Review: I was involved in a car accident and the American Family's insurance adjuster just trying their very best to slow down the process and pay as little as they can.

They insisted to have the collision center to use used pars from junk yard on my 3-year old vehicle which was purchased brand new and never had any damages. They even try to replay the bumper lid with a back up camera with just a regular bumper lid. (an old used part, which they have to repair before put it on my car)

The car was hit really bad and the corner panel got damage and the collision center insisted to replace it but the insurance does not agree. They also intentionally lied to me to say that the collision center was willing to repair it instead of replace it, which is not true. They keep pushing to settle the repair at a very low price and

They do not respond to my calls at all. I have to call over 10 times to get a hold of the claim adjuster, who was really rude to me by asking "what do you want now?"Desired Settlement: I demand a fair settlement on the repair work.

Need an explanation from the management as how their representatives can talk to me the way they did, rude, and keep telling me the lies.

Need an apology.

Review: On June 28th, July 1st, July 10th, and July 20th 2015, our basement completely flooded with raw sewage that flowed up through the floor drain and covered/ruined the basement. We contacted American Family Insurance, who initially stated we did not have sewer damage protection on our policy. We discussed this with our new insurance agent because it was never offered to us separately, and we believed it was in our policy. The agent followed up and found proof our previous agent never offered the option to us, and American Family Insurance agreed that due to this, the underwriting department would have the coverage added since the beginning of our policy, which would of course cover the time when this issue occurred. Great.

Then we filed our claim, and someone from the claims department visited our house for just a few minutes and was not thorough in his inspection, brushing us off since the coverage hadn't been added to our policy yet. He took a few pictures inside and outside. Later, we received a call that our claim had been denied because they said the pictures taken outside looked like water had come in under the basement door, and they would not cover damage if any water had come into the basement that way. However, American Family Insurance cannot prove IF or when any water may have gone under the door. We have pictures and video of raw sewage pouring up out of our basement drain, a third party witness who was in the basement at the second occurrence, and a letter from the sewer district stating the damage to our basement was due to a blocked sewer main.Desired Settlement: We want American Family Insurance to honor the sewer damage coverage and pay for any expenses resulting from the sewage damage to our basement that the sewer district will not cover, including, but not limited to - depreciation cost the sewer district is subtracting from amount they will pay us, cost of bringing basement up to code before it can even be refinished(we would not have to bring it up to code if it wasn't ruined in the first place as it was grandfathered in), and any additional costs required after we receive payout from the sewer district if needed due to new discovery of damage, additional work needed during remodeling, etc.

Review: We purchased a Homeowner's policy on 11/27/12 for $583.00 which we paid. then we were billed for $704.00 on 12/3/12 and could get no explanation for this. Then we were billed for $79.00 on 1/4/13 for increased limits which we did not authorize. They sent us a bill for $212.50 & said we would cancelled if we didn't pay the minimum so we sent a check via certified mail for the minimum amount of $102.50. We want our original coverage limits put back to where they were when the policy initiated, which is our right. We have been overbilled $212.50 and we feel that this is a scam being perpetrated and we are Senior Citizens on a limited budget. We can verify all our claims.

Review: We have signed up with AMFAM on 4/19/14 for car insurance the policies were created and accepted by both parties, full amount of $953.76 was paid at the time of sign up.

On 4/22/14 we have received a confirmation of policies in effect.

On 5/5/14 received a letter that our account will be going a 3rd party (LexisNexis Consumer Center) review to ensure we have proper coverage.

On 5/14/14 we have received the letter stating that AMFAM is no longer willing to insure our cars and gave a date of policy cancellation of 6/18/14 with refund check of $226.50 attached.

on 5/19/14 we have received the letter about the second car but without the refund check.

On 5/23/14 a statement was mailed to us that reflected that we owe AMFAM a $370.40 for the 4/19/14- 6/23/14 and apparently there is a change in policy coverage.

I've placed the call to the insurance agent [redacted] Wagner (8473599488) to resolve the billing issue as we already have paid 953.76 for the entire coverage term, I had no success getting to [redacted], and after 7 tempts and several voice mails I got a call back from his receptionist she stated that she will review the policy and have [redacted] call me back. This is the last I ever spoke to my agents office as no more calls were returned to me.

