At least three(3) door and window screens were either never delivered or the wrong size
When windows and doors were installed in August 2017, the installer said one screen had to be returned (the master bedroom) because it was the wrong sizeWe never received a new one nor an explanation from Alpha
We later found two screens (the master bath and the kitchen sink) were the wrong sizes also

Worst customer service and serious lack of quality NO ONE FROM ALPHA ever came out to do an inspection of quality of their 3rd party installers ...it all falls to the homeowner to find the issues The job entailed custom top of the line drwindows, doors (one glass door), and slidersFirst, the head supervisor wanted me to do a final walkthru outside at pm in the pitched black!! They inconsistently framed around new sliders on my lanai which I had to bring to the job supervisor's attention along with the following failuresThey installed then had to replace warped screen frames, many screens were not taught in frame, all the caulking yellowed terribly in a week and I'm still waiting a resolution, they cracked and re-installed marble sills, My painter refused to paint poorly done stucco on outside of new door which looked terrible and had to be redone, installers put dents in my lanai ceilings during install of sliders and then covered it up with window caulking (not right material) and never said anything...my painter found the cover up
My slider screens have come loose in just months Just a week ago a piece broke in window frame while cleaning (they are drop in type) and the entire window fell outThe window is still unusable I'm sure it will take months for that replacement part I've had supervisors at my house (after escalating multiple times) over course of months since install, one of which documented pages of unresolved issues and still no commitment on a resolution additional weeks later
I will also add that *** our sales rep kept saying given the customization and size of the job, "I only want the A TEAM TO DO YOUR INSTALL." Which apparently he says to every client and apparently they only have A team of installers!!!! Are you kidding me I clearly got the F team of installers I was promised a week install that took over months! We ordered the windows in February, they told us it will take up to weeks to install the windows, well they ordered the windows without requesting the city permit and the city changed the regulations for the windows
At first they lied to us saying they submitted the permit before they ordered the windows which was not true So they had to reorder some of the windows and wanted us to pay extra when it was their error
Finally they installed the windows on May 31, but when they installed one of the windows, the window cracked, so they needed to reorder that window, the main door was not installed properly and it is very hard to open and close
They told us they will be have to replace the window and the door its been almost months waiting???? We haven't pass inspection waiting for them They haven't event contact us to finalized the installation and finish the work
I will never used them they are not a reliable company I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM

We had researched and checked across Broward county with all recommended window and door companies, that had good reviews on Google, Yelp and we came across Alpha Windows, that were professional, accurate and very knowledgeable regarding the necessary glass and the doors we needed and its installationAfter meeting Tom, the sales representative, we were introduced to the owner, Danny, that was a pleasure to get his feedback and his experience and we decided to replace all of our windows and door with impact glass, as we were skeptical and were thinking to replace the current windows with commercial glass and place hurricane shutters to cover those windowsAfter checking in the local market for the best price, we asked MrDanny to give us a good price and he did, which it was less than any quote we had receivedThey handled plans, licensing, permits and all the necessary documentation to the City of Fort Lauderdale Building & Zoning

This is the only way I can describe my experience with Alpha Windows and Doors If there were a rating below F or less than zero stars, this company is deserving of it, as they are in a category on their own If you're considering replacing windows and/or doors in your home, PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW I strongly recommend you use any other company and avoid the utter agony that I experienced This company has no regard whatsoever for customer service People who work there are rude and show no concern for the client's situation Actually, it's worse because they have no regard for common courtesy, like returning a phone call or email, or fulfilling promises, or sticking to deadlines My nightmarish ordeal began almost a year ago in October when I contacted Alpha about installing impact-resistant windows in my apartment The job seemed simple enoughat least that's what we were told by our sales associate *** *** When *** met with my wife and me, we discussed costs and a timeline for completion Everything sounded great especially the projected completion date of around February - March Things were moving along nicely And then everything changed Delay after delay after delay Trying to get a straight answer from *** or anyone at Alpha was impossible! Then around March 2018, *** completely vanished He stopped returning our calls and emails To this day, we have never heard from him again! And this was our sales repthe person we assumed we could count on to keep us posted on status Over the next five months, I spoke to numerous people at this company but always got the same story They basically blamed the delays on the manufacturer and could not tell me when my job would be done Time after time, I was told someone would get back to me once they knew more But that didn't happen Instead, I had to keep calling them for news Most times, the person I was speaking to made it seem like I was bothering them I even had the displeasure of speaking with the owner on a few occasions I'm guessing he personally trains his staff because he was even more rude than his employeesA total ***! He made it perfectly clear that my business meant absolutely nothing to him When the materials were finally in, it just got worse Installers caused damage to the walls of the unitdamage that I had to repairand one installer even thought it was a good idea to drill something on the bed Naturally, the drill went right through and made a hole in my comforter Once the installation was done, several inspection appointments had to be scheduled because either the work was not done properly OR the installer was a no-show when the inspector came out In mid-August, the last inspection was done and the ordeal was FINALLY over Never could I have imagined back in October the nightmare I was in for I only hope my experience will lead at least one person to look elsewhere
At least three(3) door and window screens were either never delivered or the wrong size
When windows and doors were installed in August 2017, the installer said one screen had to be returned (the master bedroom) because it was the wrong sizeWe never received a new one nor an explanation from Alpha
We later found two screens (the master bath and the kitchen sink) were the wrong sizes also
I emailed *** *** the salesman who said he forwarded our complaint to customer serviceThis was December 16th

