I called Alpha Services Thursday (short notice) that I had just sold my home in Warrenton and needed manpower to load out our bedroom home Friday MorningAlpha provided me a fair/great price for men to completeI was well informed of their schedule and was on time as discussedThey moved the furniture from my home and loaded out the moving truckMy wife and I commented several times how well the truck was loaded to protect our belongings! Job well done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their service to anyone

After speaking with the customer before I came to his home to perform any work, it was explained to him that for plumbing services, there is a flat fee for coming to look at or do any work at his propertyIn addition to the fee I also explained to the customer that if I performed any work within a two hour window that there would be no additional chargesThe customer complained that water was leaking by way of water going over the overflow tube inside the toilets tank and he wanted that to be fixedHe had me take a look at three different toiletsThe first toilet he told me that the chain that connected to the flapper was getting caught and preventing the flap from closing entirelyI took notice that the toilets handle was rusted out and needed replacing and the chain needed to be adjusted so I went to [redacted] and purchased the handle for that particular tank and installed itAfter it was installed the problem that the customer complained about was fixedI didn't notice any water leaking from the flap which was his initial complaintJust on the first toilet and drive to [redacted] was an hour from his allotted two hours for the serviceThe second toilet as he explained had an issue with water going over the overflow tubeAfter inspecting the tanks parts, I again didn't witness water going over into the overflow tube but I adjusted the float so that less water would fill the tank so that it was at least two inches from the top of the overflow tubeSo that there would be no chance of water escapingThe third toilet had a similar problem with the chain from the handle getting caught under the flap so I adjusted the chain and the was not any further flush or flap issues.I flushed each toilet several times to make sure that they worked properly before I leftI also explained to the customer that the toilets where extremely old and needed either the whole toilet replace or at the lease, a new tankAfter I left, I got four phone calls from the client within a minute time window, I spoke with the client after the fourth call while I was on another job and was informed that there was a guy from the water company that had been there and wanted to tell me where the water was leaking fromI then advised the customer to send me the guys phone number to my cell phone or email it to me since I wasn't in a position to write it down and he refusedThe customers recall of calling me several times and me not answering the phone since the last time that we talked is extremely inaccurate as I have NOT received and further call from the customer since he was supposed to be sending me the guys number.The customer is welcome to relay the information to me that he has if he would like for me to investigate his issues further.In closing, as I explained to the customer, the toilets and or bowls need to be replaced due to the age

Alpha Services did a wonderful job helping us move into an apartment They were on time, courteous, very careful with our belongings, and super nice people If you need help with a move, hire them!

Alpha Services packed my family's belongings in a POD excellentlyThey skillfully packed our boxes, blanketed/shrink-wrapped our furniture, and made sure everything was secure for our long-distance moveI highly recommend them for your move!

RUDE UNRELIABLE A WASTE OF MY TIME He rescheduled times He would say 'I'll call back in just a minute' and an hour later I'm calling him againMy fault for trusting himJust now, he wanted to reschedule for tomorrow I said I could rearrange my schedule to accommodate, but I needed to know that he would actually show up at that timeHe hung up on me I hope no one else has to go through this as it is unprofessional and completely unacceptable as a business practiceI am just blown over

I called Alpha Services on the morning of 6/after the moving company we had originally hired cancelled at the last minuteI spoke to *** by phone and he said they were on a job but would be available to help us move once they finished upIt took a little longer than originally expected but he stayed in communication with me and let me know when they would be arriving to helpThey showed up (*** *** *** ***) and were absolutely wonderful! They were extremely polite and professionalThey took care with our belongings and packed everything into the truck quicklyThey completed the entire move (unloading the storage unit, driving to our new home minutes away, and unloading the truck into a 2-story house) in less time than it took other movers to load the house into the truckWe were beyond impressed!
They were incredibly friendly and we had a great experience with themTheir rates are very reasonable and I highly recommend themWe couldn't have asked for a better experience

On November 3, our crew went out to provide moving services for the customerUpon completion of the services, I received a call from the customer stating that she needed a invoice emailed to herAt that time, immediately emailed the
invoice to the customerI then received another phone call stating that I needed to send the invoice again and that she didn't receive the last email I sentAt that time, I advised the customer that I had already sent the email and to check her spam boxShe called me back again and stated that she did not receive the email, so at that time I had my secretary email it for a third time to the email provided
So for a forth time I was contacted by email with a very vulgar message from the customer stating once again that she didn't receive the emailSo at that point since we had received several threatening messages to be harassed after we did everything that was asked of us, I decided to just send a written copy of the invoice to the addresses on file, so there were two copies sent out, one invoice sent to the address that we provided services at and one to the customers home address
While we strive to provide our customer with the best service possible, sometimes its impossible to completely please everyone
The customer wanted a discount after the work was completed after agreeing to a set amount based on our companies minimum time requirements and since the workers finished early she was trying to take money off of the original price, there was no discount given at the time and we believe that this is motivation for this action by the client

