I am rejecting this response because:When I contacted Mr A*** weeks ago he said to text him my address and he would be outI have been texting him daily ever since asking when he would be out and he has never answered me or declined to fix the washing machine he sold meI then filed the complaint against him and continued trying to contact him to schedule an appointmentHis response is unacceptable and not business likeI have been waiting weeks now for him to service the washing machine that he sold me Based on his response I'm very concerned that he doesn't want to service it because he knows it's not repairableI base this assumption on his past behavior and what I discovered about the initial refrigerator he sold meI'm sorry but any legitimate business always services the appliances they sell to a consumer regardless if they are new or usedI firmly believe MrA*** has a duty to service the washing machine he sold to me and that just because I filed a previous complaint against him with the Revdex.com regarding a different appliance with a different issue, does not exempty him from said dutyI have been waiting for weeks with no other way to do laundry as I have no transportation and Mr A*** is aware of thisHe also knows he was recommended by my landlord as I am new to the area and don't know anyone. MrA*** has a duty to service the washing machine that he sold to meI don't expect to have to wait any longer for an appointment as I have now been waiting weeks for an appointmentJust because he doesn't like that I had to previously make a complaint against him is no excuse to not service another appliance he sold meIt doesn't exempt him from his duty to service the used appliances he sells to the public.

I am rejecting this response
because:
The initial conversation I had with the business did not go like that It lasted maybe minutes and I was never told of service chargeor made an offer to repair the appliance The owner never even asked who I was or what the issue was, nor did he say he would come and look at it for a fee, and then if I found my receipt he would refund me the service charge If he had said that, then wouldn't I have just taken him up on that $fee as opposed to paying another repair service $do look at the appliances? Of course I would He never said that What he did say was that we could not have a conversation about any repairs until I had my receipt with the warranty information What is stated in his letter is untrue Did I argue, yes I did, because he is dishonest and tried to talk over me every time I said something.Additionally, after that conversation, he had no interest or concern about the appliance not working until HIS money was affected -- then he was all about fixing the items He is correct about not being contacted about the refigerator -- after such a lack of concern or interest in resolving the issue of the washer, why would I think it would be different for a larger and more expensive refrigerator? Additionally, the business did not call me until weeks after my initial call to them -- obviously I had to replace what wasn't working So him coming to fix my appliances now doesn't resolve my issues because I've had to replace them So yes, I do want a refund The initial conversation is a he said/she said,so I'm not surprised that they won't take responsibility -- it's how they operated However, the subsequent conversation that we had, was recorded and I've filed a complaint with the attorney general and plan on pursuing this to the fullest, as well as involving others that this business has wronged in the same manner Please see below for comments available on social media from other unsuspecting customers -- ALL WITHIN THE LAST MONTHS This business won't care until they are held responsible for their poor business practices It amazes me that all he has to do is say "that's not how it happened" and the Revdex.com closes the issue How is that a resolution? All that does is allow him to continue to steal people's money I will continue to pursue with whatever agencies necessary until I get a refund ** *** * *** ***

Dear [redacted]:Thanks for your assistant with the complaint ID # [redacted]. Our business specialized in repairing and selling used appliances. But, based on a previous uncomfortable business experience with the same customer, we reserved the right to not service her washer...

machine. If you have any question or concern, please feel free to contact me at any time.

February 07,2018Dear [redacted]:Thanks for your assistant with the complaint ID # [redacted].As the customer stated we went twice to his house the fridge continues with some mechanical problem, our apologies because we never couldn’t agree with the time when I try to contact him he was unable to...

receive me, and when he was around I couldn’t get there. On Monday February 6/2018,1 called him back to go to his house and take care of the refrigerator and he told me he is out of the city. He said, “will call you back when I get back home”, now we are waiting on him again. If you have any question or concern, please feel free to contact me at any time.Sincerely,Adriana A.Owner

