I used Buckhead Movers in May, to move my homeThe sales person and the moving crew did an excellent job of exceeding my expectationsHowever, during the course of the move, I had pieces of furniture damagedBoth items were noted by the moving crew and reported to the companyI filed a claim for $on 6/5/To date, all the company has given me is stall tactics with promises to handleAfter waiting days for a resolution, I filed a claim with [redacted] for the amount owedNow, their excuse is that I voided my claim by going to [redacted] for resolution and repairing the furniture myselfI have not repaired the furnitureThe company is just stalling over what I feel is a small amount of moneyThey have turned a great experience into a nightmare for no good reason

To whom it may concern, Hi my name is John, I am the store manager at ALL TUNE AND LUBE- On 5/20/ [redacted] came in for an oil change in his vehicleUpon completion of the oil change I billed [redacted] outAfter leaving the premises [redacted] calls the shop and informs me that his radio had stopped working, and the radio was working fine prior to the oil change serviceI told [redacted] that it was likely something wrong with the radio, [redacted] insisted that we sabotaged his radio and he was in route to have somebody at our shop fix it, and hung upThe customer came back to the shop at 5:50pm and demanded that we fixed his radioI again informed him that we only changed the oil on the vehicle and the mechanic would have had no reason to go near the radioBeing that it was 5:55pm by that time and my mechanics were already out the door for the day I suggested to [redacted] to come back tomorrow, even though I already knew it was nothing we did but insisted that I would he willing to look at It the next day [redacted] , being upset, insisted that he was not leaving until his radio was fixedTried to tell him that mechanics had left for The day and there was nothing I could do for him that nightHe proceeded to insist on staying until the radio was fixedI gave him the phone number to our corporate office so he could call and file a complaint, it made him more upset when he called the corporate number and realized they were closed alreadyBy this time it is well after 6:00pm {the time the shop closes) I again stressed the fact that there was nothing I could do for him and if he wanted ta return the following day I would inspect his radio, but it is after the time when I am supposed to arm the alarm and leave for the dayI started to run my end of day procedures and [redacted] proceeded to stand in front and block the front doorAfter asking [redacted] several times to please return the following day and nothing was coming of it, I got the impression that he was not going to let me leaveI called [redacted] county police department and informed them that I had a customer that was holding me hostageThey dispatched an officer, and I informed the customer that the police were in routeAfter I informed the customer that the police were in route he vacated the premises .The following day [redacted] returned and said that his oil on his vehicle was never changedWithout question I had a technician pull the vehicle back into the shop and change the oil againUpon completion of the oil change I also had the technician inspect The radio in order to see there was anything that could have possibly caused the radio not to workThe technician did not find anything.JOHN HSERVICE MANAGER ALL TUNE & LUBE

On 8/20/wife braught her ford explorer to all tune because check engine soon light was onWas told it needed a tune up for $so she had work doneOn 8/10/returned with car check engine soon light Watson againThis time was told it needed EGR assembly that cost $About a week after this work was done the same light came on againSo after spending $she still has the same issue .when she returned for the third time for the same issue she was asked if the car was runining OK and that was the end of the issueNo further attempt was made to resolve the the problem

Very unhappy with my dealings with themI moved 9/1/using buckhead movers who also do business as bulldog moversDuring the move several items of furniture were scratched and dented, my floors were scratched in some rooms, and my uppa baby stroller (900$ baby stroller) was brokenI wasn't too concerned as I paid extra for insurance to protect my belongings After several failed attempts to get in touch with people in claims, I had to send a little more stern emails about getting my items fixed or replaced and finally they told me that they are not going to cover them because my stroller should've been in a stroller bag to be appropriately movedNo where on the contract does it say that, although it does mention that TVs and beds need to be properly packed to be insuredAs far as the TVs and bed go, the movers informed me that they could only be covered if I pay extra for their boxes and their bed bags which I happily paidNobody mentioned anything about strollers or any other item in my house and now they are telling me they won't cover it because it was not in its original box or a stroller bagI feel they are dishonest people and I'm pretty sure they don't intend to pay anyone's claims and always resort to saying it wasn't properly packed and their extra charge for added "insurance" is just a way to take customers moneyMy advice is avoid these people at all costs

Buckhead Movers has resolved my issues from our May 31st move

[redacted] brought his vehicle into the shop for a state inspection and oil change. The vehicle needed front brake pads and an outer tie rod end to pass inspection. [redacted] took a rejection and came back a few days later for a re-inspection with the work done by someone else. He told me that the...

