Our records show that a valid enrollment was received for [redacted]’s electric account on 03/13/2015, via an online enrollment for a 3 month term. Attached is the Terms of Service for your review....
According to our records, [redacted]’s contract expiration notices were sent to the customer on 04/28/2015, and 05/13/2015 indicating that his contract would expire on 06/12/2015 along with renewal options. The notification explained that if service was not renewed the service will be switched to a variable rate plan. Because the customer did not renew his contract, he was billed at the market variable rate. Please find a copy of the renewal notices attached for your review.
We do as much as possible to avoid unsatisfied customers; in this situation [redacted]’s account was billed correctly and handled exactly according to the Terms of Service agreed to at the time of enrollment as well as after his contract ended. The customer is responsible for the consumption charges as billed.
Feel free to reach out to us if you have additional questions.

My next electric bill will cover Saturday February 18 - Friday March 17, 2017, and it should be processed by March 20, 2017 - at which time I will expect Oasis Energy to have the information needed to process my refund. I expect a letter detailing the calculation of my determined refund to be sent with the refund by April 20, 2017.
Sent: Tuesday, March 01, 2016 3:05 PMSubject: Revdex.com of Houston and South Texas- Complaint regarding Your Business #[redacted] To whom it may concern: We strive to provide a positive experience for all of our customers. We have reached out to Ms. [redacted] to address her account concerns. It appears that the customer may not have a clear understanding of the process. Ms. [redacted] believes that her total usage charges for her final bill should have been refunded because the contract expired. The customer was advised that had she been with Oasis or [redacted] she is still responsible for paying her usage charges. Ms. [redacted] was also advised that Oasis Energy adjusted her bills for the months that she was billed at the variable rate from 11/22/2016 – 01/25/2016 to the rate she would have paid had she been with [redacted]. The customer confirmed that she did receive her refund check in the mail and wanted confirmation that she had no more charges from Oasis Energy. We were able to confirm for the customer that her account terminated with Oasis Energy on 1/25/2016, and she has a zero balance with Oasis Energy. We apologize for any inconvenience that the customer may have experienced. The calculation for her adjustment has been explained and at this time we believe that no additi[redacted]l credit is due, as the charges after the refund reflect what the customer would have paid if she had been billed by the utility company. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you should have any questions or concerns regarding this matter. To Whom This May Concern: Thank you for bringing [redacted]’s additional concern to our attention and for allowing us to address it. While Oasis certainly understands Ms. [redacted]’s concern we’d like to advise that the variable rate pricing is purchased on the spot making the price volatile depending on market conditions. Because of this the rate will most likely increase from the initial fixed rate pricing. Unfortunately, the account does not warrant any credit adjustments. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Best regards,April [redacted]
