Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/09/30) */ We have resolved this situation with [redacted] We have mailed her a money order for the damages in the amount she agreed to Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/09/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Miss [redacted] did set up a move with All Seasons for March 1, We do not offer flat rate moving, as it is illegal with the State of Illinois and the Illinois Commerce Commission There are no ads on the internet or our website that offer flat rates No one is ever given a flat rate, and neither was Miss [redacted] When scheduling the move, it was explained to her that she would require a man crew to complete her move She insisted on going with a man crew at a lower hourly rate When the men arrived on March 1st for the move, it was evident that she needed AT LEAST men to complete her job She was UNPREPARED to move She did not hire us for packing Packing would be additional charges However, she did not pack herself, and what she did pack was not packed properly To move, you require boxes For a few reasons is so you can stack them and carry them easilyReason would be to secure your items in a safe, shell for moving Miss [redacted] had her things thrown into shopping bags and garbage bags Shopping bags will not protect your items, nor will they keep the items inside the bag during transport Some of the bags, which were garbage bags, we put into wardrobe boxes so we could expedite the moving process The wardrobe boxes allowed us to carry more at one time and to stack the boxes, like a regular moving situationNone of her bags were marked We did not know the contents of any of them If items she did not want put together somehow got put together, it was purely by accident Upon completion of the move, and every move, the customer signs the paperwork and checks that all of their belongings are out of the truck This was done with Miss [redacted] There were no items left on the truck If she is missing items, they are not with us If the items were, in fact, damaged, they would not have been if she had packed her items properly We were hired to simply move her items from point A to point B She did not hire us to pack

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/06/08) */ The vehicle was repairedWe have receipts as well as before an after picturesShe does not have a police report, and she refuses to contact her insuranceAdditionally, we have a headlight for her car that she will not let us put onWe have tried to work with her on this issue, but she is not satisfied Please let us know if you will require the photos and receipts

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/02) */
The bike was in her yard at the location of the load upIt was taken by a stranger in that neighborhood while we were still loading the contents of her apartmentWe did not take the bike, it was missing before our truck even left the
location

Yes, the bill was for a crew of men men were needed to complete this job There is still not a flat rate for any amount of men The prices are set with the ICC and all jobs must be done at an hourly rate We have never offered a flat rate The website does not promote any flat rates, and the office workers do not set up moves at a flat rate An email was sent at the time of scheduling which clearly states an hourly rate and an estimate of the number of hours needed to perform the job The wardrobe boxes were used to combine a load smaller boxes, making it easier to move This is also less time consuming to carry large box instead of numerous trips of small boxes We do, in fact, have insurance The insurance covers cents per pound This was explained to Ms *** It is also written on the receipt she has that is signed

Hello,We have investigated the situation The mover in question has been let go from his duties here at All Seasons Movers We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you

*** *** called to schedule a moveWe discussed the loading of her roomates items into the truck She was told that she would be charged extra time for loading the truck She decided not to add that to her order for serviceShe stated that she just wanted to deal with her move
and her roommate would have to figure out her own move.On the day of the move, the men went to complete Ms ***'s move When the men finished loading her items into our truck, Ms *** and her roommate told them they had to load items into the roommate's rental truckThe men told her it was not on the order for service and she would have to call the office to inform us that they would be there longer to complete the load Ms *** chose not to call the office She thought (she stated this on the phone after the ordeal) she would have been charged for a second move Which was not the caseThe men told her the correct procedureCall the office to add an hour or so to your bill to do the load upInstead of calling the office, she decided to make a deal with the menThis is not procedure We do not know if this was actually chargedWe do not know what happened that dayShe has one story, the men have anotherThe men that were on her move have been dismissed from their positions here. It's unfortunate that she was not open and honest with the office when scheduling her moveIt is apparent that her roommate did not plan for her moveShe bribed the movers to load her truckShe offered them cash, on the side They should not have loaded it for her, but they were tempted with cash As a result, they lost their jobs.We have no definite answer as to how much money she actually paid themThe only thing we do know is that All Seasons Movers, as a company, did not complete a loading up of a truck for her roommate (who's name we still no not know)This roommate did not pay All Seasons any moneyThere is no receipt and no knowledge this even happenedShe made this side deal with movers, paid them cash (possibly), and now they have been firedAll Seasons gained no money from this eventWe have nothing to refund her, because the payment was not made to All Seasons Movers. The only bill/receipt that she has is for her original move from Skokie, IL to Hanover Park, IL This is the quote she received at the the time of schedulingIt is exact, to the pennyThis bill does not reflect any additional loading Nor does it have any additional charges on it.We apologize that the men were naive enough to accept her offer It's unfortunate that the decision cost them their jobsWe have no tolerance for this sort of behavior She had every opportunity to tell us what services she needed done We would have accomodated her in any wayHowever, she did not She tried to get a cheaper rate for an additional move Tell us why here