Purchased in early June 2017, told 6-weeks delivery They installed end of Sept They did not install it properly (missing caulk, screw covers and screens did not connect so bugs could fly between themCalled, e-mailed, sent photos They came out in Dec to put covers and caulk They told me they ordered the screens in January, I followed up (NO FOLLOW UP FROM THEM) I owe them about $ They call for payment but fail to finish the job They are now calling it a service issue and demand payment They brought the new screens and they are not correctThey should lock on the ends (so no one can push them open) and they lock in the middle I can't seem to get this fixed right I want to pay them for a finished project and get on with my life
Windows and door were installed in wood-rotted framing and had to be removed, structure rebuilt, and windows and door had to be reinstalled

The wood rot was discovered immediately after the installation, when property manager noticed a hole under one of the new windows in the concrete was covered up by window installers She investigated with a contractor and it was determined that the installation contractors deliberately covered up the hole with cement to cover up the exposed wood rot

Worst customer service and serious lack of quality NO ONE FROM ALPHA ever came out to do an inspection of quality of their 3rd party installers ...it all falls to the homeowner to find the issues The job entailed custom top of the line drwindows, doors (one glass door), and slidersFirst, the head supervisor wanted me to do a final walkthru outside at pm in the pitched black!! They inconsistently framed around new sliders on my lanai which I had to bring to the job supervisor's attention along with the following failuresThey installed then had to replace warped screen frames, many screens were not taught in frame, all the caulking yellowed terribly in a week and I'm still waiting a resolution, they cracked and re-installed marble sills, My painter refused to paint poorly done stucco on outside of new door which looked terrible and had to be redone, installers put dents in my lanai ceilings during install of sliders and then covered it up with window caulking (not right material) and never said anything...my painter found the cover up
My slider screens have come loose in just months Just a week ago a piece broke in window frame while cleaning (they are drop in type) and the entire window fell outThe window is still unusable I'm sure it will take months for that replacement part I've had supervisors at my house (after escalating multiple times) over course of months since install, one of which documented pages of unresolved issues and still no commitment on a resolution additional weeks later
I will also add that *** our sales rep kept saying given the customization and size of the job, "I only want the A TEAM TO DO YOUR INSTALL." Which apparently he says to every client and apparently they only have A team of installers!!!! Are you kidding me I clearly got the F team of installers I was promised a week install that took over months! Now the hurricane was in there BUT my issue was depending on who I spoke with they each gave DIFFERENT reasons for the delay even before the hurricane hitIf I could put NO STARS I would DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY Get your PGT WINDOWS INSTALLED ELSEWHERE WITH A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT USE 3rd PARTY INSTALLERSUse a company with a track record of proactive quality control and customer service It's not customer service when you have to escalate repeatedly to get attention

I contracted with Alpha on April 12,for new impact window and doors, and the windows and doors were not installed properly and/or were defective

