We have had many missed pick ups with this company, some due to weather some not We have a contract to have trash and recycle picked up bi-weekly and over the last two months we have had late, partial or no service out of cycles I've made multiple complaints and all casella was willing to do was a week refund of $ Then the next week they missed another pickup They claimed it was due to weather but trash was able to make their pick up I called that day to ensure pick up was still happening and the company told me it was still scheduled however just running late I feel the truck was just running too late and made an excuse about the road Our "hill" is 20' and the road was not that bad Trash, fuel, *** and *** all had no issue My customer service rep was unwilling to be empathetic to my continual moving of barrels of waste back and forth and only repeated the same genetic company line to tell the customerWhen I asked for more of a refund she starte

Negative wish casella would pan out we have very limited options in *** ***no call no show a lot.also no return call.again have no where to put garbage and they want you to stack it out side next to your garbage bins it BLOWS all over the place ! We have more garbage in our yards and woods then they pick up.there rude and cant complete there job!!

The Town of Fairfax entered into an agreement with Casella to provide trash and recycling services I've had multiple issues related to my trash not being picked up as provided in the agreement This last occurrence was on 9/7/and trash not picked up Called Customer Care and said they'd get back to me that day (***} Did not hear back from her so called later that afternoon *** wasn't available and spoke with *** *** said *** tried to call me and I advised I'd been home all day and she did not attempt to call me *** put me on hold and said my trash should be picked up Friday (9/ Friday called back and *** said should be picked up *** called me a few minutes later and said trash would be picked up (9/9) Trash not picked up Saturday Call back Monday (9/11) and Christi said trash would be picked up 9/ I've been lied to, misinformed, no response from my emails to their Customer Care site No comments about why not picked up Absolutely the most inco

I have used Casella for one of my apartment buildings for yearsAt the beginning of January, I called and requested to cancel my service with them, as the dumpster was taking up a parking spot and attracting wildlifeI was told not to worry, the dumpster would be removed, and no further charges would be processedFast forward to today, and Casella still has not removed the dumpster, nor have they picked up the trashWhen I called for answers two weeks ago, they said someone accidentally listed our account as on a seasonal hiatus, and they would fixAs of today the dumpster is full of trash, and Casella hasn't picked up in over a monthHere's the kicker - Casella continues to charge us $150/month, and even charged us an extra $in January (when asked why, they admitted it was an error on their part)Now to pick up the dumpster they are trying to charge us a 6-month termination feeI will never do business with Casella againAll I want is for them to pick their dumpster up (going on months now), stop charging me for not picking anything up, and to be done with them

Clean Green was my trash hauler since September and it was sold to Casella on 10/ We received a letter postmarked 9/that the sale was taking plus, which amounts to no notice Several people, including the Town Clerk (representing the town) said on Front Porch Forum that like me, they received no, or late, notice of the sale and did not have their trash picked up this week Clean Green issued no apology or explanation, gave us no refunds for lack or service, and gave us no information about a switch to a new pickup day or about how Casella operates

My trash company driver came to pick up my trash and took out boards out of trash and throw them across my side so someone can get hurt, and he didn't take all my trash beside my can after the company told me to just set them next to the can, now the company is saying they don't take boards or anything next to trash can and never did take them I have people that seen and heard what they told me when I got service with them, and they been taking wood cents I started with them ask anyone on my street I have pictures and witness to everything I stated here
This isn't a good way to have a business act at all, they need to send letters if they are gonna change something

They applied my payment to the month that I requested my service shut off, instead of applying it to the month I actually had service, and then threatened to report me as days past dueThey are trying to charge me for a month, that I had no service and then did not apply my payment to the month I had serviceI called and spoke with ***, whom admitted it was an accounting issue, but stated there is nothing he can do to fix it ! They are trying to get an extra payment from me for nothingIn my opinion, this seems like a crooked companyI am afraid they will affect my credit, due to no fault of my own

Casella Waste claims I owed them money on a bill that I had already paidThey recently decided to charge my credit card without my knowledge or authorization

This company used to decent in the Early 90s before they became the corporate *** they are nowThey won’t pick up a single garbage if the dumpster is full and on the ground next to the dumpster, they place the dumpsters in peoples PAID parking spots so that there is no way to avoid them, and on top of that their customer service is more like customer disserviceThis used to be a good decent family owned company but now they are nothing but corporate prostitutes looking for a quick buck!

