On December 11, This Ford Econoline Van was stickfor storage, not moving, expired registration( See attached pictures) The pictures depict this complaint white van with a bicycle leaning against it and a rack behind it with lots of stuff insideThe registration which expired
on December 11, was located inside the van under contents of the vehicleThe Property manager request for Alpine to tow the vehicle and signed the ticket at the time of the tow Alpine Auto Recovery is contracted to tow vehicles from this property and does so in accordance with State Law as well as PUC Rules and Regulations When the Van was towed the Bycle was removed and Rack had moved and the Registration was now present in the rear window

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:I still haven't received the check (#2815) claimed to have been issued by Alpine Auto Recovery in the amount of $1,I wanted to give it a few days to see if I got it in the mail, but it's been business days and I still haven't received anything from them(As they are just across town, I'm not sure why it's taking this long.)If you wouldn't mind, please follow up with the company and ask them if they've actually mailed the checkThese people are quite tricky and although they claim to have "paid" the claim, that doesn't necessarily mean they have sent the check. I will let you know asap if I get anything from them. Thank you for your commitment to protecting consumers! *** ***

The reason only pictures were submitted is that is all the Revdex.com will accept This vehicle was towed at the request of the Property managerThis is the organization that the complainant should be contacting If we did not tow upon their request we would lose out job So I highly encourage the complainant reach out to the place it was towed from

I am sorry if you do not feel we provided a positive experience for you We were never contracted to perform the service I have attached the email and sound waves between Alpine and Allstate Roadside assistance If you had paid for the service we would be happy to reimburse however we will not be paying a $inconvenience fee

We are sorry that you did not receive serviceHowever we called the Motor Club (Allstate) in which called us to provide service The audio recording has been heard and we are waiting for a copy of this recording (could take up to a week) Our night time dispatch spoke with Allstate
about this service call, the dispatcher gave an estimated time of arrival to be to minutesThe Allstate dispatcher said she would call back if they wanted to issue us a Purchase Order (PO) for the serviceWe never received a call back, the Allstate dispatcher sent an email with no call backThe emails are not monitored unless needed for a known POThis was not an error on Alpine Auto Recovery, we were not issued the Purchase Order

The customers vehicle was towed from private property, Girard at Cherry Hills, because it did not have a parking permit issued by the community management. Community Management has requested that all vehicles without parking permits be towed immediately and without any warning. The
customers vehicle did not have a permit. As far as the damage the customer is claiming, we did not damage her vehicle. We use wheel lift and dollies and do not go anywhere near the door of her vehicle. The customer claims we damaged her vehicle by her door. It would have been impossible for us to cause this damage. If the customer had a parking permit, her vehicle would not have been towed. If the customer lives at the apartment complex, I'm sure signed a lease agreement. The lease agreement clearly states that all vehicles must visibly display a parking permit to park on the property

The customer in which paid has been sent a check to the address that was provided.

Complaint: [redacted]I do not accept the response of the business because they are continuing to be deceitful. notice they sent me pictures 1,3,6 and 8. The pictures with the bike on the side was taken months before when I had a flat tire on the van. It was not the same time as when they claim to have came on the 11th and stickered my van. On the 14th I spoke to a heavy set black man about my van when he and the driver were doing rounds in the area. They stopped me and my wife on belleview and Ulster street and ww spoke about my van and the white man who was the driver told me not to worry about my van. And just think if it was REALLY stickered on 12/11/15 why would they wait one month to tow it away. They put the sticker on the day they towed it. My neighbor had his vehicle towed the same day and he would've gotten his car back because they also failed to sticker his vehicle before towing it but his vehice is undrivable so he cant take it back.  I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This has been refunded to customer. Custer had cashed check.

We did not do damage to the customers vehicle.  Also, we are not required to give any type of warning or notice before towing vehicles at Girard at Cherry Hills if they do not possess a parking permit issued by management.  Also, the tow driver is not required to list his last name on the tow ticket, only his first, and he did, "Jason."  Asnfar as the female release agent working in the office, her personal situation has absolutely nothing to do with the customers vehicle being towed.  I'm not sure whybthe customer feels that her vehicle should not have been towed because of something that may or may not have happened to one of my employees regarding their personal life.  This was a ligitimate tow and done so in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Colorado State Public Utilities Commission.  The customer has already filed a PUC complaint.  I feel confident that if this tow was not warranted, or has been towed in error, or outside of thw rules and regulations, the PUC will advise me.  I've already responded to the PUC and filed my response with them in reference to her complaint.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/11/06) */
Customers vehicle was towed and impounded on October 30, 2015 at 12:12 am for parking in a private parking lot without a parking permit. Alpine Auto Recovery is the contract towing company for this property. We do not enter into vehicles that...

we tow. Theirs no need for us to get into a vehicle. Customers vehicle was towed with the use of a wheel lift style tow truck and dollies were used. This means all 4 wheels were picked up from the ground and the vehicle was transported to our impound facility. I would suggest that I the customer feels like the tow driver "Broke into" his vehicle, he should file a report with Law Enforcement so they can investigate the allegations appropriately. Like I stated above, we do not get into vehicles. Theirs no reason for us to get into a vehicle. When the customer paid to retrieve his vehicle from our impound facility, he provided an address on King Street in Denver. The customers vehicle was towed from an apartment complex in Unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado. If the customer actually resides at the apartment complex, he should have no issues going to the management office and getting a parking permit so that his vehicle is not towed again. It's absolutely ridiculous that the customer believes we would actually break into his vehicle. Alpine Auto Recovery services 1000's of communities throughout the Denver area. The tow drivers literally are call to call busy. The reason we were out at this community towing for no parking permit is due to the community manager requesting increased enforcement for vehicles not having parking permits. We also have pictures on file that were taken prior to the customers vehicle being towed that prove the vehicle did not have a parking permit.
