Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me ONLY insofar as I have received a refund and don't EVER have to deal with this company againI think the role of the Revdex.com in facilitating this resolution, however, I know that the role of the Revdex.com is far greater and more important than resolving individual disputesThe bottom line is that this company runs a scam of a business and needs to be shut down to protect other people from being preyed on by them at a very stressful and important time--a multi-state moveMany others do not have the time, energy, interest or know-how to contact the Revdex.com about this company but a simple YELP review will yield DOZENS of complaints that reflect the exact same sentiments as mine For the sake of consumer protection, please suspend this company's ability to run a criminal business I am available for further questioning if necessary Sincerely, [redacted]

This is the only thing I have gotten from them

Started with a general internet inquiry [redacted] , salesperson for Alliance Moving Services, responded by phone and said all of the correct things (I never noticed that he only would correspond by phone until after the fact) Of course, all of the things that I wanted him to say (and believed) turned out to be lies, so if you're told to expect a call a couple of days before your "move window" letting you know which day the movers will be there, you won't get a call and the company will deny any responsibility for giving you a callIf you're told that your stuff will show up in (or even 3) days, it's a lie The contract that you'll sign will give the company days, and they intend to take all of it I spoke with the company over a dozen times, starting days before the move, when [redacted] promised we'd get a call They could tell us nothing in advance We were told that the day before the move, the mover would give you a call At one point, I spoke with [redacted] , supposedly the [redacted] of the company, and he told me the moving company would not be able to move us in the "move window" which was in the contract Instead of remorse or an apology, I received instructions of what I should say to the new buyer and the closing company about needing a few extra days Suffice it to say, we were not given a few extra days, we had to rent a separate [redacted] and move ourselves into the [redacted] , and then wait for the movers to show up a day late When the movers showed up a day late (the movers hired by Alliance because, I suspect, other plans had fallen through) they were out of Dallas, and instead of taking our furniture to WI, which was what [redacted] committed to over the phone, they were told to take our belongings back to Dallas, and then move them up within the next - weeks Because we were outside of the contract (they showed up a day late), and because we had already packed everything into a [redacted] , we decided to move ourselves Alliance then threatened to withhold our downpayment because - according to Alliance - we refused the attempt of the movers to move us on the contracted day Here's what happened - after we loaded our own [redacted] and went through closing on the house, we received a call from the movers at 8pm They had just arrived in our town with another load, would need - hours to unload that load, and then would be exhausted They asked if it would be okay to move us the following morning At this point, it didn't make any difference to us, so I approved their request Alliance is taking the position that since I did not insist that the movers move us at 11pm at night, I was responsible for the day delay Be very wary of this company - trust nothing that is said, and read your contract very carefully The company knows this contract well, and will constantly throw the contents back in your face, and takes absolutely no responsibility for anything their salespeople say

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: They are still lying because , I did not give the wrong zip code because it was never asked for! He asked for the three digit code on the back of my card I gave it too him , he then requested it again because he said it was wrong! I said if was wrong it would not have gone though my account nor would it have been pending ...I am not an it as they think!I was sitting watching the transaction take place on my account as it happen ,also got two text messages on my phone for the withdrawal's .I told [redacted] he had took to two deposits out and he acted like it was nothingYes he said it would fall off but I didn't believe him because I knew they wouldn't..because he also had said what does it matter you are going to be spending the money with us anyway! I went to my bank and talk to the [redacted] who in turn agreed that it would not have fallen off because it was pending to pay out both $paymentswhich would total $ and woud have to request for Alliance Moving Services Incto issue me a refund..which I whole heartlly doubt ,just from this situationWell if they are a legit Company then they need to the right thing! They are not moving Company only Broker's I am not issue interested in doing business with anyone that can't provide great service ! As far the moving Company and the Driver they both call me on Thursday and Friday still trying to get me to use them and asked me why did I go through broker's and not directly with moving Company? I told [redacted] That I was not aware they were Broker's until after the fact! I also asked him why did he tell them I was ruded to him when I called himHe said he did not tell them that I was rude