full requested amount of $250.00 Thank You

Subject: All My Sons Complaint #***This is *** ***.Regarding my complaint #*** with All My Sons Moving; I absolutely refuse to fill out any forms after being told onsite by the lead worker that he would file the damage report and make sure I was compensated for the damages they caused This obviously was never done When I called to see what progress had been done on my claim, I found it was never reported I have called both the local and national offices So, I can only conclude the crew leader was covering up the damages I am offended by the verbiage of the claim form that went so far as to warn me about fraud FRAUD!!!??? That was done by the All My Sons crew that damaged my property and was anything but professional!After reading the reviews of All My Sons both locally and nationally, it is obvious I most likely will not get compensation for the damages This is evidently how 'they roll' I also doubt the Revdex.com will be able to help So if that is the case, please let me know now so I can take actions BTW, I cannot access your site via a smart phone It will not take my email address I had to go back home and access your website vie my home computer.Thanks but this is looking like a lost cause

reasonable for my movers to load and unload in 3 hours plus the 1 hour travel charge to and from the job. However, also included in the labor time was the drive from Garden city to Kuna. We would like to apologize to Mrs. [redacted] for any misunderstanding about how AMS charges for moving services. In order to try and avoid billing challenges we go over charges extensively by phone and the movers go over payment and methods as the first part of the paperwork...

when they arrive. Mrs. [redacted] was quoted $112 per hour for labor plus 1 hr. set time for travel, as you can see by the attached signed paperwork. Though all paperwork was signed and agreed to, we were not made aware of Mrs. [redacted]'s expectation of a "total cost" of $112, which is less than our minimum charge, until after all services had been provided. Unfortunately All My Sons is unable to meet Mrs. [redacted]'s request of $462.56 refund.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  The $500 offered does not even cover the cost of the mirror they broke and their employees texted pictures of to their office (this was who they told me they were texting pictures to).  I was told by the movers at my home they would take care of it promptly.  When we didn't hear from the office, my husband called and was told they would get back to him.  They never did, so he then requested a claim form.  We are having to hire someone to even get to items in the garage to know what all was missing/broken due to everything just being tossed in.  There was never an inventory, boxes numbered, etc by the movers.  It is deceitful and frankly unbelievable that they would expect the owners to inspect everything 3 people are busy tossing into a garage for damage.  We were specifically told it would be significantly faster to unload given that we were not having the majority of items moved into the garage and not our home. In response to have a "small" trailer when they got there.  That is true.  We relied on their expertise (which was clearly a big mistake) to know what would be needed to move our belongings.  We rented the U-Haul at THEIR recommendation.
After our horrible and very costly experience, I went onto multiple websites only to discover our story told by other "victims" over and over again.  Our experience is clearly the norm and not the exception.
Frankly, two thousand dollars won't even begin to cover the cost of replacing the items damaged or missing that we are sure of at this point-so their claim that this dollar amount was not warranted or realistic basically true, my request for a refund should have been significantly higher  I was not aware of just how much damage and lost items there were at the time of my initial complaint.  Based on their response, it sounds as though they believe their fine print somehow eliminates their responsibility for most everything.
As far as the very vague quote written, it did not even begin to cover what we discussed.  When I asked about this, I was told "don't worry about that, the move will all be done as discussed".  Clearly I should not have taken their word for it, but what has life come to if at some point you can't take a person's word for something and require every little detail in writing?
While I will admit that I am not familiar with what it takes to be a member of the Revdex.com, I hope that the Revdex.com will look closely at this company's business practices.  Consumers like me turn to companies such as the Revdex.com to help guide us in choosing businesses to frequent.  Unfortunately, this one DOES NOT deserve to belong.

As you are aware, it is our practice to provide upfront and honest pricing accompanied by great service. We do apologize for not meeting Mrs. [redacted]'s Expectation, but would like to point out a few facts in regard to her complaint.
1) I have attached a copy of the...

estimate which clearly states that All My Sons would be providing 1 truck and 3 movers for the load, and 2 movers for the unload.
2) As Mrs. [redacted] pointed out in her complaint All My Sons initially recommended 2 trucks for her move while our estimator was onsite, as well as by email. However, when we arrived at Mrs. [redacted]'s home there was not a second truck but a small 5x5x8 trailer which would not even accommodate the 9ft. spoken of in Mrs. [redacted]'s complaint.
3) As you can see on the attached estimate the price for 1 truck and 2 men to travel to Ponderay was $2,925. As mentioned in the complaint we only charged an additional $1,000 for a second truck and driver which you can see is a considerable savings. This was most definitely a good faith effort on our part to make sure Mrs. [redacted]'s move was completed in a timely manner.
4) As it pertains to claims, we unloaded the vast majority of items into a garage which means those items were handled again after All my Sons delivered. Per the contract this negates any liability by All My Sons claims that were not noted at the time of delivery.
5) All My Sons only charges for material provided and used by All My Sons.
It is our belief that we went above and beyond to provide Mrs. [redacted] with additional services that were not originally included in the agreement at a price that did not even cover our cost to do so.
In light of the facts, the request for a $2,000 refund is not realistic. However, as a good faith effort to resolve the matter we would be willing to refund $500 with the attached release signed.

I contacted [redacted] on May 13th, I told them why the complaint and that I had numerous pieces of furniture that were scratched and damaged along with door frames.  They agreed to send out [redacted]s to look at it and fix it.  By 15 May I had not heard anything from All My Sons on the progress of this, so I called and found out that [redacted]  was out of town until 22 May, and no one else in the office could help.  I then called [redacted], they had received an email from All My Sons, and were going to contact me.  We set up an appointment for 18 May to have them look and fix the furniture.  After their review, they felt they had to talk to All My Sons and provide an estimate to fix all the furniture and door frames.  I have not heard anything from either company since.  I continue to be frustrated with their service and ability to resolve my issue.  I was also extremely offended by All My Sons asking me to sign a paper that stated I would retract my complaint and not tell anyone else, ever, about my problems with their company.    My furniture is still scratched and broken, and my door frames are marked and scraped.  Thank you!!!Kelley Knowles

These incompetent clowns operated so slowly, we had to keep reminding them that we were on a schedule that day --  the new owners of our old house were taking possession THE SAME DAY!!!!They took breaks, ordered in pizza, and one fool even laid down on the drive way of our new house do he could make SNOW ANGELS!!! -- and no, I AM NOT KIDDING!!!  ALL ON OUR TIME!!!  Again, I have witnesses.And, a crystal lamp shade has disappeared.  I can only guess what happened to that, but that is another matter...I either get compensation in a timely manner for the damage to my tool box and it's contents, or I will be filing a small claims report and/or will get my attorney involved.  I WILL NOT BE JERKED AROUND ANY MORE!!!!And, I will be filing an online review that will make THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS FOR ALL MY SONS LOOK INSIGNIFICANT BY COMPARISON!!!  Attached are photographs of the totaled top portion of the toolbox.  The bottom sections were not damaged as badly but the drawers no longer open as they did or should!Thank you for your time,

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: All My Sons have offered no resolution to even cover the cost of the broken/damaged items.  I am not surprised by their response as they do not run their business ethically or honestly.  Unfortunately, consumers will continue to be deceived by this business even though they are part of the Revdex.com.
Many consumers, such as myself, look at the Revdex.com prior to hiring companies for services such as moving.  It is very disappointing to have a company such as All My Sons Moving being represented as a reputable business by the Revdex.com.
