Dear Mr***,
I’m very sorry that you had damage to the windshield of your Ford Fso soon after we replaced itWe do provide a Nationwide Lifetime warranty for defects in the product or the workmanship for as long as you own the vehicleIf an object hits the windshield and damages
it, that is not covered by the warranty
Our representatives are trained to educate our customers on what is or isn’t covered by the warranty when they call to report such an issueWhen our technician inspected the windshield, there was evidence of a rock or some other object hitting the windshieldThe “chunk of glass” was evidence that there was an impact to the glassA true “stress fracture” would start from the very edge of the glass and would cause a linear crack but have no impact pointThere is no way to predict when an object might strike a windshield leading to either a repair or replacement of the glass
Again, it is regrettable that you incurred new damage to your windshield only a month after replacing itBecause new damage is not covered by the lifetime warranty, we will not honor your request to refund you in whole or in part for the windshield replacement done by another glass providerIf you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our Executive Service team at 1-866-212-

Dear Ms***,I’m so sorry about the damage to your bracelet and vehicle after Safelite replaced the windshield. You have been working with our Executive Service team to reach a satisfactory resolution regarding all the issuesA check in the amount of $has already been requested as a
courtesy for the cost of the damaged bracelet and for getting your vehicle detailed. We will also be paying for the upholstery damageYou have agreed to provide an estimate of the repairs and we will proceed from thereYou may continue to work with the representative that has been assisting you in getting everything taken care of.If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at 1-866-212-

Dear Mr***,
I’m very sorry to hear that you believe that Safelite is responsible for some damage to the roof of your Pontiac FirebirdIn reviewing our records, we do show that there was pre-existing damage to your vehicle and it was documented on the pre-inspection reportThe
technician took pictures of the damage as wellAttached is a picture taken of the roof of your vehicle that shows pre-existing damage
We did take responsibility for damage to the headliner of your vehicle but the scratches were already on the vehicle before the work was startedAlso, the locations of the scratches are not consistent with any damage that could have been caused by our technician during the removal of the damaged windshield or the installation of the new windshield
Again, I apologize for the damage to the headliner of your vehicleWe have already taken care of that issueWe are not accepting responsibility for any other damage to your vehicleIf you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Executive Service team at 1-866-212-

Petty Officer ***,
I’m very sorry for the issues and delays that occurred after we installed a windshield on your BMW Our records show that we have an appointment scheduled for today, August 9th, to correct everything under warrantyThe technician is scheduled to arrive
sometime between noon and 2pm and he will contact you prior to his arrival
It is our expectation that after today’s appointment everything will be completed to your satisfactionAgain, I apologize for the delays in receiving parts and getting the appointment scheduledSafelite does appreciate your businessIf you have any additional concerns, please contact us at ###-###-####

Dear Mr***,You may stop into any Safelite location during business hours to have a technician or manager look at the repaired areaYou would not need an appointment to have the work inspectedAs I stated previously, the fact that the repair held for years is a great indication that the repair was successfulRepairs are not necessarily a permanent fix, but an attempt to delay the need to completely replace the windshieldIf the shop indicates that the repair was not to the standards held by Safelite years ago, they will let you know how to proceedIf the repair is deemed to have been up to the standards, the windshield replacement would either require an insurance claim or the replacement would be out of pocket for youIf you have any additional question, please feel free to contact us at ###-###-####

Dear Mr***,Thank you for your patience as our legal team was reviewing your concernsIt has been determined that it makes much more sense to resolve this than go back and forth about the language in the Release of Liability. Therefore, if you could please provide a copy of the original estimate we will send you a check for that amount without the need to sign a releaseI regret that any previous copy of the estimate was not saved in our system and I'm unable to view itOnce I receive the estimate, the check request will be submittedPlease allow 10-business days to receive the check once the estimate is receivedThe check will be mailed to the address list on your Revdex.com complaint unless you specify a different mailing addressIf you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at ###-###-####.

Dear Mr***,I’m very sorry that you had water leaking into your Mini Cooper which apparently caused damage to your rear view mirrorIf you could assist with some additional information, we will be able to address your concerns appropriatelyThis is a timeline of events based on our
records. 10-3- We performed a windshield replacement on your vehicle 10-11-17 We were notified of a water leak and some parts broken during the installation 10-27-17 We replaced the windshield again under warranty and replaced a damaged partThere are no notes regarding possible damage to the rear view mirrorHad the windshield been the source of the leak, installing a new windshield should have corrected the issue 11-10-17 We were notified that you were still experiencing a water leakIn addition, you advised that your key fob wasn’t workingAgain, there was no indication of an issue with the rear view mirror 11-13-17 The vehicle was brought into your local Safelite location for another warranty appointmentAt that time, it was determined that the leak wasn’t from the windshield but from the roof moldingThere is no indication that any repairs were made at this appointment, only that we diagnosed the source of the water leakNothing is on record regarding the rear view mirror. 1-10-18 Our Customer Care team was contacted again and the call was referred to the Safelite manager for handling 1-11-18 We were again contacted and we were advised that you were seeking reimbursement for the replacement of your rear view mirrorYour contact information was provided to the Operations Manager to follow up.If you could provide the additional information requested below, we will be able to fully understand the facts and determine how best to proceed.Has the water leak been corrected? If so, what action or repair allowed that to occur and when was that done? Did the dealer provide any documentation stating that the windshield was the source of the water leak? Could you please provide a copy of the paid receipt for the rear view mirror repair that includes the cause of the damage? We appreciate your assistance in understanding and resolving the issue