After waiting another week with no response from AMFAM agent I called corporate office to resolve the issue with billing I've opened a billing dispute case with [redacted]. in billing department x77554 and was promised an explanation and escalation of the arose issue.

The explanation was that AMFAM decided to raise the premium rate due to the ticket I've had since last year (remind you this ticket was received before we signed up with AMFAM).

On 8/28/14 credit collection services have sent us a letter stating that we owe $370.40 case # 05054279555

On 9/4/14 I've called AMFAM corporate billing again and spoke to Renee in accounting who felt reluctant to give me the ID or the extension for identification, I've tried to explain to Renee that our policy was canceled by AMFAM and we already paid in full amount, and that we got the check for 226.50 and there should be no other charges. On which she responded, that the policy was rewritten and the new rates are now in effect. Which I stated that no policy is in effect as it is terminated by AMFAM on the date of 5/14/14.Desired Settlement: AMFAM to drop collection actions against us and remove the $370.40 from collections as we do not owe it.

Review: I received hail damage on July 27 2014 to my truck. On August 2nd 2014 I took my truck in to be evaluated for damages. The American Family Insurance claims agent I dealt with was [redacted]. She asked me what the amount of the loan was that was left on the truck. she proceeded to look over the truck for damages. When [redacted] was finished she issued me a check for $2332.23. That amount was half of what I told her I owed on the truck. I thought that the amount of the check was a little low for repair and replacement. I then took the truck to two different body and repair shops. They both estimated tthat the repairs and replacement damages of my truck were just over $5000.00. I then tried to get a hold of [redacted] several times to no avail. I then took both of the estimates and the uncashed check to my American Family Insurance agent, [redacted]. She informed me that there was nothing she could do and would not take back the check. She told me that I had to deal with [redacted] since she was the original claims agent. I have tried again to contact [redacted]. I have gotten no response.Desired Settlement: I feel that American Family Insurance should either pay for the repair and replacement damages to my truck at the lowest estimate, $5093.00 or to issue a check to myself and the loan holder of my truck to pay it off.

Review: This agency has sent my former company vehicle insurance account to an outside collections agency. First off, I had never received any notice of a balance due, other than an invoice a the end of my policy date to renew the policy. I had sold the vehicle I had insured with this agency on December 15, 2013 and called into the agency to have the policy cancelled since I sold the vehicle. The woman I spoke to on the phone advised me that she had cancelled the policy and would be mailed out a final invoice due to the fact that the policy had auto renewed a few days earlier. I was fine with that, because I would have owed that money and had no problem paying it. After I didn't receive anything in the mail, like many other people, I didn't think about it. Then I receive a collections notice in the mail regarding that account. I did not receive anything from the agency after I spoke with them and cancelled my policy. All I received was a collections notice. So obviously, not only do I have to pay what I owed on the insurance policy for those few odd days (which was no problem), now I have to pay extra fees associated with the collections agency. I even went in and spoke with the lady in charge of the insurance agency, and she even told me that she would be back in contact with me. I have never heard from her since the day I left her office to discuss this matter with her. Al in all, I do not believe that American Family Insurance Agency would appreciate any of their agents representing their company in this manner. Nor do I ever intend to refer anyone to her agency for services offered. I will make it a point to steer people away from her agency since this is how they chose to operate their business. I am just going to pay the collection agency the money, even though it is not right, but I do not want this to be a blemish on my credit report, just because their are people out there that chose to conduct their business this way. I'm just simply warning other people of the business that goes on there.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $32.75 that I had to pay due to the Insurance agency sending this matter to a collection agency without even sending me an invoice that I could pay. I don't even know how much my final payment to the insurance company was, because all I have received, is a collections notice from a third party collections agency with a total payable to the collections agency. This policy was for Commercial Vehicle Insurance to: Four Seasons Handyman Services, LLC

Review: An unfortunate event of auto theft happened to me on September 10, 2013. I should have been adequately and properly insured based on what was told and sold to me, but have disturbingly found this to be untrue. There are questions concerning error and/or omission in the writing of my policy. The vehicle symbol, the number used for determining my vehicles class, value and my policy amount (as well as many other factors) had abnormally been modified. I am also having problems resolving my claim due to unfair, unreasonable, and inconsistent valuation practices for determining my vehicles actual cash value. I am being delayed now over 2 months on the settlement of this claim. I have attempted to handle this claim internally with American Family Insurance including: agent, claims, management, and consumer affairs, but to no avail, no resolve has been reached.Desired Settlement: I believe coaching and counseling should be given to those involved in writing my policy. I believe my claim should be addressed and settled based on what was intended and sold during initial purchase of the policy.

