Allegiant Air is a scamSo much so that I am going to forfeit my tickets on January and book on SouthwestThese people should not even be allowed to operate in the USAAfter talking with their Customer Service (which is an oxymoron) I decided that I would never step foot on one of their planesSCAM!!! Girlfriend and I bought tickets to visit family for the holidaysFound the tickets fairly cheap and figured we would give it a shotAfter our first delay we got a little nervous and checked their reviewsGave them benefit of the doubt, they failed to deliver, and here I am sitting in an airport posting an angry review along with other travelersTerrible serviceMultiple delays with their only excuse being "We are running behind schedule" I understand it is the holiday season but when you book a flight you expect it be on timeThe tickets are cheaper than other airlines which is a plus but not enough to compensate the lost time and headache associated with their insane delays and cancellationsNo offer of a refund on the tickets or a discountAnyone thinking about flying with this company should just pay the extra money to go with an actual airline

My family and I were traveling to Sarasota,FL through Allegiant.We had heard from a friend it was great-cheap round trip flight, rental car included in deals, it all sounded like a great deal!We decided to try them out.Our departure flight from Belliville,IL was supposed to leave on Saturday at 11:am and we were supposed to arrive in Clearwater,FL at 2:pm.That did NOT work out.Our flight was delayed times.The first time it was delayed hours and minutes-departure now at 4:pm.The SECOND TIME delay-two hoursWe were now departing at 6:The THIRD TIME-delay hour and minutes.Departing at 7:pm.The very last time, fourth time delay-minutes.We finally departed around 8:pm.Our departure went from 11:am to 8:pm.That is and a half hours.We missed a whole day of vacation- still paying for a nights stay at the condo, and we only got TWO $food vouchers and $dollars off our next flight- HA! Like we are going to fly with them again! DO NOT FLY ALLEGIANT!!

The flight itself was unremarkable, ok service, no leg room, peanuts for snacks, and they nickel and dime you from luggage to water However, they were cheap The issue I have is with their coupon affiliate - trial period for daysWe took the coupon from travel adventure and great fun then promptly canceled the same week However they never actually canceled our service We tried multiple times to cancel Each time the customer service rep were extremely friendly but yet they kept charging us! It has been over months and still I can't get them to stop charging us $and we are filing fraud charges at this point

Allegiant Air should be called [redacted] Air because that is what you endure when dealing with them before, during and after your trip!! Cheap flights = zero, zip, zilch - absolutely no customer service whatsoever This company has the longest list of excuses I have ever seen They refuse to do the right thing by their customers The only compliment I can pay them is they do a great job of training their employees to be 100% useless If working for Allegiant Air was the only job I could find I would take up pan handling I refuse to fly this airline ever again When possible I will choose [redacted] every time!

Allegiant's unethical practices are shown with my experience renting a car along with my flightWhen booking a rental car, Allegiant charges their customers through a double-payment system where the customer first pays for the rental car service in advance and then pays the rental car company additional fees after the car is returnedThis second payment (for fees) is NOT a part of the agreed upon price with Allegiant at the time of the purchaseIn my case, I agreed upon a rate of $for the carWhen I returned the car I was charged an additional $from the rental car companyI was disappointed to realize that Allegiant buries this double-payment scheme in the fine print of the travel plan agreementI called Allegiant to try and get my $refundedAllegiant assured me that the double-payment scheme is legal and refused to refund me the $I refuse to deal with businesses that overlook ethical concerns and hide behind legal complianceI will never fly Allegiant again

I know people usually only write reviews when they are mad, so I wanted to leave a positive reviewI traveled, my flight was on time (both ways), the crew was friendly, and my fare was cheapIt wasn't the best travel experience of my life, but it wasn't the worstI got where I needed to go for cheap and, well, what more can you ask for than that?

On 9/28/16, I purchased tickets through allegiantConfirmation number *** The day I did it, it would not accept my debit card it kept saying something was wrong with the addressI tried every possible way my address could be written, referred to my bank statement and to no availI called for help, stayed on hold for a VERY long time and never get to speak to anyoneI ended up booking with my credit card that night and immediately sent an email(9/28) and I sent another on (11/28)I still have record of both but have never received a response or a credit for the $they charged me to use my credit cardI used the same address for credit card purchase which was acceptedHonestly, considering the lack of response and after talking to others this feels like a ploy to charge people extra because mysteriously many people have had issues with their debit card addresss not working! Their customer service in this instance is deplorable!

We sat on the plane 1/hours with no air before they took is off the planeThen we waited an hour in the terminal with no wordThen we were put in line and told there was no flight and no substituteOur flight was rescheduled for 6pmNow it's been delayed an hour! Never fly Allegiant!!!! I was told no compinsation for my $337/night condo I've missed nights of as well as a non refundable boat trip

This business cares nothing for it's passengers They are ALWAYS delayed by hours! They cancel flights and give no reason or notification My return flight was cancelled days before I ever left for my trip and nothing was said by staff They say they sent e-mail six days after the flight was cancelled I had to drive 15hrs back home All I was offered was my money back for the unused flight The refund was but cost me for car rental and in gas I will NEVER use again!

