All Star Engine has invested in this engine more than the complainant has provided to ASE and we still haven't had any final decision in what the complainant wants to do,therefore ASE needs to know what the complainant decision will beOur only option is what was offer in our last response
This is in respond to Mrs.*** *** complaint regarding her vehicle that is being repaired here at All Star Engine.The turn around time for a rebuildable engine in which her case it was NOT and NOT BEING ADDITIONALLY CHARGE is to weeksASE AGREED WE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WEEKS
CAR RENTALAt this point her vehicle is having other issues that does not have anything to do with the work performed here.We also truly apologize that she feels a certain way in needing her money back when Major work and labor time has been performed in which we feel we cannot refund her money because of the extent of the amount of major repairs that have been done to her vehicle.Revdex.com thank you for giving us the opportunity to help resolve this matter with our customer and if there is anything we can do to resolve and make our business better we would appreciate knowledge of it!!
All star engine agreed with *** *** that we would work on her engine in her truck.We sent out for the truck with the tow company that we have a contract with that usually picks up all our vehicles but when our tow guy got to the location where the truck was sitting at he called us saying he was
not gonna be able to tow it to our facility due to the condition it was in The truck was all dismantled from the engine and all the front end and did not tow it for us due to the condition it was in , so we decided to hire a diffrent ow company that would tow the truck to us after we got the truck we started checking for parts and a lot of parts were missing but even at that point we made *** *** aware and decided to still work on the truck but warned her about the missing parts .At that point we went as far as we could with it and rebuilt and engine for her and when she came to look at the engine she decided she didn't want that engine that she wanted a total different one and said she would call us back with whatever her decision would be and months went by and she never made us aware of anything *** *** finally called and we convinced her that the engine we previously wanted to install was a real good rebuilt engine and finally agreed to install it .The lack of time was not only from our part it was also that she always claimed to be out and was never reachable to all starAll star finally finished the truck and *** *** was told about other issues due to missing parts that did not have to do with the engine and didn't want to pay any extra for other parts so we gave her time to come in and se what parts were missing and what all the problem was with her vehicleBut All star engine is now proposing for her to come or call and decide what she wants to do with her vehicle because its been numerous times that *** *** changes her mind and all star really doesn't want to work on this vehicle without final decision.right now we got complete rebuilt long block ready to install
This Is in response to the complaint against All Star Engine , Alliance roofing contacted us needing an Engine for there ford f-first of all the agreement was that we would rebuild the same engine from top to bottom which would be a complete rebuiltSecond of all we don't and never have
carried an engine costing 21,Yes our engine rebuilts usually take aproximately 2-weeks to complete and we have taken longer than usual due to an electrical problem that did not have anything to do with the engine we rebuilt so therefore Mr*** was lended a loaner company truck from All Star Engine so ASE can have more time to fix the issue.On 7/27/ASE received a call from the owner of alliance roofing stating not to release the vehicle to Mr*** for business issues that Mr.*** is having with alliance roofingBefore 7/27/we have tried to contact Mr*** to inform him his truck is ready to go but there has been no response or call back, Therefore All Star Engine is also worried of the loaner truck he has in his possession due to the owner of the company making harsh accusations towards himSo YES ASE would really like to resolve this matter as soon as possible as well.Thank you
dear mr *** ***, were sorry about the delays in time we might have had your vehicle.But to our defense a lot of the problems you came to us with were not due to our neglegience or lack of knowledge to fix your vehicle properly.First your dash was ripped apart , second the acciedent the
mechanic had with your shifter was fixed with new oem parts we have reciets, Third we do not scratch vehicles and have adequate space for parking at our facility we did not do this damage to your vehicle.We at all star engines find it funny that your vehicle starts to have problems towards the end of you warrenty, question was the vehicle loosing oil pressure when you first took it back after the work was done, if so why wait a whole year to bring it back ?
Mr. [redacted] Brought his vehicle in for a complete engine repair. Before we can initiate any Service we require an initial deposit that in his case was $1500.00 in which it was done months later after towing car in our shop. Mr. [redacted] brought vehicle in as it was with broken latch and damaged hood...
which made it difficult for our technicians to work around it , vehicle also looked as if it had been sitting for a long period of time before vehicle got towed to our shop. Mr. [redacted] actually left vehicle at our shop for months before deposit was made, finally Mr. [redacted] made a deposit so we initiated the engine repair once completed he was contacted numerous times but again also left the vehicle here in our possesion for more than 6 months after completion. We are not responsible for any previous damage vehicle might have had.
We truly do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused Mr. [redacted] , but it is our responsibility to try and fix any issue he may have with his vehicle, as far as being said that we never worked on the vehicle that is just a statement Mr. [redacted] is assuming because All Star has invoices where parts were bought for that vehicle and also payed the CERTIFIED techinician in which we cannot give him full refund due to the fact that money has been put in and we truly do understand that it may still be having problems but that's why the only option we can offer him would be for him to bring it back to us and we can set a date that his vehicle will be done and also fix the issues with the engine, also never did anyone in All Star mention anything to him about not having the right technician to work on those type of vehicles ,what we did have a problem with was that in the time period his car was here the technician working on his vehicle was in a motorcycle accident and unfortunately passed away,but for discretion of our shop and his family we never mentioned this to Mr.[redacted] and for that reason we didn't finish his vehicle in due time. Again he does have a 2 year warranty with all star engine and is welcome to bring his car at NO COST to him anytime.