I have a homeowners Policy with AmFam and I filed a claim in Nov 2014 due to Hail damage. The Co. denied my claim which their Rep which was sent out - stated the roof was damaged due to hail & should be replaced because repairing would make it worst. After calling back from a recent storm in April which further damaged my roof more, Amfam told me I had to open a new claim because the rep was no longer with the company. Opening new claims will only harm my insurance credit rating. They finally sent out a adjuster and he agreed to repair shingles in over 100 places which will make my roof look like a animal with spots. After disputing the repairs, I was told then, my policy had recent changed which 60% of a roof had to be damaged which 60% was determined by AMFAM. I have a 4 sided roof and I had shingles missing all over each side causing leaking and a neighborhood eye sore. I asked my agent when did my policy change and they could not provide a notice. Please do not sign a home or any policy with this corporation because i've been stressed since the 1st call with no resolution but to repair mother nature's damages on my own because AMFAM will only patch your damages.

On August 13, 2012 our house was shot as we were told neighbors were out target shooting. A sheriff’s report was filed but no tickets were given. We contacted our Home Owners Insurance Agent [redacted] with American Family the next day. He stated that he would send out an adjuster to see what they could do.

Adjuster [redacted] came to our home and stated we had ‘matched siding’ insurance and he would need to take a piece of our siding to see if they can match it for the replacement. He contacted us a few days later and told us they were not able to match the siding and he would need to come out and measure the entire house for siding and we were to get es[redacted]ates. We received three es[redacted]ates and [redacted] Roofing was the only one in their price range and he wanted to know if we were we OK with them and we agreed.

We contacted [redacted] Roofing and was told that due to winter coming on he would like to wait until Spring and we would need to contact him April 1st. We contacted him April 1st and he brought out samples of siding. From that point on we ran into multiple issues with [redacted] from [redacted] roofing and multiple times contacted [redacted] for either assistance with [redacted] or to change siding companies. [redacted] stated we had to stay with [redacted] and were not allowed to make change contractors even though he was not getting the job done in our timeframe.

As we were ending the year we continued to try to work with [redacted], we tried several [redacted]es to contact his boss to try to get this situation taken care of. When we never heard back from him and was getting nowhere with the adjuster we contacted our agent to see if we could at least purchase the siding and get paid for that since our [redacted]e was running out. We were told by our Agent that he had talked to [redacted] and there was no reason we would not get an extension for our siding to be replaced due to all the issues he knew we had with our contractor.

The end of the year came and they declined the extension for another company to put on our siding. We contacted Insurance.MO.Gov investigation to file a complaint against American Family Insurance and to get help with getting our house sided per our insurance since we were now without a large piece of siding plus a hole due to the shooting. The person I spoke with stated even though I had multiple text and emails from the contractor, which [redacted] requested from us. We were told that this was strictly ‘he said – she said’ and due to this it was not enough evidence to go against American Family. We have no choice now but to pay out of pocket to side our house unless we can get some assistance from you regarding American Family.

We were told we had one year only to get our house sided by American Family and it is not their problem the contractor didn’t fulfill his part of the bargain. That is why we contracted the adjuster and his boss multiple [redacted]es because we knew we had to change contractors because we were getting nowhere and needed their guidance and OK to switch companies.

We contacted an attorney and were told American Family should be held accountable for payment and should have allowed us to hire another contractor to get the job completed. She stated if it had been any other insurance company she could write a letter and it would be taken care of but due to the size of American Family in Missouri, we would win a judgment over them but they would extend it several years and by the [redacted]e we got through, it would cost us four to five [redacted]es what it would originally cost us to side our house. She stated we would end up losing money with the court costs and her legal fees.

I contacted the Supervisor at Insurance.MO.Gov investigation and she stated the only thing we could do was to report them to the Governor of Missouri, even though you would probably just send it back to them because that is their job. She stated she knew of no way to resolve this issue because she didn’t think there was an issue to begin with. This is the agency that is supposed to hold our insurance companies accountable for the tax payers of Missouri. She stated they felt after their investigation that American Family did as they should have but we received no assistance from them and were not allowed anyway of changing contractors. We are still without a large piece of siding due to American Family Insurance and we believe they should be responsible for replacing our siding. As of now no one is holding them accountable. As our lawyer stated if it would have been any other insurance company in Missouri there would have been a thorough investigation instead of it being swept under the rug.

