Mr [redacted] also sent an email to our Board of Directors on December 18, 2016, which was forwarded to me for resolution on December 19, I issued a refund to Mr [redacted] 's original order due to the package being lost in transit and sent an email to Mr [redacted] to apologize for his experience and asked him to please contact me for assistance with new order placementMr [redacted] called me the afternoon of December 19, and I replaced his order with the same promotional pricing and expedited shipping to ensure the package is received in time for ChristmasThe package is currently in transit with an estimated delivery date of Wednesday, December 21, 2016, by the end of the dayI also advised Mr [redacted] he may contact me directly should he need assistance in the future

After research we’ve verified that the gift card issued wasa fair market value for the items mailed to AEOAmerican Eagle Outfitters addsmanufacturing tags to all products with the year and month of manufacturingPerthe tags associated to the jeans mailed to our corporate office, the jeans wereabout 2-years oldAny merchandise received associated with a quality issue, theitems are mailed to our quality team in NYC for research/testingOur quality teamdetermine that the damage associated with Mr***’s garments were not aquality related issue, but a result of wear and tearThe team noted the jeans were all different style women’sjeans, from three different vendors with damage in the same areasTheydetermined the damaged was caused by women’s heels getting caught in the samearea of the jeanAs a result of these findings we are unable to replace the jeans