I am rejecting this response because: the mechanic shop has failed to communicate with me I have to physically go by there to get any updates on my vehicle. I understand there is alot of work being done on my vehicle I just want to be notified when changes occur rather than my phone calls being ignored or being told my vehicle will be ready that day oe the next day at the latest. Per their website they never complete any work with notifying the customer 1st!!!

Mr. [redacted] brought his 2007 Cadillac Cts to get his Engine rebuilt . After we completed the Engine Mr. [redacted] took the vehicle to Cavender Cadillac in which he got a complete diagnostic done on the vehicle and the diagnostic came back stating that a new timing chain and csatlasytic...
converter needed to be replaced and also the following codes as well [redacted] were diagnosed so we asked Mr. [redacted] to bring the car back under warranty and so he did and we replaced onced again the timing chain which was already new in the first place and we also took care of the codes ,after Mr. [redacted] picked the vehicle up the second time he was still not satisfied with the performance of the vehicle so we asked him to bring it back so we could recheck and take care of whatever issue it may have but Mr. [redacted] refused and Practically said he was done and didn't want us to no longer work on the vehicle.Mr. [redacted] still has 2 year warranty on the engine we would really like the opportunity to fix any issue he may have .

I am rejecting this response because: My truck is in Snowmass [redacted] Springs with a blown engine that was supposedly rebuilt three years ago at the shop in [redacted] and has had less the 30K driven on it. I believe that the engine had a substandard, as I have had issues with oil leaks (valve covers, oil pan, and rear main seal). I also do not believe that the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump were truly replaced as they should not have failed within 30K miles. I feel that people have the right to know about poor quality work before taking their cars to this shop. I am not going to try and transport my truck 1000 miles to have another engine liability installed. I don't think that I would recommend their work to anyone, despite the fact that [redacted] is a nice guy.

Its been a year now since I got my engine replaced by them on my Quad Dodge Ram 1500. I must tell you that it still drives like a dream. I highly recommend anyone looking to replace their engine or get it repaired to go here.... Their prices are much better than most as I always get 3 quotes from other shops. They guarantee their work without any exceptions. These guys know engines. That's their specialty. I am very satisfied after a little over a year and after many new miles on it, my truck still runs super! After they install the engine they fully test drive them to make sure everything is running in excellent condition. I couldn't be more than satisfied and I have already recommended them to all my friends and family. Alex is the nicest person to deal with and his team will leave your vehicle running like new...... I say don't think about it and just give them a call. I honestly recommend them all the way!
Replacing my old engine with a new one from All Star Engine Installation Center was the best decision I made. They did a professional job and my car works very well now.
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because [redacted] failed to specify details in his response in regards to my previous request. Which include the following: updating our contract with a specified timeframe on when vehicle will be properly fixed without having to constantly return it every time he claims the work is done, the job must be completed by a professional and/or certified mechanic who has experience working on a 2007 Cadillac CTS.If this shop can actually complete the job without a problem then there shouldnt be issues updating our contract to move forward and avoid wasting unnecessary time. I would really appreciate for [redacted] to respond promptly and professionally to my request .Your next respond should provide details to what our next legal steps should be. Regards,[redacted]

All Star replaced the engine in my Ford Explorer, but it never worked right. So, seeing how it came with a two year warranty, we took it back to get the kinks worked out. We never a saw our vehicle again. All Star claimed it was stolen - after their mechanic left it stranded on the side of the road. Took him to court - won - he appealed - back to court - won again. But he still has not paid us what the court ordered - ordered in May, it's now December. I guess it's back to court for us.
All Star worked on our 2001 Saturn at least 5 years ago (rebuilt the engine) and my Saturn is still going strong.

I am rejecting this response because: The events didn't happen as described above. Many of the statements made by them are false. The first engine was never overheated and was actually found later to have had a plugged catalytic converter. I was told by [redacted] that they had found a used engine, but that it would be cheaper for him, to rebuild my engine. So that's why I opted for the rebuild. Right after, I got it back from him, I told him the clutch felt the same as when I took it into him. I was assured that it was a brand new clutch. This engine stopped working approximately three weeks after we picked it up from him
The second engine was always a piece of crap. The engine check light stayed on constantly and they didn't tighten down the battery properly, which arced on the hood and melted a whole through the hood. They never repaired the hole like they promised. The engine, from the beginning, was going through a quart of oil a week. I took it back several times and each time [redacted] would say it was all fixed. I would take it home and after a week, it would be low another quart of oil. He told me that he was going to rebuild the motor again. I see now that he never did the third rebuild according to his own statement above.
The supposed third engine had the same oil leak problem and the clutch went out completely. They say the engine is fixed, but it isn't. It still has the same oil leak problem. The car has been sitting at his shop for a year and every time I go in to ask him when it's going to be fixed, he says he is going to get it right in, and nothing happens. Now he's saying I need to take it someplace else and I will be happy to when he reimburses me for a job that was never done properly. I paid him for a rebuilt engine and a new clutch. Rebuilt engines don't go through a quart of oil a week. I realize he had a body man come in to install the engine but, that should have nothing to do with the performance of the engine. I also repaired a loaner truck of his for no charge. I replaced the water pump, idler pulley, and serpentine belt. This should make us even for the body man.
