I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
I understand that [redacted] believes he had wasted time with us. However, we never refused a refund from him as he agreed to a $15,000 refund in email. I do not need to sign a release of funds to receive a refund. I have sent, in writing, many times that I will accept a refund that he agrees to. If he wants to refund us $12,000 for an $8,000 billable then he should do that. Holding on to my full $20,000 is inappropriate and unprofessional.  So I was a crappy customer to him...does that mean he can never refund us $12,000-$15,000? I will not be satisfied until I receive a refund for the hours and labor he never worked on.

Here is what we can agree with his response.   #1.  We did spend close to $150k with Allure Design, #2 We have never questioned the quality of work, #3 The waiver supplied by [redacted] and his Attorney was signed on the pretense that the electrician was paid in full by Allure back in April of 2016.  Here is what we would like to supply now and state: There are no threats, the reality is we have filed with the Attorney General, Secretary of State, and currently completing a small claims application.  I am attaching our contract that calls out Allure was responsible for electric, plumbing and permitting, He relied on me to find him local sub-contractors who have both agreed to submit an affidavit stating they both spoke with Allure, provided pricing and were told to proceed.   In no place is there a call out for an allowance for electrical or plumbing in the contract.   So if I exceeded my allowance by 50%, my contract with Allure has nothing included to that affect.  Secondly, I would ask that he supply proof (Cancelled Checks payable to Town of [redacted], payable to [redacted] Electrical, payable to [redacted] [redacted]) that he paid is portion.   It is not possible,  since he never paid any of this, but the contract clearly calls it out. It is disappointing that it has to come to this, but what is right is right,  Allure could have a very satisfied customer but instead choose to not take responsibility for expenses tied to the project.

We did work for [redacted] at her Lexington home in the Spring of this year. [redacted] was a very involve client in her project (which we like as a Company). Attached is [redacted]'s final billing of the project completed at her home and so you can see, [redacted] has a $107 that she owes us and is refusing to pay....

I like [redacted] as a person and I enjoyed working with her on her hardscape, landscape project. I have no idea why she would post a negative review online when in fact we do not owe her a refund, she owes us a balance. AS CONSUMERS PLEASE REVIEW OUR DETAILED INVOICING TO [redacted] AND MAKE UP YOUR OWN DETERMINATION OF THE FACTS.

I can see the business owner is angry about the state of the project.  Unfortunately, I have been the party to sustain a loss here of over $22k.  Contracts where signed and provisions were not met on the part of Allure Design.  There is no way to be clearer about that and I have demonstrated that at length previously.  The Conservation Commission (as much as the business owner would like it to) has no bearing on that fact.  I have posted reviews on sites so that no one else ends up on the same situation as I did.
