San Diego Ca 92120 Subject:Revdex.com complaint [redacted]
In reference to the complaint filed on 11/1/2015 I have enclosed a signed completion certificate from Dr [redacted] dated 11/14/2015 confirming that the job was completed to her satisfaction, The current problem of water leaking in to the second floor of her home is not a window installation of product quality issue. The windows are a high quality product and were installed by a qualified installer with many years of experience. We have returned several times to try and help Dr [redacted] with the leaking 2" floor of her house. We ensured that the caulking that runs along the windows is unbroken, preventing a leak from the top of the window. What we have learned is Dr [redacted] had the roof replaced around the same time that the windows were replaced. Unfortunately, as you can see from the enclosed photos, the Drip Flashing has been installed incorrectly allowing water to pool under the composite shingles and drip down into the wall. We have brought this to their attention and offered to tarp over their roof to help stop the water from entering but they did not want us to do this. On Monday the 11" of January we are sending outa installer to recheck the caulking one more time and water check the windows with a hose. I do not think Dr [redacted]'s leak can be resolved until her newly and incorrectly installed roof is repaired.
Thank you,
[redacted]

[redacted]  11px;">Complaint 10 # [redacted] Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] ordered a door from us, manufactured by [redacted] Windows and Doors manufacturing company located at [redacted]
[redacted].
The factory's numbers are [redacted] and [redacted]. The number of the factory representative, [redacted], is [redacted] was the manufacturer of the door and the trainer of the factory installer. They and they alone are responsible for any wanantees and guarantees for their product. Mr. [redacted] makes a big deal about having someone do an additional measurement. This entrance system is self-contained, pre-hung, and pre-framed and can fit into any door opening 61 Y2 x 80, or 71 Y2 x 80. This entry system can be plugged into any standard opening. There is never a requirement for any additional measuting. All Seasons Showroom originally sold the [redacted] the door and used a factory- trained general contractor to install the door. After the first phone call from the [redacted] that something was wrong, although the factory said this was not the case, we replaced one of the panels at no cost to placate them. Since then, the factory service department has been out there more than once, and the factory representative [redacted] has visited the [redacted] more than once as well. It is not All Seasons responsibility, nor are we equipped personnel-wise, to provide any service. All factories have service centers, service technicians, and service representatives to ensure proper service to their customers. Somehow the [redacted] believe that All Seasons is responsible for providing service. We are a store only, not a service center. The foams, the caulking, and other fillers used during installation, has to be allowed to dry and harden up before anyone can step on the threshold. I am more inclined to trust the factory and their statements that there is nothing wrong with the door, other than perhaps requiring a simple service, which they are willing to do if the [redacted] allow it. It seems the [redacted] may be trying to take advantage of the factory by asking for much more money back than the cost of the doors originally. Product manufacturers never give refunds and the best the [redacted] could hope for would be a service call or replacement. We have provided the address and the numbers above along with the factory representative's name for them. All Seasons Showroom, which is a store, sells a vatiety of products. We rely on factory technicians and All Pro Installation • 25 Years Experience • CA License #[redacted] • [redacted] Showroom: [redacted]. Phone: [redacted]. Generally speaking, all manufactured products are guaranteed by the factory that makes them, not by the stores that sell them. We attempted to satisfy the [redacted] by making several trips out there, replacing one panel, and verifying that all other aspects of the self-contained entrance system (doors) were proper according to factory specifications. At this point in time, the solution to Mr. and Mrs. Kendrick's complaint is with the factory. They should contact [redacted] Windows and Doors have assured me that they and their service department will continue to do everything possible to satisfy some of the issues the customer brings up. However, from my observation, I think that the customer must rely on the factory's tolerances, procedures, and spacers, as the common part of installing a door. The factory will not give their money back, but they will continue to work on those issues that makes sense to them. Some of the issues put forth by the [redacted] don't make sense to the factory technicians nor [redacted]. In conclusion, All Seasons will not participate in any more efforts to satisfy the [redacted], because they seem to blame us for everything that they say is wrong with the doors. We sold it to them only. We did not manufacture it. We provided a factory warranty, and we provided a general contractor with factory training to install it. They seem to have mislaid total blame where it should not be laid. They should rely on the factory for further warranty services including replacement and reinstallation. Just two week ago I contacted all season windows and patio for and est.
Mr. Larry Hayes came out to the house and laid a plan out for us, after talking with my wife we,were ready to have Mr.Hayes go ahead with it.
One and half weeks later they call and set up the time to come out and install it. The crew came out and I was very surprised on two guys showed up with a truck full of patio covering material and told me they would have it up in one day,"well ok" I guess.
Let me tell you they did and outstanding job on this, well done and in a timely matter.
I would hire them again for any job that they do.
Thank You "All Season " FOR A JOB WELL DONE.
Your Price was very reasonable.

There were some unusual events that happened in the...

purchases and insulation of the windows at MR [redacted] and DR. [redacted]'S home. First the factory data entry person missed entered "1" window 9"bigger then it should have been. We had to re order the enlarged window of course. Two other windows were accidently broken during installation. This set us back scheduling wise a couple weeks, while the factory was remaking those windows. Normally we are able to complete most jobs regardless of number of windows, in one or two days. We completed the entire job recently to there satisfaction. We apologized for the delay of the job. I personally met with MR [redacted] and DR. [redacted], they ensured me that they were now completely satisfied,
Thank you,
[redacted]
