Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The business takes no accountability for their actions and wants to blame othersThe owner of Alpine Glass, Jeremiah, called me today to accuse me of not trying to work things out with them prior to contacting the Revdex.comHe went on to state that it is for measurement errors to occur, and his workers reordered the glass and came back about a week later to install itHe never apologized for the inconvenience, and came across as though I should have expected this kind of error to occur, as it happens frequently, and should be ok with them simply inconveniencing me.He then blamed the tile setter for not putting enough grout behind the tile, stated he had pictures and demanded to know who the tile person was and wanted their phone numberHe didn't want to discuss that his worker was using the incorrect drill bit, too much pressure or that he was cooling it in a cap full waterAnyone can quickly google "how to drill porcelain tile" and see you need a diamond tipped bit, slow drill speed, and the most common mistake is too much pressure! You won't find anyone suggesting you use a masonry bit and cool it in water.Jeremiah continued to talk over me throughout the conversation, didn't want to listen, and treated me as an adversaryI explained to him that his phone call was not customer service oriented and I didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to meJeremiah began interrupting me again while I was trying to provide him the phone number of the tile company, so I simply ended the phone call.It appears we are not going to come to any resolve and I caution anyone from using this business if they want the job done right the first time around, or expect a level of service or professionalismThis company has neitherSo apparently I have to pay for their bad service by fixing the tile and missing more work time! I ask that a manager with Alpine Glass contact me to take responsibility for their errors, discuss the poor customer service I received and arrange a final resolution to the concern.

I am rejecting this response because: The business takes no accountability for their actions and wants to blame others. The owner of Alpine Glass, Jeremiah, called me today to accuse me of not trying to work things out with them prior to contacting the Revdex.com. He went on to state that it is normal for measurement errors to occur, and his workers reordered the glass and came back about a week later to install it. He never apologized for the inconvenience, and came across as though I should have expected this kind of error to occur, as it happens frequently, and should be ok with them simply inconveniencing me.He then blamed the tile setter for not putting enough grout behind the tile, stated he had pictures and demanded to know who the tile person was and wanted their phone number. He didn't want to discuss that his worker was using the incorrect drill bit, too much pressure or that he was cooling it in a cap full water. Anyone can quickly google "how to drill porcelain tile" and see you need a diamond tipped bit, slow drill speed, and the most common mistake is too much pressure! You won't find anyone suggesting you use a masonry bit and cool it in water.Jeremiah continued to talk over me throughout the conversation, didn't want to listen, and treated me as an adversary. I explained to him that his phone call was not customer service oriented and I didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to me. Jeremiah began interrupting me again while I was trying to provide him the phone number of the tile company, so I simply ended the phone call.It appears we are not going to come to any resolve and I caution anyone from using this business if they want the job done right the first time around, or expect a level of service or professionalism. This company has neither. So apparently I have to pay for their bad service by fixing the tile and missing more work time!

Yes, the first panel did come out the wrong size, our mistake but we fixed it promptly. The tile that broke did...

not have any mortar behind it as you can see from the pictures and this is why it broke. Lisa has been trying to collect a very past due bill from [redacted] for several months now. We left a message on 5/3 for Mr. [redacted] and finally got a call back on 5/17 where he said he was going to forward us the bill for the tile guy. I personally called [redacted] today after we received this complaint and asked him about the review. I told him that there was no mortar behind the tile like my guys showed him onsite and asked him for the bill from his tile guy for $250. He told me that he doesn't have a bill and hasn't had the tile fixed yet, I then asked him for the tile guy's name and phone number so I could call him to see if he can get it fixed for Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] refused to give me his number and then cursed me out on the phone and said I was treating him badly. We're more than willing to work with Mr. [redacted] to resolve this issue since his shower door was complete on 2/7 and he still has a outstanding balance of $1,530.76. We need Mr. [redacted] to contact us so we can resolve the tile issue and settle up his past due bill.
