The customer contacted us and scheduled the move in January The customer informed us that they were moving from Springville to Lehi The agent who took the call noticed that the origin was outside our 30-mile radius service area and not only quoted our travel time to the customer
origin and back to our office after completion, but increased as evidenced by the notes on the call: "3@159, 2min, 2TT, 12%fuel" which shows that the customer was clearly quoted a crew size of at $159/hr, a 2-hour minimum, and hours of travel time as well as the 12% fuel charge We always quote travel and if it had been our standard hour, the notes would have said 1TT.On moving day the paperwork was signed off at the hours travel and 12% fuel It was only after the charges were collected and we informed them that the move would need to continue a second day that an issue came up about what they were quoted We agreed to finish the job on the following Monday and incurred an additional hours of labor and additional travel that we did without charge that normally would have cost an additional $*** that we gave the customer free of charge.All My Sons in good faith offers 1/hour refund (Actual estimated drive time to Springville from our office and from Lehi back to our office is closer to hours) We will also offer $** refund for the stretch wrap and tape charge for a total refund of $*** Combined with the $*** of free service, this comes to a total discount of $***

We communicated with the customers family and agreed on a $*** refund as settlement Customer accepted and is satisfied with the end result

All My Sons apologizes for not verifying the contents of the storage unit When asked about the contents in the unit, Mr*** indicated that there were "45-boxes and a set of tires" in the storage unit We planned the move accordingly When we picked up the items in the
storage unit we inventoried over boxes Mr*** also had knowledge that the price was changing prior to delivery and was given the opportunity to discuss other options than the extra $that were less expensive than sending a second dedicated truck He opted for the second dedicated truck and agreed to pay the additional $for simultaneous delivery of both trucks He was also told that this price was half the rate of taking a second truck We also noted that Mr*** filed the complaint but did not request a specific action on our part

We have been in contact with the shipper and offered to have the carpeting on the stairs cleaned She will get an estimate and we will approve and pay for the cleaning

We have refunded everything you paid us.  Sorry for your inconvenience.

According to our records, a claims package was mailed to [redacted] on 5/19/2016.  Our Customer Care Department never received a response.   There is normally a 180-day window to file a claim.  Please contact our Customer Care Department at 469-461-5000 to...

see if they can make an exception and send out a new claims package.

because: All My Sons refuses to address the full cost of their decision (on the day my move was scheduled) to refuse to move me.  Fortunately, Mountain States Moving/Atlas Movers was quick and professional in saving me from All My Sons' last-minute cancellation, but I cannot consider this matter resolved until All My Sons takes responsibility for the extra day off work they cost me.  All their communications to date have not even acknowledged that additional cost to me, much  less compensated me for the cost.

We did get there at 5:15 pm and got him moved out.  We apologize for the delay in service.

Please see the attached Bill of Lading authorization that was signed by the customer on 7/5/2016.  A copy of the bill of lading was also e-mailed to the customer on the same day.Paragraph C states that the carrier's liability for loss or damage is limited to $.60 per pound per article.We offer...

a $672 settlement which is double the liability limit that we are responsible for.  In addition the customer shipped more weight than was originally estimated, which is why we asked for but never received the additional $400 for additional weight, giving the customer a total credit of over $1,000.

$100 has been refunded to credit card ending with [redacted] as requested.

The customer hired us to load in Evanston, Wy, transport to Boise, ID and unload.  She did not hire us for any packing services.  When our crew arrived, she was not completely prepared and they needed to spend some time helping to finish packing and preparing boxes, clothing, artwork etc....

 We did not charge additional for these services.  They also were time consuming.  We did not finish loading until late Saturday.  The customer also stated that she would not have a key to the new apartment It is unreasonable to expect that the crew would arrive to unload same day in Boise, ID. The written estimate (attached) was for a total of 21 hours over 2 days without packing.  Our workers are limited in the number of hours they can be working and driving.  When they take an overnight break, they are required to take a 10 hour rest per DOT regulations before driving again.  Our dispatch clearly indicated that we would be leaving from our location in Salt Lake around 7:00 am Sunday morning.  The delivery was completed by Sunday evening as planned.We would be happy to pay for any lodging beyond the planned 2-day process.

We apologize for the inability to complete your move on 5/17.  We did not balk at refunding your $100 deposit.We already refunded the $100 deposit on 5/17.

Please understand that there needs to be contact made with our customer care department to process the claim.  This is not much different than filing a claim with your insurance company.  There needs to be contact made and forms filled out.  We apologize that the forms allegedly did not get to you, but please call us to make sure you receive the forms.  Please contact our Customer Care Department at 469-461-5000.
