Today, I have spoken with Marvin (2357) and he had shared with us more about this programI have seen positive and negitive reviews pertaining to Anchor Home FinancialHas anyone had great experience with this company? Do they really help you with having your dream home? I am thinking twice about investing $keeping in mind that money is hard to come by
Hi my name is nettie w.and I pay America standard money and I never got a call from them about a house and they haven't refund my money back yet I am not happy about it
I called to request information about a house I saw on Craigslist and had failed to notice that the headline indicated that the house was lease to own instead of rent. When the operator realized that I wanted to rent instead of buy, he abruptly hung up on me. Thinking that the call had dropped, I called back and got the same person. He was very short with me and said, "You could do some of your due diligence." I told him that I thought he was being rude. He called me "unsensible" and said goodbye. When I called back to ask the name of the company, a different operator told me the name and again hung up on me. I have never in my life dealt with such insanely rude treatment from any customer service agent, and cannot fathom ever working with a company that treats potential customers that way.
I am so glad I do research before forking over money to shady companies. I had found the same thing in craigslist awhile back and the person on the phone was kind of shady.I kept asking for a website so that way I can check out what they was about and he wouldn't give it to me unless I paid the $199. I told him I didn't have it right then and there so he told me to call bk once he does so he can get me in on the program.
From then on I figured something was up. So do I reconmend it HELL NO..
TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!! My brother bought an American Standard heat pump and it has been a nightmare. This unit is not reliable and will keep the house cool and all of a sudden shut off. He was told to turn the heat on (yes in the middle of summer) and then to switch over to air after a while and that will start the system again. Ridiculous. My brother is a cancer patient and very sick. This is the last thing he needs to worrry about and they could care less. They are aurgumentative and will not do a thing to help him when their system is terrible. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
Was in the Market for a Home and my Wife stumbled upon this Ad saying we can rent to own a home that was a Foreclosure......well I Talked with a Gentleman on the Phone and he Expressed that it was a 100% Risk free and I would Receive my $200.00 Joining fee back after 90 Days and Not Sucessful. So it Sounded like a Chance to Get a Home with No Real Issues.....then came the website......Every Single House was Already Listed with a Realtor and to Top it off, Every Listing had Around the Same Price. Then I Decided to Coincide the Website with Google Maps and Zillow/Trulia....I started to realize most of what I was looking at was just random Air Pictures of Houses and Not Any That were Really Being Foreclosed on.....So I sent out 45 Letters, Which was a lot for the size of Town I moved to. ALL came back with No Forwarding Address and No Answer. So I have waited my 90 Days to Get my Refund and Have All the Necessary Requirements. Now Instead of a Simple Refund I'm Being told that I need to Send in the Letters I sent out and a Cancellation Letter. They will then Decide if I have Done Enough to get the Refund!?! I have all my calls from the 1st Representative to The last which She Just Hung up on me because I inquired about a refund. All Recorded. If I do not receive my Refund I will be During them for False Pretenses. This is just a bit more of a Legal Scam....Thats all this is.
Hello Sarah my name is Amanda, your positive review has helped me. My husband and I mailed out some letters February 16th 2015 and its been over 3 months that we have heard anything. I called American Standard back and they sent more listings so I am going to send out more letters to homes and repeated letters the previous homes. I pray this isn't a scam because it seems very real and exciting. well I m going to continue to wait and believe God that there is a home just for our family.
I followed all the directions to getting a refund. They have NOT responded. I will make further attempts at this.

I saw their ad on Craigslist and called to see where the house was they had listed. The person went through their sales pitch and said it would cost $199. I asked him what the name of the company was and said I would have to check up on them before I was willing to pay them any money. He got irate and told me to F-off and hung up on me. I feel sorry for anyone that would give these frauds any money.
I found a house for 25,400, and im paying 400$ a month and I absolutely love this service, I dont see why everyone else is complaining, I guess you must be stupid. its a simple and easy process to get into a home, and I've been in this nice home for a few months now and I love this service. I talked to the operator 2331 and he was very helpful and educated me about the program and now I'm living pretty while yall who complained and couldn't figure it out are living zhitty. AMERICAN STANDARD ONLINE got me my dream home.
My review will match the others. This company blasts their "listings" all over craigslist and literally scams people all day long. I called in anyways and the pitch sounds good. They say you have to pay $199 for their service to run title prior to moving in. They also said their customer service sets up the meetings between the homeowners. I explained I can run my own title reports and I need legitimacy to move.forward. the agent kept trying to breeze by my concerna and could tell I wasnt some fool thats going to be a sucker. This company should be blocked by craigslist, this company is ripping off people all day getting their hopes up for something that is not real!!!

I found a few houses on Craig's List and called to inquire about them. The first woman I spoke with asked me some questions about if I wanted to rent or rent to own. I answered I wanted to rent. She said that it'd have to make double to triple what the rent was going to be in order to be able to move forward. I told her I make double, then I was hung up on. Thinking the line disconnected I called back and spoke with another rep. He asked me and told me the same things. This time he let me know there were two houses in my area and how much they were, then proceeded to try and get my credit card information to pay the 199$ fee. I told him id call back bc I needed to research "American Standard". It sounded sketchy from the beginning.
In June 2016 I contacted American Standard Online for assistance in searching for a home in the Rockingham County, VA area. I paid them $200 for assistance and received a few emails with listings. The listings I received were to homes that people swore were not up for sale or in a foreclosure status. Once I contacted the company ASO, they said the clients were lying and I needed to send the letters per mail. I again did so and got all negative responses back. I told ASO I wanted a refund and they said I needed to wait for 90 days and then apply for the refund. Its been 90 days and now they refuse to give me a refund because I threw away the letters that were returned to me! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ITS A BIG SCAM!

I called into the customer service center and they said it can take up to 30 days for the homeowners to respond. Most of the pictures that we saw were not even on a house, they were in a field a ways from any house. Now, I called their customer service line of [redacted]and it is no longer in service. Their new number of [redacted]is not accepting calls, and now I am supposed to contact them through email? I will say this is a fraud.
This is a total scam. The listings that they have was 4-5 years old in my area. On top of that they told me that if I was not satisfied at any time then I could get my money back, this is not true. I have to wait 90 days before I can even call to get them to hear my complaint for the return of my money. I spoke with them just this morning and even though they mis-represent themselves and the product they were not willing to return my money. Fooled me and I lodged the complaint with them then that this was a scam. Note though they would not give me an additional person to talk with about the situation he just kept saying I had to wait 90 days and that they were not responsible for the information that is on the website.
Getting hung up on must be a trend with this company. Terrible customer service, obviously a scam. Craigslist should definitely block their ads. This "company" is not legit.

American Standard online is not a good company they cheat you out of your money

American standard operates out of Santa Barbara CA and Goleta Ca continues its fraudulent practices under another name. Same scam however.