Sincerely,

Review: My husband, [redacted] and I have been a customer for several years with the American Family Insurance company. We received a letter in the mail on 4/10 informing me that our home insurance policy is being canceled on June 11th for the following resasons: the location does not meet the requirements and there were two claims: one on 3/21/2014 - Lightening hit our home and destoryed the computer, TV, router, etc. the amount was $1,160. The second claim was on 2/20/2014 - strong winds tore 1/2 of the roof from a stall and the amount was $558. A couple of weeks after this claim was filed the agent, Linda Frazier called inquiring how far my closest neighbor lived from us. I asked her what does that matter? She said she had no idea but the underwriter was asking. I told her that closest one is about 500 feet (more or less) from our house and the next one is located about 1/8 mile from our house.

When I spoke with Linda today she told me she knew the company was trying to cancel our policy when she called to inquire on our closest neighbor and she's been fighting with the underwriter trying to stop the action because it isn't right to cancel the policy for two small claims when we've paid in much more in premiums. I told her I was concerned that she did not let me know at that time. She said she had hoped to have the issue resolved without us ever knowing about it because she did not want us to worry. She told the underwriter not to send the letter but she did.

We've paid in several thousand dollars in premiums over the past few years, much more than these two small claims add up to. We've never been late on paying the premiums. I thought that is why you carried insurance so you had protection/coverage when your property is damage and you need to have it fixed.

Also, if there was a location issue, then why did they accept our premium payment for all of these years and then cancel us after our claim on 2/20/ 2014? Finally, about a week ago we received a letter from the agent informing as of the policy renewal date of June 11 the MO Amendatory Homeowners Endorsement (END.54D MO ED.3/13) will be added to our policy. This endorsement clarifies, reduces or eliminates some portions of the coverage. Also, on this date the agent will remove the Environmental / Personal Damage Coverage Endorsement from the policy and will no longer cover bodily injury or property damage from pollutants casued by an insured. I find it strange the insurance company would cancel the policy notification of this addition...Desired Settlement: Insurance Company should not be allowed to cancel a policy for legimate claims on the policy for damages that fall under policy protection. Since our home does not meet their location requirements, they should have to reimburse us for our premiums paid in during this time since they initially approved our home for coverage

Review: I am a retired widow with a 2006 Toyoto Solara and 1996 Dodge Ram truck. I do very little driving and usually keep the truck in storage on the insurance policy. On 2/24/14 I cancelled my auto policy with American Family Insurance because my premium went from $43.03 in January to $96.23 in February. On 2/20/14 I spoke with [redacted] (local Agent) and told her I was not happy with this kind of premium and she should change the truck from liability to storage. On 2/20/14 she left me a voice message which I still have saying they dropped my premium to $74.53 a month for February, March, and April. On 2/24/14 I called [redacted] and told her to cancel my auto insurance as I purchased it somewhere else. Today I received a past due bill From American Family Insurance in the amount of $79.69 ($2.69 for the Solara and $76.80 for the Dodge truck). I called their corporate office and they said this was what I owed from 2/14/14 to 2/24/14 since I cancelled the policy on 2/24/14. I don't understand why they took it back to 2/14 since it was due 2/22/14. The total Dodge bill for 6 months 11/22/13 to 5/22/14 was $159.60 and now they bill me $76,80 for ten days after I cancelled with them. The $76.69 for 10 days is more than I was quoted for the month which was $74.53. I really think they should credit me $79.69 and if I owe them anything it should be for 2 days, 2/23/14 and 2/24/14.Desired Settlement: credit of $79.69

