I am rejecting this response because: The tow truck driver did not giver proper signals or warnings of his approach to tow my vehicle from tight parking lot that would indicate he's even outside to tow my vehicle. Also towing my vehicle without making a good faith inquiry that my vehicle was parked more than hour. I was never provided written notice or signatures for authorized tow. When I paid for the return of my car after calling for a commerce city escort to view my car before fund transfer I was not provided with a completed authorization document. Considering I am the owner of the car. I mentioned damages to my vehicle to employee who have me an email to send three estimates when I file my claim. This was said in front of myself and officer. My car did not have these damages to it before it was towed. I recently got it out of shop and have paperwork to prove it. I want my car repaired. This company was careless. The name of driver on tow slip does not even list his last name just Jason. This tow was purely a profit tow. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The amount I submitted in the Revdex.com claim system was only an estimate and now after speaking with my husband, the actual repair estimate amount given to us by an authorized repair technician was actually $1,155.58 (please see the official estimate from esurance, which I have copy/pasted below).Therefore, $450 will not be enough to repair our vehicle and close this case. Please reach out should you need anything else. We still haven't received any direct communication from Alpine Auto Recovery regarding this matter.

This service was dispatched to Alpine Auto Recovery for an emergency roadside assistance. We were to perform a "Lock-Out" service for the Customer. Due the type of customer vehicle, a Mini Cooper, the Alpine Driver did not have the tool...

necessary to complete the lock-out service for the customer. The Customer was told that we would call the insurance company to request another driver with the specialized tools to unlock the Mini Cooper. The Customer was irate and believed that we damaged his vehicle. We did not damage the Customers vehicle. To satisfy the Customer, we sent the information to Progressive Insurance for an independent analysis to confirm or deny our liability. Progressive Insurance completed their investigation and found that Alpine Auto Recovery had not damaged the Customers vehicle. The Alpine Driver did contact the roadside assistance number to request a drive with the appropriate tools to unlock the Mini Cooper.

The representative of this business who was at the scene had the correct tools to damage the vehicle. The customer is in possession of photographic evidence as well as a video. To the customer's knowledge, the [redacted] analysis does not exist. If such a report does exist, it does not take into account the additional evidence that the customer has (find one such picture attached). The business had not, previously to 8/21/15, replied to the complaint or supplied a copy of any reports made.
The Alpine Driver did damage the vehicle. The customer followed all directions given by representatives of the businesses to clarify the concern including collecting estimates, making several follow up calls over the course of a couple of weeks (of which none were returned), and a visit in person to the office. The customer has not been irate but rather disillusioned and seeking a solution.

Mr. [redacted] has taken harassment action against our staff and has also followed the owners family home and placed a note indicating possible threat at their door. Harassment charges are being requested by the owner of Alpine Auto Recovery.
The damages were not done by Alpine Auto Recovery. Services were never provided, the driver arrived at Mr. [redacted] without the proper tools to perform service for his type of vehicle.
Alpine Auto Recovery has requested an independent investigation by it's insurance company and we are still waiting for the results.

On March 3, 2016 we sent a letter to E-surance accepting responsibility for the damage (see attached). We have been waiting to hear back on what the dollar amount that needed to be compensated to Mr [redacted].  So with this request for reimbursement of $450.00 it will be honored and closed in...

final resolution to this matter.  A Check will be mailed today to the address we were given by E-surance for Mr [redacted].