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:This business lacks integrityI never stated any of what they claim.their employees lied to them and said we tipped them each $and then some...why would they produce a receipt when they are stealing.this company does not stand behind their service and their employees, who act as agents for their business are thieves.the management lies and treats any issue from a defensive standpoint instead of a service stanceand I will continue to review you on every outletWord of mouth travels and you should at least have tried to handle this in a way that shows you care about your reputation and your customers' satisfactionIt did not even have to be about a refund but the automatic switch from professional to acusing your customer of lying shows your level of service and respect for them.Your company's customer service is a joke. The fact that you lie about your Revdex.com rating or at least the fact that you don't keep it up to date on your website and would rather lead your customer on with your advertising...again lying

I am rejecting this response because: I'm more dissappointed due to storiesI NEVER TOLD MOVERS TO REMOVE THEIR SHOES And, since they were standing doing nothing couple time, I told only once to one of the guy to bring the rest of boxes. Also, crew chief were swearing and saying he will leave my top furniture incorrectly which it will injure meSo, I told him with my high tone voice that, I will injure if you screw incorrectly I DID NOT YELLED FIRST. I am sending a evidenceYou could see since they didn't screw all the way top could fall into my bed This is seriousMaking up a story make me more dissappointed
Sincerely,

At this point, this is nothing more than harrassmentShe is attacking us on all forms of social media and the Revdex.com.*** had the option to add loading the truck and incorporate it into her move She declined and stated "I just want to schedule my move, my roommate will have to figures her out on her own"*** paid for her moveEnd of storyShe scheduled for a move from Skokie to Hanover Park, and that is what she gotWhatever else may or may not have happened doesn't concern usIf the loading was part of it, it would be on the billIt is notWhy would there be seperate payments for bill? This makes no senseIf you can give us a receipt stating that All Seasons loaded a rental truck for you and charged you money ($225.00), we will happily refund your moneyTell us why here

Hello,[redacted] was quoted 3 hours for her move from the information she provided at the time of booking.  Which all turned out to be incorrect information.  If she truly had a 1 bedroom apartment move with in hte city of Chicago, 3 hours would have been more than enough time.  However,...

