They sold me a very sick Siberian Husky I took her to their Vetenarian-Townline Vet in Hauppauge and even though she was supposed to have a health guarantee and free Vet visits I had to pay several times They gave her a "clean bill of health" just as the days were up She was still very sick with worms I took her to another Vet and it cost several hundred dollars to finally get rid of the worms she had when I purchased her Their vet should us paperwork showing the worms were no longer there When I showed to to the second vet the labwork they said the fecal sample was never sent Each business just covers the others lies

This issue was resolved immediately. Denise was informed by Breeder and Company who had all documentation that her breeder to her puppy was indeed Cynthia H[redacted]. Cynthia also contacted her to let her know. She was reimbursed under Article 35D of the New York State Law. I have spoken to Denise and we...

have resolved any miscommunication she might have had.

My fiancee and I purchased a puppy 2 weeks ago from this location. We were verbally told that the puppy was in good health and had received all shots except for [redacted]. We took her to her first vet visit-which we HAD to use HUNTINGTON ANIMAL WELLNESS- according to the papers we signed, which at that point was fine for us. The visit was supposed to be completely free as per the warranty.
Then the vet told us she had TWO [redacted] and had to be treated with 3 [redacted] which were supposed to be FREE. They cost us $280.
When I asked why, they told us to call the store. When I did, the sales person, who sold us the puppy, admitted he had only been there for a few months and was still new to the store. When I told him that was no excuse, and that we wanted to know what they were going to do about it to help us, he rushed me off the phone saying "ALL PUPPIES HAVE A PARASITE RISK, I HAVE CUSTOMERS, HAVE A GOODNIGHT AND HOPE SHE FEELS BETTER" then hung up.
When I spoke to the [redacted]- she apologized and told me that to help us out she would help us enroll our puppy in a friends daycare. She never called back and never answered my calls since that promise.
Then we find out that since we did a finance option, we are technically leasing her and the price that was told to us and PROMISED NO PENALTY FEE'S if she was paid off early, and we were only paying $143 a month until we paid her off at $1537; by the same inexperienced sales boy, we find out a $1537 puppy will now cost us $4337 by the [redacted] company. When we spoke to [redacted]- the only help the gave us was to RETURN "THE DOG".
This is our family member, and yes we have only had her 14 days, but she's family already- we love her.

Purchased a 9 week old puppy from the [redacted] mall location in [redacted]. Returned her 2 days later after meeting with MY vet...hoping for a "WELL puppy" check up. Unfortunately that was far from the case. After numerous xrays, and blood drawn and feces checked.........this poor lil baby had [redacted] in MOST of her lungs. When I looked at the xrays there was nothing but white (fluid). My vet gave me an "UNFIT for sale". Also mentioned she myst if had it for quite sometime. My family was devastated. Of course when I returned her with my $600 vet bill and requesting my refund....the manager, [redacted], wasnt there and no one else could refund me. So the clerk got [redacted] on the phone, she TOLD me to come back the next day...Wednesday, she'd be there til 930. Of CORSE when I got there at 8, she was gone. Apparently she had a stomach virus. So today, Thursday I WILL be getting my funds back.
I NEVER EVER got any of my dogs from a pet store. THIS is why. Terrible terrible. Oh and besides paying a fortune, my kids are heartbroken and have not gotten satisfaction. They obviously take care of their customers the way they take of these poor pups.

Review: After Buying a puppy from them for over $2000 I took it 4 hours later to the Vet and the vet said the puppy was not ready for sale and the puppy had some serious health issues.

I called the store and after getting transfer from one person to another the costumer service person told me that they can't do anything and my money wont be refund even thought that in the consumer law says they have to refund my money if something happens within 14 days. I had the puppy for less than 12 hours

I read all the bad reviews about this store and I didn't believe it

If I could give these guys a negative ten I would, one star is way too good for them.

They do buy their dogs from [redacted]. It does not matter if the breeder has a AKC License, they are very easy to get. None of the breeders he buys from are certified by their own BREED SPECIFIC ASSOCIATIONS. My niece bought a Rottweiler from these clowns and the so-called breeder breeds 10 different dogs from her construction company office site. She is not registered or certified by [redacted] Club nor the [redacted] Club. As matter of fact when I spoke to them they confirmed that the breeder is known to be a [redacted]. The [redacted] of this establishment is arrogant enough to deny all this and says he gets his dogs from great breeders, YOU SHOULD BE ARRESTED, you are a criminal. All your dogs have parasites and kennel cough which is a common problem for puppy mill dogs, not to mention the problems they come with. We will go to all extent of law to make sure you are shut down.

My brother took our shipoo here with a groupon for grooming and they cut her eyelid. This place place is horrible and abusive towards dogs as you can see from the other reviews. In my opinion this PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. THEY DON'T DESERVE TO BE OPEN AND HAVE NO RIGHT TO NOR ARE THEY CAPABLE ENOUGH TO HANDLE ANYONE'S DOG.

Review: On 7/**/15 I purchased a male Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from Snuggles Puppy d/b/a American Dog Club [redacted]. The owner ELLIOT G[redacted]. Purchase price was $1765.15. I had questioned his breathing and told he was in "perfect" health. I was told Dr. Alexis B[redacted] DVM, [redacted] license no. [redacted] signed off and shown a Certificate of Health.

On 8/**/15 he had to be brought to [redacted] and admitted. He was lethargic, not eating and gasping for breath. He remained there for four days. Finally 8/**/15 he was discharged. On 8/**/15 he had to be readmitted. He was not eating, losing weight, lethargic.