Thanks for been assisting small businesses owners and customers, solving issues concerning business transaction. We appreciate the time you take to validate each party information.
Our mission as a second hand appliances business is to fix each item to get the best performance of each...

unit. As a technician we always provided the best quality maintenance of our appliances. But, been aware that things happen. Motive why we give our customer four (4) months warranty in labors and part if any situation occurs. But, we always expected the best performance of the appliances in the longest period of time possible. In the specific case which you assigned an id #10412675 we apologize with the customer for the same reasons they explained in the letter. When they called us and tell us about the dryer issues and we were able to fix the situation as they said we were out of the country, we decided to give them a discount of $40.00 dollars for the inconvenience it caused them.
A week later, they sent me a text message saying they were experienced some difficulty with the washer machine and they were requesting a full refund of the purchase. As we explain to each individual customer, and written in our invoice “we do repair or exchange only, we don’t make cash refunds”. We are willing to fix the issue as soon as possible. Just to remember, they have to bring the appliances back to the store, if we can’t fix it; then, we will replaced it.
If you have ahy guestions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time.
Sincerely,
Adriano A

Purchased a used washer for $200 in early August, 2015. Washer worked fine for a few months. In November, [redacted] started to come loose. One day, when I pulled the [redacted] to operate the washer, it popped off. I tried placing the [redacted] back on and the timer unit broke free from the housing inside the washer.
I decided to call Almonte because my washer was still under a warranty. On the phone, the owner spoke to me as if he didn't believe me. He was short with me and kept asking if I had the receipt, which I did. When I arrived at Almonte, with the washer, he told me that the warranty wouldn't cover any damage that I had caused to the machine (keep in mind, this before he has even seen the machine). I assured him that it had not been mistreated and stopped functioning during normal use. He came out to my car to look at the machine. When he saw the loose timer, he insisted that he had "never" seen such a problem. He had me and my friend pull the washer out and lift it up onto his dock, rather than going inside to get a dolly to pull it up the ramp.
Once the washer was inside, he opened up the unit to expose the timer. He showed us a broken plastic tab that held the timer in place. He insisted that this tab could not have broken unless we used a large amount of force. I assured him that this was not the case. After we waited for fifteen minutes while he talked to his employees in the corner, he insisted he would have to call the timer company to check and get back to us Monday (it was Saturday). We left our information and awaited his call.
Monday afternoon, he called. He told us that we had broken the [redacted] and it was not covered by the timer company's warranty. Not only would he not fix the machine, but we needed to pick it up immediately because he would not hold it for us. I pointed out that I had not agreed to such a warranty. I had agreed to the warranty specified in our contract, which said absolutely nothing about these rules he was now trying to put in place. He argued with us, repeating his garbage story over and over. In the end, I was able to get him to hold the machine until the following Saturday.
When we came to pick it up, his story about what was broken had changed. Now he was talking about the [redacted], instead of the broken tab on the timer. He brought the washer outside on a dolly and left it on his dock. He insisted he was "sorry" but wasn't even willing to roll it down the ramp to our car for us. He immediately went back inside and left us outside to carry the washer down and place it in our car.
I have never experienced such poor customer service. Almonte Appliances sells poorly repaired garbage appliances and when it comes down to it, they will not honor the warranty that they guaranteed in their contract. I would absolutely not recommend anyone waste their time or money here.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
First they NEVER told me the charge of $35 at the store when I purchased the dryer and as, I remember clearly asking "does this have warranty" unwillingly he stated Yes, for one month. I then asked will you fix it if damaged within a month, which was rhetorical question but I just wanted to make sure and be clear,  he stated YES, there after nothing was said about charges verbally nor that it is on the receipt, I'm looking at the receipt and it is NOT legible, nor is the receipt sent to your agency. I can't read nor understand what it states below. If the dryer has warranty on the appliances what is the $35 fee for?  gas reimbursement? I live a mile or less away from this business. Warranty is warranty it should have been explained clearly or this situation would never have occurred.