the reality was, she was moving from Chicago to DesPlaines, IL.  Not only will you need to allot more time for driving to DesPlaines, IL, but the charges are different.  We let this go on the day of the move.  But the reality is, she already received and $85.00 discount that day.  In addition to the added drive time, she forced the men to remove their shoes everytime they entered her place with a new load.  This, too, is time consuming.  Also, her main issue, I think, as there were issues arising before the move even started, was the lamp.  This lamp was placed on something high, by her, and was not packed in anything.  Which leads me to, everything should be packed and ready to go for a move to cut down on timing charges.  I'm not sure why a glass lamp would just be out in the open and on top of something that was about 6 feet tall, but it was.  It was unprotected, and not packed.  No one even knew it was there until it came crashing down.  Which is negligence in her part.  As far as the men not doing what she told them to do.  Each crew has a crew chief and workers.  The workers listen to the crew chief.  He is in charge of his crew.  He makes sure the move goes smoothly.  When he tells his crew what to do, he is in charge and they do it.  When a customer is yelling at the men to, essentially, not follow company rules, it is never a good situation.  I understand she might have wanted to be fully in charge of their every move.  However, she cannot.  They have a sysytem of how a move is completed.  They move items in a specific  order to pack the truck accordingly.  Customers can not deligate which mover does what.  Honestly, the men work better without the added stress of overbearing customers telling them how to do their job.  I'm pretty sure this goes without saying for every profession.  In short, they were not "standing around, taking breaks".  They were confused.  They didn't know whether to touch something or not.  They were waiting for direction, but wer'nt sure who to get it from.  The whole order of the move was thrown into a whirlwind because [redacted] would simply not let them do thier jobs.  They are professional movers, they know what to do, just let them do it. We try our best to satify each and every customer.  However, sometimes this just ins't possible.  Each move comes with basic liabilty insurance.  The insurance covers 30 cents per article per pound.  I offered to file a claim for the lamp in [redacted]'s move.  She stated she did not want me to file the claim as it would not be worth it.  The claim can still be filed.  I would be more than happy to file it for her.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: the business's response is partially false. Again, my complaint is around how they are treating this situation and me as a customer. When I called and spoke to [redacted], she said that a loading service IS JUST HOURLY, she did not say that we would be charged bextra. This is what she told me and what I told my roommate, at which point I added a 3rd man to the move. The company has a 3 hour minimum, the men finish loading my truck in approximately 30 minutes.I DID NOT offer their employees money, I stated to them that I was being charged by the hour, at which point they decided to proposition my roommate separately.I also did not state on the call that I thought I would be charged a separate bill, I already knew that [redacted] said it was hourly, and she knew that we added the 3rd man to help load my roommate's truck. The fact that this company will lie and then not have the decency to take responsibility for their employee's actions is appalling. They continue to try to blame the customer for their employee's stealing money. And the fact that the response says that we "possibly" gave them cash is contrary to what their employees told them. The employees admitted that they were given money, except they stated it was a $50 each TIP, which is still a lie . We did not tip them $50 each as they stated. That is the deal they proposed to my room mate on the side.On the phone they continue to be hostile to both my room mate and I, they continued to try to leave the matter open ended instead of trying to provide at least some timeline or even a follow up communication.I would assume that an employee of a company represents that company while they are on the job, as such, All Seasons should be responsible for their employees actions, at the very least provide recourse to their customer. They are not even apologetic. The tone of the letter AGAIN as with all the responses they have given, is that the customer is at fault for being hustled. And while my room mate might have been naive to not follow up with the office, All Seasons Movers employees still defrauded her out of money. Their employees are agents of their business and as such the company should act like it.One of the employee's even had a red All Seasons Movers shirt on.Their customer service is top notch until the customer has an issue, and then it is an inconvenience to even give the customer a call back. I've never dealt with a 5 star business that treats their customer in such a way as this company does. This response is NOT acceptable and when I was on the phone with [redacted], she stated they would investigate. And when my room mate called to just state what happened to her, [redacted] was hostile and rude and even told my room mate to "sue" All Seasons and good luck with that. The company is not open to provide any recourse and not even apologetic, not acceptable.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2015/09/03) */
Hello,
After the move, she did contact the office about the table leaf. We then checked the truck and asked the movers if they had seen it. They told us they moved it with the rest of her belongings. I'm not sure what happened on her end...

