[redacted] Am Transmission provides warranty to most services that are doneIn this case Mr[redacted] does have warranty on the work performedWe will be happy to take a look at this specific situation solve the issueHowever, Mr[redacted] picked the vehicle up on January 26,He then made a call days later claiming that the truck was having electrical issues and it was turning offMr[redacted] was then asked if he can bring the vehicle in so we can check it outHe brought the vehicle in and the issue was correctedAm Transmission then called Mr[redacted] to let him know the vehicle was readyThe vehicle was picked up roughly at 4:30pm on January 31st, 2017.? Mr[redacted] claimed he paid $7,for a new engine and transmissionAm Transmission never agreed to install a “New engine”Am transmission sold him a re-built engine as stated in the invoiceAm Transmission is not denying any repairs covered under warranty, we will happily take care of the issue as long as it is a service we performedCustomer satisfaction is one of our main priorities, and we try to go the extra mile for our customers.? I.m still having the same problems with the transmission that I was having before they did any work on itI don't believe they ever totally rebuilt the transmission like they said they were going to

Mr.*** [redacted] came in on June 11,and he was concern about his A/C not coming out cold only cool airAm Transmission is not lying to customers and the warranty is stated on the invoiceA.M Transmission never denied the warranty that was givenThe customer decided go to another Automotive shop The compressor is rebuilt: it is the original compressor that Mr [redacted] had when he first came in the shopThe clutch a/c pulley does not come new when we rebuilt a compressor and Mr [redacted] told us that he broke the a/c pulley before came to AM Transmission This customer has warrantyA.MTransmission never refused to check the problem when the customer said the problem wasn’t fixedA.MTransmission installed a new a/c condenser with a new expansion valveWe ordered the compressor from [redacted] *** and they sent us the wrong parts and after they sent us the wrong one , [redacted] told us they don’t have the compressor for that car and we sent the compressor to get rebuilt and that is not hours worth of laborTo do the complete job is 7-hours labor Sincereley, [redacted] Manager

September 11, 15To Whom It May ConcernRe: ***I *** spoke with a customer on the phone advised Esperanza if work was done with us towing is free, on average from that location was about $45-$
customer asked me a price over the phone on a rebuild I let her know on that vehicle it was $for a basic rebuildI also explained hard parts & electrical work might go up.As for the add is $for some vehicles and prices varies per vehicle, year and different types as stated.We towed the vehicle & scanned it we put it on a lift confirmed there was a loud noise & hardly no more movement in the transmissionIt was so bad I thought it had a different problemAfter this I called Esperanza & let her know I found out the transmission had internal problems, and it would be $to pull & inspectThen I could give her an exact price on repairEsperanza gave me the approval to go ahead to attend & inspect itCalled her back we did our inspection & found a bad case on her transmission to lock up in reverse it was completely destroyedAlso had an oil leak on pan, needed a tie rod end, lower all joints, engine moments, & was leaking from different valve cover gasket, leaking oil also gave her price of 3,year warranty unlimited milesEsperanza declined she said she had no oil leaks I did confirm wet around pan, there was no rear main seal leakWe then offered to repair the transmission only at 1,to help her out we offered a year warrantyEsperanza was responsible to pay $for towing & removal of transmission & inspection.There is no leak on rear main seal but oil pan is wet.We only charged the customer $cashOur card machine was not in working order there fore we could not run the cardSorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.If you have any questions feel free to contact *** at *** or by mailThank you.*** ***

The reason why Mr*** came to AM
Transmission is because he had problems with his transmissionWe put the scanner to read the codesThese are the codes that were found; gear ratio error in third, fault immediately after a shift, underdrive solenoid circuit errorAfter the diagnostic we gave Mr*** an estimate of $for RDI (remove, disassemble and inspect transmission)The transmission was opened in front of himThe customer was told that the price is $for the rebuilt transmission plus parts and torque converterThis is an estimate that he approved after we disassembled the transmission in front of Mr***We explained that his transmission was completely destroyed and we let him know we needed to replace the hard parts, which would be an additional $The cost for the torque converter is $His truck had other problems, the rear main seal and oil pan were leaking and we gave him and estimate of $without labor cost until this point all job was approved by Mr***After we rebuilt the transmission and installed and filled up with transmission oil, we sent the truck to the dealership to reprogram the computer and they told us they cannot reprogram the PCM because it was damaged, and has another code from fuel level sensor and we fixed that without additional chargesHowever fixing that they are unable to reprogram the PCMWe called Mr*** and let him know that we have to replace the PCM and we gave him the cost for a new PCM from the dealership and Mr*** told us it was too much money and he can’t afford it .We helped him giving phone numbers to where he will be able to find a used computer because he told us he really need his truck soonWe explained to him before he bought the PCM that there is no warranty on used parts and parts provided by customersAnd also the dealership doesn’t give any warrantyHe called to get a price; he brought it and brought it to usWe took the truck to the dealership to reprogram and the dealership told us they cannot give us any warranty due to it is a used partWe explain that to Mr*** and he agreed. We did a Quick Learn and the truck was working correctlyAfter that Mr*** returned upset saying that the truck had the same problem and he did not want us to return the truck until the truck worked fineHe did not give us a time to fill out more information and left the keysWe inspected the truck and the technician called Mr*** and tried to explain to him about the problemsIt was the used PCM and Mr*** told him he doesn’t care about anything he just wants his truck back working fineThe technician called to Mr*** again to say that he needs to come so he can show him that the computer was not workingMr*** came and took the computer and told him he is going to get another one from the same place were he bought itUntil today he never return with another PCMHis truck is still here, he does not answer any of our callsWe cannot help anymore if he does not respond to us
