[redacted] Your phone call was reviewed and the agent did say measure from where the top of the blind to the bottom of the blind will beThat measurement will include the head rail track to the bottom of the vaneTherefore, the vanes will be shorter than the height ordered, as that height must include the headrailAll product heights include the head railWe have advised you that you can re-order the blind at our 20% discount, or if our Web site is having a sale on this product, you may be able to save more than that when re-ordering.All my best,Sherri ***www.americanblinds.com

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ** *** and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me because I did in fact receive a refund However, I wish Sherri would have read my original message saying that I had already refused deliveryAll I wanted to know was next steps after refusing deliveryInstead, she just kept saying company policy, and how I cannot return it, but I already did! Now what? The fact was that I had already refused delivery, but Sherri didn't address that fact. Instead, she kept telling me company policy after the fact. I wish she would have READ the message and given me next stepsTelling me I can't return the merchandise, after I already did, was poor customer serviceAll I wanted to know was, how to proceed after I refused deliveryBecause of all this back and forth, and such aggravation, and terrible customer service, I cancelled my $credit line with Home Depot, and am now going to LoewsPlease put your policies online next time, so it is in plain sight! Please tell the sales people on the phone to let customers know the policyThere was no disclaimer on the website at all, and the sales person on the phone didn't say a wordThere was no disclaimer that I could seeGood by Home Depot, hello Loews! Hi ***I am very sorry to hear that your vertical blind did not arrive at the size you expected it to arriveI can certainly understand your disappointment.When you read the measuring instructions for a vertical blind, it states that for outside mount height, you need to measure for the entire
height you want to be coveredTherefore, the height will include the headrailSo the height is the overall height of the blinds: headrail + vane lengthSo, when ordering a height of 82", the vanes will be shorter than 82" because that height includes the height of the headrail track.Measuring or mis-ordering errors are not included in our Satisfaction GuaranteeWe can only offer you a 20% discount to re-order the vertical blindYou may find better discounts on our site when we run promotional sales! Please consider watching for those sales to replace your blind at a lesser cost.I do understand that no one likes to pay for something twice due to an error, but we provide all instructions needed to help you order correctlyI am truly sorry this happened.All my best,Sherri ***www.americanblinds.com

This is still not a satisfactory resolution.As per the phone conversation: You stated that you wanted the blinds 1" wider than the trim on each side and 2.5" above the trim at the top. You even mentioned that the current blinds were hanging above the trim and he advised you to measure from the top of that blind to the bottom if you liked that height.That is exactly what I measured - the BLINDS! The louvers (slats) I measured were 82", that is what I orderedThe person I was on the call with specifically did NOT say measure from the track to the bottom of the blindsYour website regularly offers sales of more than 20% off, so why are you only offering me 20%? I would like a refund of at least $to go toward a new set of blinds

The wand length you received (24" without the eye hook--26" with the hook) is the shortest wand the manufacturer has available. They simply do not have wands shorter than that. We can offer you a cord tilter mechanism that you can replace your wand tilter mechanism with. It is an easy repair, and it will take less than 10 minutes per blind. The other option is to cut the wand yourself.Please let me know if you would like to replace your wand tilters with cord tilters. We had not heard from you after that time.We are happy to have that one shade remade for you.