We hired Alpha windows to install our impact windows in our house and also the main door
We ordered the windows in February, they told us it will take up to weeks to install the windows, well they ordered the windows without requesting the city permit and the city changed the regulations for the windows
At first they lied to us saying they submitted the permit before they ordered the windows which was not true So they had to reorder some of the windows and wanted us to pay extra when it was their error
Finally they installed the windows on May 31, but when they installed one of the windows, the window cracked, so they needed to reorder that window, the main door was not installed properly and it is very hard to open and close
They told us they will be have to replace the window and the door its been almost months waiting???? We haven't pass inspection waiting for them They haven't event contact us to finalized the installation and finish the work
I will never used them they are not a reliable company I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM

My experience of Alpha Windows and Doors was OUTSTANDING! We had researched and checked across Broward county with all recommended window and door companies, that had good reviews on Google, Yelp and we came across Alpha Windows, that were professional, accurate and very knowledgeable regarding the necessary glass and the doors we needed and its installationAfter meeting Tom, the sales representative, we were introduced to the owner, Danny, that was a pleasure to get his feedback and his experience and we decided to replace all of our windows and door with impact glass, as we were skeptical and were thinking to replace the current windows with commercial glass and place hurricane shutters to cover those windowsAfter checking in the local market for the best price, we asked MrDanny to give us a good price and he did, which it was less than any quote we had receivedThey handled plans, licensing, permits and all the necessary documentation to the City of Fort Lauderdale Building & Zoning
In October, we had scheduled the job to be executed on and about December and to our satisfaction, after signing the agreement with a small deposit, we got notified by a very kind, professional office manager from Alpha Windows and Doors that the plans and permits would be available in NovemberAt that time we scheduled the jobSeveral days prior to installation, a team of professional workmen came to our office and prepared and planned out the work schedule, the time and the positions of installation while our business was open and operatingThey has installed extra large hurricane windows and doors around our complete buildingThe job was completed and we were extremely happy with the quality of the product and outstanding workmanshipSeveral weeks after completion, they had returned to tweak, fine tune and confirm that we were happyWe recommend Alpha Windows and Door to all who need a professional, responsible and reliable company

I decided to use Alpha Windows and Doors for the second time because my first experience was smoothly and professionalMy elderly parents needed to replace their windows and doors so I decided to give Alpha a call; my parents were very pleased with the way the installation was handled, the installers were very respectful and professionalAlpha service was A+, from the price to the knowledge of the productDealing with elderly people is not easy but they were understanding and answer all their questions and mine as wellAlpha replace the old windows and doors and replaced them with beautiful hurricane proof windows and doors, they removed the old shutters my parents had and dispose of all the debrisWe didn't even had to worry about the permit because they took care of that as wellI have referred friends and family members and their are pleased with the job doneConstruction is not always easy but Alpha made this process as easy as possible

I am soooo very pleased with AlphaThe entire transaction, from the sales rep, customer service and the installers was handled with putting the customer first and foremostThey communicated with me on every step of the process, handled all the inspections, and other items that needed to be coordinated I used Alpha Impact Windows for hurricane impact sliding doorsI am a single G-ma and know I (and my yr old grandson) asked a lot of questions while watching the installation, however, the installers were patient and had no problem to explain exactly what they were doing, and whyThe installers set up plastic barrier walls to keep things in my home clean and, when they finished with the entire installation and clean up, I didn't find a speck of dustAll of the installation crew were very professional and organized When some bad weather looked like it was headed our way I thought finishing the install would have to be cancelled but the installer was prepared, he set up a tent like area that allowed them to finish the outside portion of the work during a heavy rainstormI hired Alpha per several recommendations from neighbors and friends that had used them in the past and I highly recommend this company
Impact windows ordered in July 2016, received in the company warehouse on/about August 10, with an install date scheduled on October 11, Windows delivered for install were not what was contracted so I lost an entire day of install trying to resolve the issue The windows sat in the warehouse for months yet no one ever inspected them to make sure the order was correct This has extended the time involved for the install costing me an additional days of lost work I am so angry and disgusted over the mishandling of this order This is an expensive project and should be handled accordingly Company management has made some attempts to calm me but extremely condescending I am sorry I ever dealt with Alpha Windows and would NEVER recommend to anyone
While the contractors are good installers and their sale person was very helpful they are lacking in the customer service department I would have to call to find out what is going on and would never receive a return call They didn't call us before two inspection and we had to turn the inspector away because we had other appointments wasting everyone's time
