filing the complaint, which included reviewing the details of the transaction, listening to all recorded telephone calls between the client and our Company, and reaching out directly to the person who filed the complaint.  After speaking with Mr. [redacted], he realized that he had mistakenly made a few claims in his Revdex.com complaint, including the claim regarding his items being overvalued by 400%, which is simply not true.  Mr. [redacted] indicated that he had not fully understood everything about the asset class that he had acquired, but after speaking with Mr. [redacted] at the U.S. Gold Bureau he now understood the benefits and drawbacks of each asset class.Mr. [redacted] of the U.S. Gold Bureau also informed Mr. [redacted] that he was within his return provisions for his order and we would simply provide him with a full refund if he would like.  Mr. [redacted] stated that he accidentally did not see on his paperwork that he could just return the order.  However, he told Mr. [redacted] that he wanted to keep the order and did not wish to return anything.In fact, after speaking with the client about this matter, he further stated that he was happy with our Company, he would be contacting the Revdex.com to ask if his complaint could be removed, and he would be sending an additional bank wire of $100,000.00 to acquire additional precious metals from our firm.As with any situation where a person is uncertain about their portfolio, we are very, very happy to spend as much time as the client requires to help educate them on their acquisitions or potential acquisitions.  We will always be upfront and forthcoming with the pros and cons of all the assets we offer to our clients.  Whether a person is looking to acquire $10.00 worth of precious metals, or $10 million, every client can expect to be treated fairly and honorably by our firm - we will always treat every client with respect and provide them with superb service. Mr. [redacted], we thank you for your business and we are happy to assist you at any time.

Hi, Ms. [redacted] –   I do not have enough information about the quote of $568.00 that you received from the other company to confirm anything about that offer.  However, I did receive good offers back today from the international diamond traders we worked with on your behalf to try to get you the best price.    The quote we received was for $6,293.80, which is more than 11 (eleven) times the amount quoted by the other company you referenced.  It seems that the company you received the quote from was not giving you the best price possible.    Again, keep in mind that the market for alternative assets is slow right now – so prices are depressed from their highs.  The prices can go up and down at any time, but sometimes stay the same for a while as well.   We’re sorry that it took a little while longer to get back to you with the BID prices from the diamond traders, but sometimes things can take a little longer when working internationally.  We’ll take a look at our process and see if there is any way to speed things up a bit in the future.   Please let us know if you’d like to proceed with selling your diamonds, or if you were just looking for a bona fide quote.   Best regards, The U.S. Gold Bureau Team

I am rejecting this response because:Business has not come to a compromise such as receiving a free silver eagle for my inconvenience. Unfortunately for USGB I will no longer do business with your company and have warned others not to do business with you. You tried to scam me in 2010 by selling me overpriced common date "RARE" not really rare pre 1933 9 gold coins for $15K worth $8000. Then went I tried to return the coins you came up with an undisclosed 10% restocking fee. Matt Ferris is a crook who owns this company.

We worked with eBay to ensure the process we followed was acceptable according to their platform and utilized acceptable procedures to disallow the orders affected by the pricing error.  We apologize that your order was part of that particular supply/pricing mishap, but we are unable to honor your original order submission.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I am rejecting this response because: The higher price you talked about was a quote by a jeweler was for insurance purposes only and [redacted] was aware of that information. When I decided to attempt to sell the diamonds to another company that was when I was told the diamonds were only worth $568 because of the size and difficulty in mounting them independently. I am well aware that the diamonds value depends on the market. It is very interesting that I was quoted a buy back price last year of $8000 which was only days after the diamonds were sent to me. Again, this is not a fair settlement by USGB and they are responding now only because of the complaint to the Revdex.com. These are not the practices of a company that professes to be above board and transparent as quoted to me by [redacted] and [redacted].