to him ..he asked them why did they give me his Cell phone #...Because I asked [redacted] ( is this a moving Co[redacted] replied YesI asked why are you answering the that way[redacted] replied because this is my cell phone I said this is the # Alliance gave me He asked why did they not give you the office #.....I said you will have to ask them that!On Friday [redacted] called me back I said if I wanted To still use His Company I could go on His website check it out and let him know...I told I was already in Ga because and that I would get some my Church member's to help me..Alliance Moving services Inc..Still lie!! Second response [redacted] to complaint ID # [redacted] The customer signed an agreement and the pick up window was May [redacted] – May *, The agent carrier was there on time and completed the pick up as it was stated in the contractWe apologize for any inconvenience but with big interstate moves there are variables that we cannot controlThe truck had issues while driving to the pick up destination but we were still able to service the move within the time specified in the contractThe agent carrier did the correct packingThey were at the customer’s house longer than usual however they were getting the job done on timeAccording to term #of the contract the delivery must be made within business days of the shipper’s first available delivery dateThe goods were moved within the guidelines of the contractThe customer may file a claim through the agent carrier’s insurance The move came with standard cargo protection which covers up to $10,based on $0.60/lbper article

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: ONCE AGAIN, ALLIANCE RELIES ON A "CONTRACT," NOT OUR AGREEMENT There was never a contract between us That is something that lawyers will perhaps hash out later I explained to " [redacted] " at Alliance that I was traveling, had no access to email, and could not go forward [redacted] of Alliance assured me it was merely an agreement to reserve a move date - not a full comprehensive contract This was explained in detail to Alliance several times - they refuse to acknowledge it (even in their reply) Pay special attention to how they use it in their answer - THIS IS HOW THEY WILL SIDESTEP THEIR ORAL COMMITMENTS TO YOU LATER ALLIANCE REFUSES TO ADDRESS THEIR IMPROPER USE OF THIRD PARTIES This is one of the issues that strikes at the heart of their deceitful behavior They will tell you they do all the moves and "not to trust" those who subcontract the work In the end, they themselves are the chief perpetrators of this deceitful practice Note, they do not deny using third parties, but hide behind the practices of the third parties to side-step blame ALLIANCE WILL NOT TRUTHFULLY AND FULLY DISCLOSE THE SCOPE OF DAMAGE It took a complaint to Revdex.com to get Alliance to admit there may have been some damage to the goods However, they have never fully and completely admitted to the accident, provided us with an accident report, or owned up to the damage caused by their contractor They have not admitted to damaging the home, even though there is clear evidence they have done so In fact, move damage became evident this week, when our washer failed to run - "a bent shaft from being dropped" opined our repairman Doubtless, Alliance will deny this as well ALLIANCE ADVISED AGAINST ADDITIONAL INSURANCE I raised the idea of obtaining additional coverage for the move, but " [redacted] " at Alliance stated as a common carrier they would cover any damage or loss to our goods Now it appears Alliance will attempt to recover "by the pound" as opposed to the cost of replacing the goods they damaged [redacted] did advise that we did not need to obtain coverage because our homeowner's insurance would cover all damage However, our carrier has advised they will only cover theft losses (which we may criminally prosecute if no relief is forthcoming) not damage losses ALLIANCE IS UNCONCERNED WITH TRUE REMEDY, ONLY PROFIT Note that in a prior entry I explained we have goods from another party's move Alliance had an opportunity to review our claim and render fair comment ALLIANCE HAS NOT SOUGHT OUT THE WHEREABOUTS OR CONTENTS OF THOSE ITEMS THEY WRONGFULLY SHIPPED TO US We have another person's items in our possession We have not been contacted by Alliance to arrange to have those goods returned to the rightful owner WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR GOODS MOVED IN THIS FASHION? They have not followed through on their original promises, engaged in sharp practices in contract execution, and failed in every aspect of true customer service Avoid Alliance at all costs WHAT THEY REPRESENTED IN TO INTICE THE SALE - They "do not use third parties to perform the move." - The goods will be "delivered within days of pickup." - Payment can be made with a credit card or personal check - The goods will be protected and safeguarded from physical injury during transport WHAT THEY ACTUALLY PERFORMED Reality on the Use of Third Parties - Excepting the boiler-room tactics to aggressively close the sale and field complaints, Alliance utilizes third parties from all over the country Movers arrive driving rented trucks (Budget, in our case)No one you have face-to-face contact with is directly employed by Alliance and if pressed they admit it The laborers are casual day hires that respond to Craigslist ads for jobs for that day There is no background check, drug screening or other method used to insure trustworthy individuals are handling your goods Reality of a Day Delivery -The promise and the reality of delivery are