Ordered from them and received a specific # of days for manufacture and ship date (specific dates)They missed this by more than double the timeI also sent emails to their customer service department, neither of which they responded toWhen I called to ask questions on both, a customer service manager told me both were "out of his control" and he "didn't know"

I went online to go to blinds to go, I have ordered from them before and I was very pleased with there serviceI mistakenly clicked on Blinds.com and got American Blinds so I thougt I would get a quote from them wile I was on there sightI ordered color samples that are freeOn the sight there a place to put your email to get notified about sales so I put my email in there thinking this website was safe, I had given blind to go my web address and was happy to receive there mail, yesterday my email had alot of spam of all sortsI went down every one of them and unsuscribed from thenI was worried what I did wroung to get so much spamThe only website that I never used was American BlindsI went on there website and found there email policy an it refered to other offers from other websites, I canceled that and any email that they would send meI called them today and complained about how the could do that and be so sinister and sell coustomer's emails to other companys she did not deny that they do thatI said I was going to report them to the Revdex.comI also said I was going to the Federal Goverment, I beleve it's the Federal Trade Commission

For many years I have ordered shades with no problemsThis time, I ordered for living room and bedroomWhen the shades arrived the living room inside mount fit perfectlyThe inside mount shades for the bedroom were manufactured 5/and 3/inch too narrowWhen I spoke to customer service they blamed us for the measurementsWe used the same method to measure for the living room and had a perfect fitHow could our method be incorrect for the bedroom? They offered me 35% off buying new shadesI asked for a supervisor to call meWhen he called, he was not worried about losing a customer and offered no help at allCustomer satisfaction is not offered

WE CONTACTED AMERICAN BLINDS VIA PHONE AND EMAIL REQUESTING CONFIRMATION OF PRODUCT INFORMATION FROM 2 PRIOR ORDERS BEFORE WE PLACED THIS ORDER.
WE FOLLOWED INFORMATION PROVIDED BY AMERICAN BLINDS CUSTOMER SERVICE TO A "T."
We placed this order after confirming more than once the item information to ensure we would have an IDENTICAL order to the rest of the house.
We will only accept the offer of 50% off if the original order of $568.65 is COMPLETELY credited. What began as a dream to have blinds in every window of my house has now become a miserable nightmare.
We have emailed and called trying to fix this issue. Email went unreturned.
We do not feel like valued repeat customers. Very sad that someone would have the audacity treat another human being like that. Insult has definitely been added to injury. We made the effort on more than one occasion to do our due diligence to make sure the order was input correctly, because the information you provided was not correct we should not be held responsible for your error.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me only when I actually see the refund on my statement.  I attempted to donate today, but the center was closed because of the 25 degree below zero windchill and the blizzard conditions. Driving is extremely treacherous and many, many places are closed.  I will try again on Saturday. We are supposed to get three more inches of snow tonight.  Seriously, my intentions are honorable -- I cannot use the wallpaper so I will donate it -- please just refund my purchase. I will send a copy of the receipt as soon as I can, but I am not going to risk life and limb in these conditions.