brake fluid was missing. We did the oil change and inspection which does not involve removing the master cylinder cap. Someone else did the brake work on the vehicle and should have taken the cap off the master cylinder. If we had any reason to remove his brake fluid cap, I would have been happy to have gotten another for him.Since the brake work was done somewhere else I do not feel that we were responsible for the cap being missing.
Thank You,

After thousands of customers have come here and met our staff this is the first complaint we have ever received involving anything high pressure or derogatory towards anyone. Our company policy clearly states that we do not do any work without reviewing the issues with the customer, providing an...

estimate, and gaining customers approval. The vehicle in question is a 2011 with close to 80,000 miles, when a vehicle is brought in and the hood is popped there is no fault to blame on anyone if the hood wont latch afterwards, parts fail on cars all over the world on a daily basis. Our technician did notice the noise in question when turning the steering wheel pulling the vehicle in as they are trained to look and listen for. The air filter presented and sold to the customer was for $20.18 not $45 as customer stated. After discussing the situation with the customer and the technician involved the matter was resolved to the resolution of both parties. Here at All Tune and Lube we believe in customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, and an honest days wages. Thank You, [redacted]Manager - All Tune and Lube

Took my chain saw to have repaired. After a couple of days I get a call and am told the coil is bad, that the coil cost $95.00 and to repair the saw it will cost $150.00. I decided I was not going to spend $150 on a $250 saw. Picked up the saw and paid $25 fee. I went home and on line I could buy a coil all day long for $13.00. I won't be doing business with them again for sure.

Lawn mower was brought in for a non-starting issue. At time of drop off, the desk was informed that a new spark plug and air filter had already been installed/replaced. Results of diagnosis: No spark. Repair was for a new control/starting cable.
Unauthorized repairs performed on mower: Replaced air filter (which was new); replaced old blade for being dull and nicked. Objection to these parts/costs was made. Bill was adjusted for cost of parts and old parts were given back.
Mower blade and air filter was a 'nickle/dime' attempt to raise repair costs.
Be specific in your repair requests and make sure that all new items are recorded on the work request.

First and foremost, on behalf of All Tune & Lube, I apologize that the client's complaint with the issue was not resolved at our facility, we have a scanner that is state of the art but for some reason it couldn't get a code on the misfire to determine exactly what was wrong, the client is right...

the vehicle was brought in when it was running well without a misfire but after installation of new spark plugs and wires the vehicle had a misfire that appeared to becoming from the wires which wires had been replaced twice however with no cure to the issue, client stopped us from getting another set of wires to determine if really the issue was the wires and preferred to take the car to another shop which I do understand frustration and don't fault the client for choosing to go to another shop. On Monday May 25th the client called asking for the refund and the credit was made back to the credit card they used and was not charged for the spark plugs that were installed when they came in for service.I hope this addresses client's complaint and resolves it as per client's request. Thanks,[redacted]Service ManagerALL TUNE & LUBE[redacted] LAKEWOOD WA 98499

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The store manager did contact me. HOWEVER...his offer was NOT as stated.
He did offer the refund, of which I declined.
He did NOT offer any gifts cards, NOR any offer of free car...

washes as he stated. Again, this shows that this [redacted] is NOT honest. He NEVER apoligized for selling a service, taking my money and not being able to fulfill the sold services when expected.
A simple, I'm sorry you had this trouble would have been a nice way to start the conversation with a complaining customer. Had he said sorry, I would have accepted the offer of a refund, and would have responded to the Revdex.com compliant as resolved.
I hope that others may learn from my experience with this location and not do business with this [redacted] location.
 [redacted]...you have lost my business.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Dear Sir, I am sorry for your troubles. However, it appears you are confused.  The second time you came to our shop. You personally talked to [redacted], about your vehicle, not [redacted]. [redacted], explained the new issue you are having with your vehicle, is not related to the repairs we had done....

[redacted], also explained that the repairs we had completed are all correct. Had our repairs been done incorrectly or the parts failed we certainly would warranty the issue with no expense to you. May I further remained you, the only time you and I talked, "[redacted]" was when I politely answered your phone call, and you then told me to [redacted]! Sir we did not promise you a new car with your $1,200 repair, we only repaired the problems you had at the time. We are however in agreement with you.  You should not come back to our shop. The staff as well as myself will not tolerate your unacceptable language, and behaver. [redacted]Managing Member

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2016/07/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
again as I have stated before my car was not leaking when I first took the car in for an oil change. the leaking started after the oil was changed at their shop. I was told by the shop owner to go in the shop and check to see what the mechanic was doing. I was never advise to clean the engine and why should I have to clean the engine if they created the problem. my car was not leaking oil when I first took my car in for an oil change. and yes I got mad when he threw me out of the shop. I feel that he should have corrected the problem not me.
