Obviously you people are not comprehending where I am and what it is I do. I am in [redacted], [redacted] that is in Asia. I am a military contractor. There are no insurance claims or hospitals. I can't have all this documentation you want filled out whenever I please. Get it through your thick ignorant brains that I am in a war zone. I just want my money back that I had insured through Travel Guard. I provided the paper work that was required per Travel guards policy. I gave you all that the prescribing embassy doctor could give me. This isn't civilian life over here where I have access to these types of documents. When I rerun to America (that is the United States, where I am currently NOT at right now) I will be calling whoever I must. This is obsurd!

This response simply reiterates the previous statements from Travel Guard and does not address the fact that if I had taken insurance with the cruise line, this substantial $4,000 loss would have been covered, Either AIG believes they are only selling insurance to lawyers who read and co-reference the fine print in their policies, or they are intentionally misleading customers by claiming they cover "sickness" in their advertising and then finding ways to reject larger claims due to requiring paperwork that can't be obtained just a few days after the trip cancellation. I know this game is about denying the claim until they are threatened by a lawyer and then settling, but it is an unfair business practice. In plain language, Travel Guard is acknowledging that I am saying my daughter was sick. However, their paperwork is designed so that no reputable doctor will sign their name to it without legal representation. I am convinced that these are misrepresentation in advertising and unfair claims practices that amount to FRAUD on the part of Travel Guard / AIG. I will continue to pursue to this through government agencies in all States where Travel Guard does business, through consumer protection groups like the Revdex.com, and through making my voice heard on social media / travel sites until Travel Guard / AIG does what is right and honors my claim (in whole or part).Regards,[redacted]
I went in the location on Mcknight road with my dogs coat I needed some velcro sewn on it it was washed a day before some of my dogs hair was on it very very little the person behind the desk embarrassed me in front of other people by telling me it needed washed before they could do anything to it never quoted a price I will never go back!
TOTAL rip off and even worse customer service. Took a formal in to be shortened, when I picked it up and checked the work, they had literally taken a pair of scissors and poorly cut 2 inches of fabric off of the bottom, there was no sewing or taping or gluing involved- the job must have taken 3 minutes tops. They proceeded to try and charge me $50 for the alteration. When I refused to pay $50 for a kindergarten cut job I was told I would have to come back in to speak with a manager. After 30 min on the phone with the manager, the price was reduced to $26. So I went form getting royally ripped off to totally ripped off. Next time I will buy a pair of fabric scissors and save myself some time and money. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
Review: I went to have a pair of pants altered and the customer service personnel was very rude, nasty, arguementive and unprofessional. I tried on several occasions to contact [redacted], to no avail. I spoke with [redacted] to leave messages for [redacted], never received a phone call back. This occurred Saturday March 21st. Employees name [redacted]. The Manager that had just came in tried to justify why the Employee was so unprofessional. She said because [redacted] had been working all day, that's no excuse to treat a customer in such a manner.Desired Settlement: I would like to know that an employees mistreatment and unprofessionalism towards a customer does not go unnoticed.

Response:
The customer was upset because the Alterations Express employee could not find her name in the computer. We apologized for the problem and did our best to rectify the situation. We always promote good customer service within our company and whenever a problem is brought to our attention, it is investigated and handled accordingly. This situation was handled internally in this manner. We apologize again for the situation and continue to work hard to make every customer happy.
