Complaint #*** Consumer: *** *** We are in receipt of the consumer complaint filed by Mr*** According to our records, Mr*** has a free Classmates account which he created on March 19, Additionally, Classmates doesn’t offer a lifetime subscription membership
Our current subscription plans are months for $15.00, year for $or two years for $ As indicated by the notes in his account, Mr*** spoke to two different account representatives on April 4, During the last telephone call, Mr*** indicated that his credit card statement indicated that he was billed by Alumni.comWe believe Mr*** may be referring to AlumniClass.com which offers a $lifetime membership offerI have attached a screen shot of Mr***’ Classmates profile showing that he has a free account and a screen shot showing the AlumniClass lifetime membership offer for your review Since *** and AlumniClass.com are not the same company nor are we in any way related or affiliated, and are, in fact, competitors, Classmates is unable to provide Mr*** with any assistanceHe will need to contact the operators of AlumniClass.com for further assistance This information should successfully resolve this complaint. I am rejecting this response because:When you click on the page, it asks you if you want to join? Great, I figured if I wasn't satisfied I would let them know and get a refund, is the publicity worth the $40? What they are not telling you is when you get onto the first page, you find your school and when you click onto the page it asks about joining, and I just checked it again with the link below you cannot scroll up or down to read anything, and the only option you have is either to join and find information about your school or not joinI hope you can see the web site in question before they change anything?

Hello,Thank you for your concern. I understand that you did not receive the automatic confirmation email to let you know your order was placed and is processing. If you did not receive this automatic email, that indicates that there is a setting within your own email account that may be
blocking our emails or filtering them to your spam folder. We have not sent a tracking number yet as the order has not shipped (all orders are custom made after they are placed and typically ship within 7-days) but this is also an automatic email so chances are you will not be getting that one either unless you add our domain to your safe senders list. Hello,Thank you for the communication regarding this issue. I understand the customer is on the incorrect site and so a membership to that site is irrelevent and have no problems issuing a refund because of this. However, to clarify, the customer is claiming that we moved her without her
knowledge or permission and this is false. Our site cannot move a person's profile as the programing of our site won't allow us to move profiles from one site to another. The ONLY way a person can be listed on a certain website is if they join that actual specific website themselves. That being said, I have now issued a refund to customer and made sure both of her profiles were removed. when you first registered as you were listed in that newsletter as a new member. You are now completely out of our system, however, we do not have the ability to remove you from search engines that may have you associated with our site still.
