An excellent experience overall. Jose L is professional, thorough, and a good communicator. Our furnace was installed by Amber several years ago and I have continued to use them for annual maintenance calls. I highly recommend this company and their technicians, particularly Jose L.

Jose [redacted] did the annual service on my large and old gas boiler and, right afterwards, on my son's small, electric furnace. He was pleasant, informed, and efficient.
It was the first time he had come to my house, but he had no problem figuring out the antiquated system and readying us for the winter.

Amber heating made the process of buying and installing a new furnace very easy. The actual work was done in a very professional way. We are pleased with the final project.

I strongly recommend Amber and Jose [redacted] the service technician who came to our house. He carefully explained the repairs he was making and said he would mail me a brochure for a newer thermostat that I might want to purchase. We have always had very good service with Amber.

We had an excellent experience with this company. The service technician (James A.) arrived during the requested time-frame, completed the diagnostics within 60 minutes, and then completed the required repair within the next 60 minutes (less than 2 hours total). James was punctual, respectful to the property, provided knowledgeable options, and completed approved repairs efficiently.
The customer service representative, and service technician (James A) provided excellent customer service.

I will be honest - I didn't think an HVAC company was going to show me what it means to have consistently awesome customer service. Mike [redacted] was my tech this time around, and just like James made a great first impression by asking my permission to enter my house, put booties on to keep my floor clean and had a big smile on his face. He asked my permission to look at my thermostat and start working on the furnace, instead of just going right to work which was a nice touch. What really impressed me at the end of the day was that I made a mistake and not only did Mike not make me look stupid for it, but he taught me something and provided me with great advice which made me feel good. I had not changed my filter for my HVAC for nearly 6 months (not a good idea) and completely forgot about it, which was the root of the issue (doh!). Mike explained that replacing it every 30 days is a good idea, and that if I replace it the same day I pay my mortgage like he does, it will help build the habit and make it easy to remember. Finally, when Mike left, he took the time to make sure everything was clean, let me know there was a package on my porch, shook my hand and said goodbye.
Not only are the techs great - whenever I speak with service scheduling they are super pleasant, helpful and friendly. By accident one of service scheduling associates called me - I thought she was calling to let me know an earlier appointment opened up, but she hadn't meant to call me. She apologized profusely and sounded genuinely sorry she couldn't get me an earlier appointment.
Take note any company who provides customer service: these guys know what they are doing.

I am very pleased with the service from Amber Heating. I recently purchased a home that had a furnace that Amber installed and maintained. I had a technician (Jose L.) out today for a fairly routine service call. He was courteous and professional and he did a very thorough job. And he was careful to explain the system to me and all that he did. I am also pleased that Amber Heating takes the effort to keep in contact with you when you are waiting for service technician to make sure you know when to expect them to arrive. I will be sure to have Amber come out next year for our annual service check.

Tech from Amber was very professional when he showed up for my annual furnace check up. His work was meticulous and very neat. He cleaned and dusted the area within the furnace. He also verified all specification settings, and adjusted those that were out of spec. I was very satisfied with this service call, and would recommend Amber to other customers.

Amber is professional, reliable, punctual, and honest. Glad we found them. We plan on staying with them for a very long time.

I have used Amber Heating & Air Conditioning for about 20 yrs. I have had fantastic service from them. I have recommended them for years.
The service techs are great. The service tech today was Jose [redacted], who was so very nice and willing to explain things to a senior citizen.

We have had a service contract with Amber Heating for over 10 years and during that time every service technician has been professional, knowledgeable and friendly. For the last 3 years, Matt [redacted] has been working on the heating and central air maintenance. He is always punctual, very neat (wears foot covers into the house!), and courteous. Most of all, even with an aging system, he has maintained it so well, that I have never had to call for an emergency, even with the hot summer weather.
Julie is also very courteous and once I make the appointment, the process of bi-annual maintenance is seamless. Thanks, Amber, for continuing your excellent reputation and work over these many years.

James A., the service tech, responded promptly to our after hours call for help with a malfunctioning furnace. He identified the problem, which he explained clearly, and provided a temporary fix until parts can be obtained. He was courteous and efficient. Thus is our first experience with Amber, and we will be repeat customers.

So happy we have a service contract with Amber. Overnight the furnace stopped and indoor temperature on Saturday morning fell to 64. Jose came within 30 minutes and had the furnace running in 15 minutes. Thanks Jose! Thanks Amber!