On 8/**/15 after settling him in at [redacted] I drove to [redacted] and spoke with Rob the manager. I explained he has been hospitalized more than we have had him. He told me a woman named Kristie handles all their Customer Service.

After several attempts to reach her, I was promised a call back after she spoke with owners that Tuesday. She never called back even after multiple calls updating her.

Our puppy had to stay two weeks hospitalized. He has [redacted] and was tested positive for [redacted].

On 8/**/15 our puppy was discharged. I asked for all medical record and x-rays.

On 8/**/15 he went into a seizure. Three weeks and he still was sick. This time I did not take him to "their" vet but mine. A complete blood work up was done. His [redacted] is four times the normal limit.

In NY State you MUST be a "licensed" veterinarian to own a veterinarian practice. NYS Board of Veterinary Medicine has no record of him being licensed. In addition, I have sought out two former employees. One of Animal Wellness. The other of Snuggles Puppy d/b/a American Dog Club. Ira Nierman is an investor of American Dog Club.

I have contacted the breeder. It is a puppy mill yet they falsely advertise on their homepage they only get puppies from USDA licensed professional breeders.

My puppy has ailing health. I am told he may be [redacted]. He was unfit for purchase. [redacted], and according to the medical records marked [redacted].Desired Settlement: Purchase price of puppy is $1765.15.

Out of pocket vet bills $120.60 and $225.47.

Review: I purchased a puppy on May **, 2015. The ADC gives you 5 years free VET services with a purchase. I took Penelope to their VET within 48 hours due to excessive mucous and coughing. Their VET sent us home with antibiotics. I called their VET numerous times in the next 48 hours to explain her condition was not improving and in fact worsening. I was advised by them that it was normal and to wait for the medicine to start working which could be a few days.

Disagreeing completely I decided to take Penelope to my personal VET. She told me before the initial chest XRAY my puppy had pneumonia and that there was absolutely no way she developed it after we purchased her. One lung was completely full and the other on its way to the same condition as predicted once the XRAYS came back.

She has been on medication and a nebulizer since that day. (also medicated prior from the 'free' VET they offer)

They will only cover the cost of my puppy's bills up to her purchase price unless I bring her to the VET they endorse. I just had to leave her again with my VET who is top rated in the country and I do not and will not trust them to suggest another doctor.

The ADC acts as if I bought a couch rather than a living thing which I've watched get better and relapse. I have spent nights awake with her as she gasps for air. They want me to bring her back to the VET they chose who misdiagnosed and prescribed wrong medication and pushed off another visit until we "let the antibiotics start working".

I have far exceeded the cost of my puppy and will most likely double that in the next few days due to the relapse and still have not even received so much as a call or an apologetic employee's call. I tried to contact the breeder online with his name and address and it seems as if he does not even exist.Desired Settlement: I would like the ADC to cover the charges incurred since day 1. I would like them to also make sure before they sell a puppy to someone that they know its medical issues and/or stops misleading their customers just to make money.

Review: I purchased a dog from this business on 11/**/2015. That night we got the dog home and she had a terrible gagging cough. The next day we took her to the Vet recommended by the store and they started her on medication for kennel cough. In the waiting room was another woman who also bought her dog from the same store the same day and her dog was also there for kennel cough. I called the store and they told me that what the dog has was typical for dogs and this does not make the dog unfit for sale. The office gave me the medication and took a stool sample from the dog. The following Tuesday, I was called and told the dog's stool tested positive or a parasite and that she needed to start medication for that. The dog took the kennel medication for 10 days and it started to get worse. I took the dog back to the original vet when the cough started to get worse and the dog wasn't eating well and being lethargic. The vet prescribed me a new antibiotic for 10 days. I kept the dog on this medication for a few days and she was throwing up, getting constipated and had no energy. Finally, I took the dog to an Animal hospital on 12/*, they gave me yet another medication for the dog to take for the kennel cough and recommended she see the Internal medicine doctor for a possible trans-tracheal wash since non of the antibiotics are working.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my money and the out of pocket fees for the trips back and forth to the Vet.

Review: I bought puppy from this business the day after Thanksgiving. I took the puppy home and she was lethargic and not eating or play ing. We immediately brought her to their vet as we were told and the vet dismissed the illness and gave the sick puppy vaccines. The next day I brought the dog vack to the vet and requested a chest xray and labs as the puppy was having breathing difficulties. She was then diagnosed with [redacted] and kept at the vet for a week. She was able to come home if I drove 2 hours a day for a week back to the vet for neb treatment s and shots as well as home meds. The pet store was made aware about the sale of the sick dog and the status of progress for day one. The store said they would only cover up to the purchase prise of tge dog and the bills are my problem. So I said keep the dog and give me my money. They then agreed to send me to another one of their vets which is 2 hours away. After 2 weeks of in hospital the vet sent the dog home with pneumonia shown on 3rd xray..with meds and home neb treatments. The dog had acute breathing problems and was taken again to the vet. I want my money back.. the food and bed and cage returned. My family is devastated over the sick dog. The 2 vet bills have been almost 4 thousand in 5 weeks. I can not afford to care for a sick dog. The vetc reports they don't get paid they just wash the bill in hopes to get my business. In turn they are cheap in treatments and do not care for the dog properly.I would like my money back and a chance to take the dog to an unbiased vet and get the dog the treatment it needs.Desired Settlement: Money back for dog and all dog related items purchased