Review: I usually have great things to say about American Family Insurance. I have had American Family for over four years and have had great customer service and a great satisfaction with their services. Here recently I have been very unsatisfied. I have a renters policy and auto insurance with American Family. I called American Family on 1/16/2014 and asked if I could be placed in a hotel room for a couple days due to the lack of having no heat. I have two small children and one with medical issues. I told customer service that it had been two days now and I am on a long waiting list. That it could take another couple of days. I was told I had to be assigned an adjuster to inspect a home that isn't even mine? I was also told then depending on what the adjuster says then I could have a hotel room? Let me tell you that takes more than two days and by that time I would have heat and two sick children. I had also called a couple weeks prior due to not having water for a couple weeks. We had negative temperatures (-40) and my water line busted. I had to shut all water off to my home. I had called American Family then and got the same response. Any other time I have called American Family I was offered a hotel stay; whether it be because of water, electric, or etc. You can look at my file. I'm very displeased. I have tried to talk to a supervisor on these occasions and told there were none to talk to.Desired Settlement: My renter policy refunded or credited to my account for the past two months I have paid and my renters canceled.

Maybe even canceling my auto insurance as well.

Review: At the beginning of June 2015, my garage was in good condition. On June 15th the bricks on the front of my garage began to collapse, I filed a claim that night. Prior to that there was a lot of rain and bad whether that may have contributed to the problem. Stash Property Restoration came out and did emergency removal of the debree that fell as well as removed my vehicle from inside of my garage. Stash sent me an invoice of approximately $1,200. Stash hasn't been paid yet and they have informed me that they were going to put a lean on my property, and that my account was going to be in collections. It is my insurance companies job to make sure that things like this don't happen, it their job to represent me professionally and make sure things are handled financially. My adjusters name was [redacted], and her managers name was [redacted]. I have emailed him about this situation. It cost $6,600 for my Garage to be repaired. American Family Insurance sent me a check for 2,143.57. The check sent to me is not enough to cover the cost of repairs on my garage. Because of the state of my garage the items inside have been damaged. I sent both invoices to [redacted]. I have yet to hear from Mr. [redacted]. A contractor told me that the bricks and the limestone should've been saved, because the bricks weren't saved the price of repair has increased.

Claim Number : [redacted]Desired Settlement: I was told to submit the invoices to [redacted], so that they could reevaluate my claim. I want Total coverage of my property damage. I would also want Stash Property Restoration to be compensated for their services.

Review: First thing I had a break job done by NorthWest Tire In Dickinson North Dakota. The Back left Tires and rims came off while Driving east of Willistion ND, on Highway 1804. at the time I was driving between 60 and 65 miles an hour, had I semi truck behind me, and I had a semi truck in front of me, and a semi truck coming at me. I was also on a large hill with guard rails on each side of me. When without warning both back left tires and rims came off, I swerved into the left lane almost hitting the on coming semi truck head on. There was no way to pull over I had to maintain my current speed other wise the tuck behind me would of hit me, and there where many trucks behind the one that was behind me. My truck is a welding truck, and I carry two bottles of oxygen, and two bottles of acetylene. So if I was to cause a pile up, my truck would most likely explode taking out everything within at least thirty feet of me if not more. So my first concern was to try and find a safe place to pull over with out putting the lives of anyone else in danger. When I got past he guard rails I came to the first spot I could pull the truck off the road. ( highway 1804 east of Willistion ND has no shoulder). so I wanted the back of the truck as far off the road as I could get it, because that is where the oxygen is kept. I went past the turn off and quickly put the truck in reverse, and attempted to back off the road. and as soon as my rotor touched the unpaved pull off my truck sank completely, and bottomed out, and the front halve of my truck was completely blocking the east bound lane, and trucks were about crashing into me and each other trying to get around me. Highway 1804 is a very busy road mostly for semi's making deliveries to oil rigs. So I was stuck, I put the truck in forward, and reverse many times, going back and fourth back and fourth inching my way off of the road, I was dragging the whole left bottom of my truck, it took several minutes, and I caught the engine on fire, I over heated about everything you could over heat, the truck went into limp mode, service four wheel drive came on, service trailer brake system came on, there was some sever damage done to the engine and electrical system, as a direct result of my tires coming off. I managed to get the truck off of the road far enough to where traffic could get around me. When I was in a safe location I called Northwest Tire and let them know what happened, they managed to get a truck and a few tools together and drive 167 miles to try and fix the mistake they made by not putting my back tires on correctly. Had my tires never came off, I would have never been stuck on the side of the road burning up my engine trying to get off the road. After several hours of waiting, they showed up, and only brought a rotor, and only one tire and rim, it took a long time to get the truck jacked up because of the mud, and we had to use my spare tire which is rated at only 30 to 35 psi, and they did not bring enough parts to completely fix the rear end of the truck correctly, so they had me weld the bottom of my break calipers because the mounting hole had been wore down due to having to drive it so long on the highway with no safe place to pull over. So we managed to patch the truck up enough for me to return to the rig I was working on, and the manager to the Dickinson branch of Northwest tire was there, and I was promised if I turn the body damage to the truck from hitting the back of the semi trailer, and having two brake hard and all the metal falling off the top of my truck to my insurance company, and take some of the financial burden off of them that they would take care of any damage caused to the truck, so I took them for there word. I have a long history and relationship with them, and I have all my work done there so I believed them. I was up for a total of 45.5 hours that day, and it took me 7 hours to drive back to Dickinson from Willistion because the truck would not come out of limp mode. Northwest tire picked the truck up when I made it back to town and worked on it, and called me and told me it was fixed, I told them several times that the engine and four wheel drive was not working, they would not listen and broke the promises made when there were fixing it in the field. So I picked the truck up, and as soon as I got into the truck, and started it the first warning was low engine coolant, the second was reduced engine power, and the third and fourth was service four wheel drive system, and trailer brake system. So I left the truck parked in the front of my house, and started making phone calls, and writing emails, The local branch would no longer talk to me, I wrote I believe two emails two the president of Northwest tire Mr. [redacted], and I waited and there was no response, so I drove to the corporate office to try and touch base with him in person about the problem the first day he was out of the office, the second day I drove over there he was in the office, and he was very nice to me, he said because I said in my emails that I had a lawyer that he could not talk to me it had been turned over to the insurance company, and that I would be taken care of, I explained to him I was sorry I did not have an attorney I had just gotten a consultation on what I should do, but at the time had not retained a lawyer for this problem yet, I had talked to the Vice president twice before I spoke with the president on the phone, he was very nice on the first phone call, and promised to look into the situation, he never returned my call so I called him back, and the second phone call he was very rude, and laughed at me, and was very down grading. That is what prompted me to locate and speak with the president. The president told me the name of the insurance rep and he was even nice enough to call her as I was leaving the office, and on the way home he called me, and said she would be calling me shortly.