I had the worst experience in my life with Allegiant AirI bought tickets months in advanced and had some emergencies occur--I explained to them I was traveling with military and they did not offer condolences or any type of compensationThey would not work with me AT ALLCustomer service was miserable, after waiting on the phone for almost an hour, I got a rude customer service representative who raised their voice with me and to "satisfy me" they sent me an email stating they could not help me with changing air dates/transferring tickets Their cancellation fees were ridiculously high and I lost over half of the money I spent on these ticketsI will definitely never travel with this airline again, especially since they did not respect our armed veterans

Allegiant Airlines: Buyer Stay Away: My wife booked a ticket for me a few months ago to go on vacation Today I called allegiant Airlines to change the reservation, I ended up having to call twice and was on hold for almost two hoursThe First call was mins on hold and some lady from india that hardly speaks English answered and asked for my name I didn't give it to her but asked what the hold up was for the long wait times and she ended up hanging up on me The second call wasn't any better over an hour on hold and by this time I was done, I wanted to cancel my reservation and spend the extra money and fly ** *** or *** since I have never EVER had and experience like this with them I was told to pretty much go fly a kite and since I didn't cancel it yesterday they wouldn't refund my money or change the reservation date, I asked to speak with a manager and was told I would be contacted within 48hours Terrible customer service they can keep my money leason learned

The flight itself was fine but we were treated very discourteously prior to taking offOne of the Associates at the counter was very rude to my husband and IShe made our departure stressful, unenjoyable and downright embarrassing after the way she spoke to us in front of other people

I have flown allegiant air a couple of times, and each time there has been some sort of hick upThe flights are NEVER on time, always a dealMr latest ordeal is that my luggage did not make it to my second destination, I called the airline twice, both times was waiting for someone to respond well over an hour, and once someone did respond I notified that my luggage was found and would be delivered on the next flight; two days later after already waiting two days to get through to someoneSo now days no luggage, causing extra expenses to be incurredThen the day the luggage was due to arrive, I went to the airport not once but twice wasting hours of my day trying to obtain my luggage, with no such luckNow today I am still waiting and of course allegiant air does not fly to boise daily, so my luck is that I still will have no luggage again for another 2-daysThis is unacceptable and Allegiant needs to be revamped or just shut down!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK!!!! If you want to actually have a vacation and get there then do not fly this airlineThe prices look cheap but after you sit in the airport for a day and a half waiting for a flight and continue to get delayed and pushed back for hours on end you actually find outin the end that they don't fly you anywhereWe were supposed to leave on a flight at 7:pm After being pushed back hour after hour we were finally told at about pm that our flight was cancelled and they would let us know later when the flight had been rebooked for the next dayFast forward to day two and several delays later and at the airport we still sit Try to ask for answers and no one can tell you anythingThey have a bunch of kids trying to run the business

It is amazing to me that when the fare drops $for a trip months away that your airline will do nothingI was told the cancellation fees are more than the increase so there is nothing we can doThat is ridiculousSo basically your trip insurance is fraud protectionAfter this trip that I am apparently married to, I will never use your airline again and plan on telling every one of my friendsMost who travel frequently and up until now used your airlineI guarantee that they, like me, would rather pay a larger airline more upfront for the benefit of getting an adjusted fareOr even a comp for luggage or a future flight creditNot to mention one where the seats reclineDisgustingI might even eat the fee just to take my business elsewhereI haven't decided yet, but that's looking more and more likely

Allegiant Travel is the epitome abysmal service and loathsome airline experiences It is the manifestation of every horrid, detestable trend in the airline industryMy specific issues with them include: delays, falsely advertised prices, hidden fees, delays, tiny seats, poor customer service, and delaysAllegiant is infamous for their innumerable delaysThey are also credited with pioneering the misleading practice of pushing away from the terminal ( and recording an "on time" departure) only to leave passengers sitting on the runway for hoursRest assured that if there is a ***, Allegiant executives will arrive there one day...late

I booked a flight clicked the wrong button on line because heir site is very glitchy. I am very upset and I am out $350 I don't know what in going to do. They didn't let me change it for the right date 2 minutes after I had booked the flight.

Misleading information regarding Tripflex. Purchased it in case I had to cancel, but can't get a refund, only a non-transferrable voucher which does me no good because I can't fly due to a medical condition.

The THIRD TIME-delay 1 hour and 38 minutes.Departing at 7:59 pm.The very last time, fourth time delay-30 minutes.We finally departed around 8:30 pm.Our departure went from 11:14 am to 8:30 pm.That is 9 and a half hours.We missed a whole day of vacation- still paying for a nights stay at the condo, and we only got TWO $8 food vouchers and $50 dollars off our next flight- HA! Like we are going to fly with them again! DO NOT FLY ALLEGIANT!!