Very condescending and rudeCame over to help me move, and said they are doing us a favor by coming in to move that late so asked us to help them with the boxesWe did not mind doing that, but they just started making us do all the work and standing near the truckThey were rude and did not act as professionalsI would NOT recommend them to anyone

These guys were awesome Arrived a little after scheduled time, but called well ahead of time to let me know of the situation Job was done fast, neat, and clean Great guys!!!!!

I had the pleasure of using Alpha Services during my move from StLouis to ChicagoThe gentleman could not have been more pleasant or professionalThey were very timely and even warned me well ahead of time when we were getting close to our agreed upon timeThey took great care of all my belongings and they made the arranging of my furniture look easy in the back of the truckWould highly recommend to anyone looking not just for quality movers, but for quality people

I was referred to *** *** by a relative of mine to mount my inch T.Vin my basement I initially told my family member that I thought $was to much to pay to have a T.Vmounted but they stated that they didn't think it was to much to pay and that he does good work
On 8/10/18, my appointment was confirmed and *** another man and his daughter arrived at my house shortly after 8:p.m I took them to the basement to the location of my T.V *** *** asked to use my laboratory and I came back upstairs to use it also and grab my cellular phone I was upstairs less than minutes when I suddenly hard a loud crash on the floor I didn't say anything because I thought to myself, surely if that was my T.Vthat just crashed to the floor they would say something I went back downstairs and they proceeded to mount my T.Von the wall The T.Vwas not check before or after it was mounted I then asked *** *** if he could also mount the T.Vin my upstairs bed

I am happy with the scheduling and performance of the two gentlemen that were sent to my project They were very gracious and willing to do whatever was needed to get the job done right They stayed busy and did every project carefully and correctly They kept me informed if they found any issues so that we could work together to resolve the issues, instead of just covering them up The guys stayed busy, kept the work area clean and did nice work

*** and his team were enthusiastic workers and carefully and professionally handled a project that I needed help withThey completely disassembled a very large, custom playhouse for transport and then helped to put it back togetherI am very happy with the results

I hired him Monday to correct a plumbing problem, and he was suppose to correct the issueHe did not finish the job I paid him to doHe will not return my calls, and I am dissatisfied with his workI paid him $to do the job, and it is not correctlyIt's still leaking, and water is still coming out the toilet

Alpha Services STL moved our bedroom apartment on Feb They came out the day after I contacted them Fair price, quick service, would hire again THanks Alpha STL

I recently enlisted the services of this company for a Move on August 1stI contacted them several weeks prior, giving them full details on my move: Moving from a storage locker to a 3rd floor apartment where they quoted me at their standard 2-hour price of $130.00, matching their ad I came acrossI called again on July 30th in an attempt to confirm the move, but they were in the process of another move and I was told everything was confirmed for my move
I received a phone call the morning of my move where the employee asked for details of my move again (something we discussed during the first phone call multiple times) before hitting me with the line "Oh we didn't have the fact that your move is on the 3rd floor added in to the cost, 3rd floor moves are an extra $dollars." With my move hours away, there was no way for me to find a new mover, but I would have done so with haste if I had been given this information during my call on MondayReluctantly I agreed to the terms as I had to many things set in motion for this move date to reschedule with a new mover
As for the move itself, the movers arrived on time with men, which the owner proceeded to tell me that the extra $is due to the need of a 3rd man, but upon loading up my truck and reaching my apartment, the owner left of his workers to "Leave for a bit." So much for needing an extra $to bring a 3rd person, I guessThe move itself lasted hours, which I am thankful for, but the fact that they had workers for half the work schedule and still took longer than the TWO MAN TEAM that I had hired to move the exact same load out of my old apartment weeks priorA couple of my items were dropped in transport to my U-Haul/Apartment, but the damage was minorUpon completing the move the remaining workers from the 3-man team were forced to wait nearly minutes for their boss to return and pick them up
All in all, I am extremely disappointed in the level of service I received from this moving company and I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone I knowUnprofessional, below average work speed/quality and borderline predatory pricing practices culminated in a very poor experience overallBook these workers with caution and make sure you get an agreement to the initial moving price in writingGiving a star review feels unfair since they actually completed the job, but I would give them a if the system allowed