after the move, but the table leaf was moved/delivered with the rest of her items. As for the refrigerator, she never mentioned anything about that to us. No damaged were reported about this item. She could have wrapped the item in the "shrink wrap" for an extra charge, but this wouldn't provide and padding, as it it simply plastic. There was no promise/mention of tarps. We do not own tarps as we have no need for them in the moving industry. There were also no lamps in the truck after the move.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 15, 2015/09/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They DID NOT deliver the leaf to my domicile. The lamp NEVER made it either. They are lying about the tarps. Almost everything was wrapped in those cloths and plastic which were billed as an additional charge. I called and spoke to a woman I believe and she assured me someone was coming out. Instead I received hang ups, vulgar responses and no answer to my attempts to resolve this issue. The man who took the table apart was confused and I'm POSITIVE he did not deliver it because the table is modern and the leaf was built into the table and would fold beneath it when installed. To this day I have no leaf or lamp. I'm sure he didn't have the capacity to put the leaf back together because I had to help him take it apart. Please make me whole in regards to leaf and lamp. I do not recommend this company to no one and I suggest you pay with a credit card. I tried to pay with a credit card but the movers said I couldn't because the system was down
I believe he lied to me so I couldn't dispute the charges in regards to my missing items.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The claims made by the responder are untrue. Firstly, I paid FOUR movers, as stated on my receipt, not three. Secondly, I spoke to [redacted] a week or two prior to actually scheduling the movers to ask about the ad online, which she confirmed. Regardless, that is not the issue. The issue is I paid for FOUR movers to move my belongings to a new residence. The only items that were in bags were clothing items. Other things were packed in boxes cover with lids (i.e. my pictures, hair extensions, trophies/awards, and important documents-death certificates, birth certificates, report cards, etc.). They went through boxes, taking those items out, and placed them in other boxes-causing things to be misplaced or damaged. Packing things that was not suppose to be packed, was not a mistake, but pure carelessness. For example, why would your movers pack up my food that I had placed by my coat (that I was wearing that day) in wardrobe boxes with other items? Why did your movers pack up my daughter's purse along with her wallet that contained ids and credit cards in a wardrobe box? I notified [redacted] about items missing  that week and she told me to go through all of my things thoroughly since things were “switched” around. Please note, on your receipt it says, “shipment was received in apparent good condition”.  Meaning not necessarily true, especially upon further investigation and going through my belongings. I never signed anything for the delivery, someone else signed acknowledging that you all delivered the items to the new residence. Also, when I called to make my complaint to [redacted] about damaged items, she notified me she will have a manager call me back. Because I did not receive a response from the company, I was left with no choice but to contact Revdex.com. Your receipt said they you all have insurance to cover the cost of damages. YOUR movers were responsible for damaging my items; especially since they ignored instructions from their group leader and myself not to go through ANY boxes that I had already packed into boxes. (The boxes were strong, not weak as [redacted] inquired, because they were received from the post office).
Sincerely,
[redacted]

All of the trucks are fully equipped with tools for each job.  The problem with the couch was the opening/door way was not at a good angle to move the couch.  It was stated that when the couch was originally moved in, the neighbors door was opened and that space was utilized.  Ms...

[redacted] and said neighbor were on the "outs"  and we could not use this area to make the couch fit.  We try our best to fit items through small spaces, but sometimes, it just isn't possible.  The actual total for the move was $390.  Which was the 5 hours she had stated plus the travel time.  Ms [redacted] has already been refunded $130 for the inconvenience.  We will not be able to refund the remainder, as we did complete her move for her.

The most important issue you need to know is that Renee Wilson NEVER PAID FOR HER MOVE. She has an outstanding balance of over $500. That is why the police were there and why her items were not being unloaded. Her move was a nightmare from the beginning. Her landlord was there telling us we "HAD...

TO GET HER OUT OF HIS BUILDING". Nothing was stolen, nothing was damaged.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/30) */
We have resolved this situation with [redacted]. We have mailed her a money order for the damages in the amount she agreed to.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/30) */

response from the business.)
Because there was no agreement. They said that they would pay for the damages but we never was in agreement with an amount. The Secretary would say one thing and [redacted] the manager would say something totally different. I asked several times to speak with the owner, but that never happened. This company treated me very bad and it should not have taken over a year to resolve these issues. No payment was ever received.
