I was presented with a beautiful German Shepherd puppy recently who apparently was sickShe had diarrhea and vomiting, so she was taken to my vet Tests for worms & lungs came back negativeTook her back to vet and advised us to go to a hospital for further testing & hr careShe was admitted & tests revealed [redacted] -she was treated extensively for days, with more testing doneHoping to save her, her kidneys continued to failWe spent thousands of dollars on her, the worst part, watching her suffer & euthanizing herShe was only 1/months oldI understand that there are so many others who have purchased sick dogs from this store & they are all puppy mill dogsDogs that are treated without regard for their health & well beingNo one should ever go through this

Purchased a week old puppy from the [redacted] mall location in [redacted] Returned her days later after meeting with MY vet...hoping for a "WELL puppy" check up Unfortunately that was far from the case After numerous xrays, and blood drawn and feces checked.........this poor lil baby had [redacted] in MOST of her lungs When I looked at the xrays there was nothing but white (fluid) My vet gave me an "UNFIT for sale" Also mentioned she myst if had it for quite sometime My family was devastated Of course when I returned her with my $vet bill and requesting my refund....the manager, [redacted] , wasnt there and no one else could refund me So the clerk got [redacted] on the phone, she TOLD me to come back the next day...Wednesday, she'd be there til Of CORSE when I got there at 8, she was gone Apparently she had a stomach virus So today, Thursday I WILL be getting my funds back I NEVER EVER got any of my dogs from a pet store THIS is why Terrible terrible Oh and besides paying a fortune, my kids are heartbroken and have not gotten satisfaction They obviously take care of their customers the way they take of these poor pups

I have a dog who is extremely L highly contagious and infectious due to a [redacted] which adversely affect the health of him I am unable to get any information from the store at which I Purchased I am on able to get in touch with the district manager Annmarie man C [redacted] I am also unable to get in touch with Elliot G [redacted] I want full reimbursement for my sick animals as well as my veterinarian bills also covered I was hung up on by the person who works at the store in the [redacted] the animals are sick there they are not thoroughly looked at or treated well the conditions are poor and they obviously do not have any care in the world for these animals otherwise I would not be hung up on repeatedly

My fiancee and I purchased a puppy weeks ago from this locationWe were verbally told that the puppy was in good health and had received all shots except for [redacted] We took her to her first vet visit-which we HAD to use HUNTINGTON ANIMAL WELLNESS- according to the papers we signed, which at that point was fine for usThe visit was supposed to be completely free as per the warranty Then the vet told us she had TWO [redacted] and had to be treated with [redacted] which were supposed to be FREEThey cost us $ When I asked why, they told us to call the storeWhen I did, the sales person, who sold us the puppy, admitted he had only been there for a few months and was still new to the storeWhen I told him that was no excuse, and that we wanted to know what they were going to do about it to help us, he rushed me off the phone saying "ALL PUPPIES HAVE A PARASITE RISK, I HAVE CUSTOMERS, HAVE A GOODNIGHT AND HOPE SHE FEELS BETTER" then hung up When I spoke to the [redacted] - she apologized and told me that to help us out she would help us enroll our puppy in a friends daycareShe never called back and never answered my calls since that promise Then we find out that since we did a finance option, we are technically leasing her and the price that was told to us and PROMISED NO PENALTY FEE'S if she was paid off early, and we were only paying $a month until we paid her off at $1537; by the same inexperienced sales boy, we find out a $puppy will now cost us $by the [redacted] companyWhen we spoke to ***- the only help the gave us was to RETURN "THE DOG" This is our family member, and yes we have only had her days, but she's family already- we love her DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS- PLEASE, NEVER USE AMERICAN DOG CLUB THEY LIE, GIVE INFORMATION AND HAVE INEXPERIENCED SALES PEOPLE SELLING THEIR PUPPIES

She became ill within a few days of taking her homeShe was weeks old when we got her, within a few days she started to excessively cough to the point of chokingNot only did she have this cough, but also had blood in her stool
I bought her on Monday September *** and on Friday the vet diagnosed her with pneumonia and sent her home with numerous medicationsShe also was given additional medications for a parasiteSince September *** she has been back and forth to the vet each week and has been on all kinds of medicationWe even took her to the ER one night because the cough had gotten so bad, to the point where she was practically choking

They sell sick dogs there my dog has kennel cough which went straight to pneumonia they then tell me to bring the dog back so they can sell it to someone else there manager and owner think they can talk to people however they want these people shouldn't be allowed to own a dog let alone sell them

I bought a Akita puppy from American dog club last week a couple of days later I take him to the vet and the vet was in disbelief when he seen the puppy front legs he told he can't believe the American dog club sold me this puppy for with his front legs like this so the vet called them and they called me and told me bring him back and pick another puppy so I went to there massapequa store and picked out another Akita puppy and bring him home we fall in love with this puppy again and now he is very sick not breathing properly won't eat acting lethargic I'm so mad and upset I want to call newsday and news please if someone with knowledge can direct me what to do