entirely different To get you to contract with them, Alliance will verbally promise virtually anything Bear in mind their office is in New York, and they obtain top talent to close the sale on the phone, and top talent to defray responsibility when they fail to deliver Once your goods are loaded, they lose all control over the logistics of the move - it is controlled by their third party contractors For about weeks, we had reports our goods were alternately in warehouses in "Dallas, Texas; Oklahoma City; New Jersey; Arkansas; the Carolinas," etc It seemed they had no true idea where our goods were at all On one occasion, we gained access to the driver, who admitted his trailer rig struck a bridge and destroyed the latter feet of the truck, exposing all contents to severe winter weatherThis admission never came up again and has been subsequently deniedThe fact that our goods arrived crushed and water damaged, co-mingled with another persons goods, and missing large quantities of boxes may be explained by that incident, which they now deny The time of actual delivery has no true relationship with the promises Alliance made when we had an alleged agreement After all goods were loaded, the third party contracted loader stated it will "probably" take a "few days" to get delivered In fact, it took about a month to arrive When confronted with the clear disparity, Alliance said that according to the contract, they had "business days" to deliver the goods(Note: a continuous pattern of behavior with Alliance is to verbally promise excellent service, then stand firmly on the written contract, denying any verbal promises they made - classic sharp business practice.) Since the pick up and delivery occurred over the winter holidays, the goods were picked up the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and dropped off the day after Christmas The "business days" during that time of year run shorter than any other time of year, relative to "actual days." When dealing with Alliance, you must ignore their promises regarding actual delivery days - their verbal promises are completely worthless Count on about a month to get your goods, and pray they arrive in one piece Reality of the Method of Payment -Alliance will represent you may pay using any method When the third party delivery driver arrives with his day-laboring staff, he will demand payment for over the contracted amount in cash, money order, or cashier's check At that point, your stuff will be packed, plans for the move will be made, and you will be faced with a choice: pay the money their way, or delay your move If you contact Alliance, their "customer service representative" will direct you to fine print in the contract that supports their position Again - their verbal representations do not align with their actual practice The third party pidriver confessed he and his crew are paid from the proceeds of funds obtained by the customer at pick up, and Alliance will not pay them if it's paid by personal check or credit card Go figure The Reality of Safeguarded Goods - The goods are not protected or safeguarded during transit In fact, Alliance has no knowledge or control over your goods whatsoever They apparently maintain no fleet of trucks, have no warehouse facility, no drivers, no capital equipment or facilities whatsoever that directly perform moving services They are a place that takes your money, hires unscreened third parties, executes dubious contracts, and separates you from your money The delivery in question was completely slipshod in every regard The goods were loaded onto a Budget rented truck by casually unscreened laborers that could not converse in English From there, the goods were reloaded onto another truck at another location that has never been fully disclosedThe next (or perhaps subsequent) truck was apparently and allegedly involved in a major accident and the items were exposed to weather for an unknown period of time The boxes arrived crushed and clearly water damaged Several of the boxes were opened and many were missing altogether Some boxes were not ours at all! Alliance was hired to safely transport our goods from our prior location to our new location within a time frame They simply and utterly failed in that regard THE "CONTRACT" Alliance continues to allude to an alleged "contract" that supports their position When booking the move, the salesperson (" [redacted] ") said "his" trucks were filling fast and that I needed to book the date with a credit card While on the road to be with my father during his last days in a neighboring State, I provided Alliance with a credit card Alliance said I needed to confirm the reservation by electronically signing their confirmation notice Given that their document is about point font on an I Phone, I had a colleague sign on and click their box Later, they used that "confirmation" of deposit as the basis of the "contract" that excused performance of their verbal promises Again, sharp business practice THE "THIRD PARTY INSURANCE COMPANY" Note well, that Alliance is very careful about how it treats the "remedy." They have no association with them, are not bound by their findings, and can tell them to pound sand in the end The "insurance company" states it is "NOT" a number of things, including an insurance company Their claims process is exhaustive, clearly designed to dissuade anyone from making a claim in the first place I hardly consider them a comprehensive remedy in any regard, but will with hold final judgment until the claim is processed In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
