I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I have also received the refund as promised by the company.

I the [redacted] have contacted the customer again to see if we can resolve this issue between use. He took my call, and we talked about the miss understanding, as [redacted] was having use install a Brand New System at the time of the complaint. [redacted] after talking about the miss understanding came up with a solution for both of us that we agree would resolve the issue. The company offered to buy a 10 yr Extended warranty for [redacted]s new system we installed on 4/16/2015, to cover future repairs on his new system. I am happy that [redacted] and I could come up with a resolution. Thank you To [redacted]

Sent: Sunday, May 03, 2015 8:45 PM To: drteam Subject: Re: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Regarding Complaint #[redacted] By no means do I believe that [redacted] is working with me to resolve the issue as he states 1) When [redacted] stated that he wanted an invoice from [redacted], he also stated that he wanted [redacted] license number, because he believed [redacted] statement was slander and wanted to hold [redacted] liable.  2) [redacted] also knows that other firms would be hesitant to provide such in writing and do not provide such statements as standard business practice; they would be willing to provide the information only when issued a subpoena (and I have seen this before and knew exactly what [redacted] was up to when I heard him).   Furthermore I am not a man to withhold such information from [redacted] that [redacted]' position was that [redacted] was slandering One Hour.3) By no means was [redacted] communicating that he would be satisfied with a written statement.  When I had stated that I would "obtain the information in writing," [redacted] became more energetic, arguing against the notion that his service man had indeed torn through the transition insulation and convincing me that I should take no action.  I had became so frustrated with [redacted] that I had to hang up the phone on him. Thus, given that I hung up the phone on [redacted], how could he believe that he was working with me to resolve the issue?4) [redacted] questioned why the problem had not arisen sooner than discovered.  Please recall that last summer was very mild.  My electric bill was below 300 until September. When I received the bill for September in October, my bill was over $400.  Now I understand why and that was because of the flawed work by [redacted]' service man.  5) Since [redacted] was asking for the invoice with [redacted]' statement and that such a statement would need to be subpoenaed, he knew he was boxing me into only one course of action of [redacted].  Please note that I have not pursued [redacted] at this time. Through my employer, however, I am provided with a [redacted] plan where I can be provided a [redacted] free of charge.  If [redacted] wishes to pursue [redacted], then that can be made possible. Also for [redacted]' information the transition insulation had a firm outer layer and all the tears through the transition insulation were all originating back to the point of puncture by the One Hour service man.  If [redacted] wanted to claim slander, I am certainly willing to perform the same slander since I had examined the transition insulation myself. That force-through by the service man caused the air flow to become less laminar in flow to a more turbulent flow, thus causing more shear stress against the material and tore the material away, thereby covering the coil ([redacted]).   Furthermore his service men, who were at my home on the day I filed the original complaint, did not have much interest in discussing the matter, which I tried to show them (they were installing the new system as I had little recourse to get a new installation done post haste).  -[redacted]

So sorry but we will not be offering any different resolution than that already provided.  There is nothing more for us to do.  We provided a service, you accepted, we helped with a substantial refund on something you agreed to in writing and we got you cooling until you could get your leak issue fixed by replacing your coil with someone else.  We consider this matter settled even if you do not.

I The OPS Manager talked to Mr. [redacted] about the issue and come to find out that it was a short in a power wire, and we both talked about how it could have been a power issue that caused that short and not the Tech. We are refunding him the $129 and Mr. [redacted] is happy with the outcome, and we are...