I have been a customer of Casella for a few yearsMy bill is set to auto pay so I am not behind on paymentsOn Friday, December 22, I received a robocall informing me that my trash pickup would be delayed one day due to the holiday, shifting my pickup day to ThursdayOn Thursday night around p.mwe noticed our cans hadn't been moved at all and checked to find that our garbage hadn't been takenThis is a FULL can due to the holiday and all of the associated trappingsI called this morning to find out why it hadn't been picked up and was informed the driver "must have forgotten" our houseI was also informed that no one could come out sooner than our next scheduled pickup (next Wednesday) due to "short staff" associated with the holidays and recent winter weatherTheir only offer was to pick up any extra garbage I may have beyond my can that day at no extra chargeNow I am left with a full can, no place to put any garbage between now and then, and to top it all off, my

For the first few months my services with the company were wonderful However, depending who is driving and who you call for customer service you will get different responsibilities of the company and employees For example I was told for oversized boxes and or containers that would not fit to call the company and the driver will get out of the truck and pick up (if they know prior to the pick up) That was false, The driver refused to pick up After calling customer service the drivers are not obligtated to exit the vehicleFew weeks later it was raining and my recycling was full as it always is The driver began tilting the bin before it was above the truck, resulting in recycling all over the road and yard Regardless of if the mess was his fault he dropped the container and leftI found myself cleaning up and calling customer service The assistant told me the driver is then obligated to exit the vehicle and clean up Last week, my bin was full and would not close all but about 3-inches Nothing was falling out, the driver refused to pick up my recycling because he deemed it "to full" I even had a clear plastic with milk jugs inside He could have simply got out and thrown the bag in, and proceeded to dump my bin Knowing the the driver is not obligated to exit the vehicle for messes that he creates, and or to do his jobToday I witnessed the same driver pull over and browse at local yard sales! I pay him to collect my recycles and trash, I have to call at least once a month because he's not doing what is expected of him and he's out yardsailing?!

I was a satisfied customer for a number of years, often providing a tip to the drivers at holiday timeOver the last year, however, pickup has been missedWhen I called to ask if another truck could be sent out I was told noCustomer service is not very responsive and I had to talk with three representatives to get a credit for the week that service was not providedFinally, the representative reluctantly gave the credit saying that they normally don't provide credit because they are still charged to dispose of the garbageI still can't figure out the logic in that statementI finally decided to switch to a local waste management company and was told to wait for the new billThe new bill was over $higher than I had calculatedWhen I called the representative was able to make the adjustment, however, I made sure I got this in writing and a copy of this with my final (I thought) checkThis was not the final bill, however, since the payment I sent was over days after the original billEven though I was instructed by Casella themselves to wait until a new bill had been generated, they added a $late feeI very reluctantly paid this because I determined this was worth the chance to avoid being abused by another customer service representativeBy switching to a local provider I now receive weekly garbage and recycling pickup and will be saving over $a year

We are being charged for services that we never received for the month of January We called in the beginning of the month to cancel however they said we would still be charged so we said fine we will finish out the month and then cancel usFor the month of January our garbage was out every single week and never was picked up we called them and they said they had no clue what happened and accused us of our garbage not being outThey said they made a special trip to pick up our garbage which was once and then they picked up the cans because the month was finishedSo for the ENTIRE month of January they are telling us we owe them money for because our garbage is to be picked up WEEKLY not onceThey said there is nothing they can do and it's not rightWill never do business with these ever againThey don't care about their customersI have a terminal illness and I don't need this stress

The worst service I have paid forI pay to have my dumpster dumped once a month, the last time it was dumped was the third week of NovemberI call them every week and they tell me next wednesday and it never happensIt's Wednesday Janlet's see if today's the day!!