Dear Mr***,I'm very sorry that you have damage to the windshield of your Toyota Yaris so soon after we replaced the windshieldI have spoken with our field management about the damage and I was provided with a picture of the damageThe manager has also been in contact with you about the
issueIt is very obvious from the picture that an object hit the windshield and damaged itThis isn't covered by our warrantyAs a courtesy, the manager offered you two optionsIf you don't want to file a claim with your insurance company, we will replace the windshield at a cost to you of only $The other option is to have you file a claim with your insurance company for the new damage and Safelite will absorb your deductibleYou would then pay nothing out of pocketIf you would like to accept either offer, please contact our Executive Service team at ###-###-#### or your local Safelite shop and we will be happy to schedule the replacement for you.It is regrettable that you have new damage so soon after your new windshield was installedWe appreciate your business and look forward to providing you with a new windshield soon

Dear Mr***,The response sent earlier today was in error.I have attached the original invoice for the windshield replacement performed on the vehicle that you purchasedThe original customer was *** Auto AuctionsThe warranty was provided to *** and is not transferrable to you with the purchase of the vehicle.Had we been able to inspect the vehicle and verify the existence of a water leak from the windshield prior to the work being performed by *** Motors, we may have been able to provide some assistance as a courtesyUnfortunately, we didn’t have that opportunityIn addition, the water leak was found to be caused by an issue with the fresh air intakeThe dealer sealed the connection between the duct and the air intake portA technician would not detach this when removing or installing a windshield.Because the warranty is not transferrable, Safelite didn’t have an opportunity to inspect the issue and the repair had nothing to do with the windshield; Safelite is denying your request to reimburse you for repairs made to your vehicle

Dear Ms***,I'm so sorry that you incurred a water leak after we replaced the windshield of your Acura MDXIn reviewing all the information, Safelite agrees that we should reimburse you for the installation and the work done by *** ***You will receive a release of liability to sign before we issue you a check in the amount of $The release will be emailed to you with instructions on how to email or fax it back to usOnce we receive the signed document, the check request will be processedPlease allow 10-business days to receive the check in the mailThe check will be mailed to the address listed on your Revdex.com complaint unless you indicate a different mailing address should be used.Again, I apologize for the issues and the inconvenience you have experiencedWe appreciate your business and your understandingIf you need additional assistance, please contact us at ###-###-####

Dear Mr***,Regarding the damage to the dash of your Dodge pickup, the basis for our denial of liability is that your dash was damaged beyond repair before our technician replaced the windshieldBased on the pictures taken prior to the technician beginning the work; there was severe damage, holes, cracks and the dash was in a brittle condition before the installationThe attached pictures indicate this damage which was likely caused by many years of sun exposureThis was also in the letter from our in-house legal counsel.Your analogy to a dent in your vehicle doesn't necessarily applyIf there is a dent in your vehicle and someone hits it and causes additional damage, the repair costs will increase and the responsible parties can be assessed a specific amount. Your dash was damaged beyond repair before the technician replaced your windshieldThe cost to replace your dash before we replaced the windshield is exactly the same as it is now, based on the pictures of the pre-existing damageAfter consulting with our legal department, our decision is not going to change regarding this issue

I am rejecting this response because: *** is not covering my claimThe Safelite technician at no point in time advised me to look over my vehicle or told me he didn't replace the hoodpins You pride this company to cover 100% of your worksmanship and it seems like advertizement If your company did not come out to "fix" my vehicle this would have never happened At this point I tryed to fix it the easiest way and my insurance no longer will cover the negligence of your company I would like the car repaired at no cost to me I'm not asking for anything beside this cost which would be incredibly larger if it involved another motorist If you are willing to work this out then I will settle this dispute If you can not settle this I will bring it to court, ive already contacted a lawyer if need be Lets resolve this in the easiest manner possible and just fix my vehicle
Regards,

THE LAST INSTALL WAS DONE ON 12-18-AND THE AGAIN THIS MONTH

Dear Dr***,
I am sorry that our attempt to repair the windshield of your Mercedes Cwasn’t successfulAs our technician advised you before beginning the work, in a small percentage of cases, the damage could crack out during the repairSafelite is not responsible for that occurring and there is no way to accurately predict how the already damaged glass will react to the repair processThe root cause of the damage was the object that hit your windshield, not our attempt to repair it
As a courtesy, the quote you received for the replacement of your windshield included $in discountsThe best price we are able to offer for your windshield replacement is $If you would like to schedule the replacement, please contact our sales department at ###-###-#### and reference quote number ***
Again, I apologize that the repair attempt was not successfulIf you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our Executive Service team at ###-###-####