And this is were the trouble begins, I waited a week and the insurance company never made one call to me, I had to call several times to the Northwest tire office to get the name and number of the insurance company, I called and spoke with the rep that was working on my case. She was one of the most rude and disrespectful persons I have ever spoke to in my life, I was trying to tell her my story, and she kept walking all over me, stopping me, would not let me talk, I finally was able to get some of the story across to her, I even had to ask her if she was writing any of this down, the only thing she really had to say was they would have to further investigate the matter, and I would be getting a call the next day, so I called the head quarters of American Family insurance and found out her supervisors name, and I called and spoke with him, he also said they would have to further investigate the matter, and he would call me back the next day, I do not remember exactly but I do not think he called, I had to call back the next day, I talked to him again, and he said he would call me back, and he did call back a few hours later the same day and he said my claim was denied, and I still cannot understand how they even did any investigation, they did not even have very much of my side of the story. So before I retained a lawyer I reported Northwest tire to the Revdex.com, and then I got a lawyer, and he was working back and forth with Northwest Tire, and the Insurance company, He Got Northwest Tire to finally agree to take my truck in and have tests done to see what was wrong with my truck, after we found out what was wrong with my truck, he sent the papers to northwest tire. Every place I called to fix a vehicle in Dickinson North Dakota was at least six weeks out, everything in this town is backed up that bad. So I found a dealer ship in Bismarck ND that could get me in, I let my lawyer know, and he Told me to get the truck in and get it fixed, so I figured Northwest tire came through on there promise to fix the damages caused to my truck because my tires came off. So I took the truck in, and after it was half way done my lawyer said the insurance company, and northwest tire is now refusing to pay for the damages. So I tried to call the insurance company myself, and they said as long as I had a lawyer they could not and would not talk to me, so within an hour I got rid of my attorney, putting me back on my own to try and figure this out. So I was able to get back in touch with the Lady that denied my claim, and this time she could talk to me, and again she was the rudest person I have ever talked to, she would not listen to a single thing I was trying to say, or answer any questions I was asking, she again walked all over me, cutting every word off I was trying to say, and the only thing she would say is they made up there mind and they were not going to change there decision to pay for any repairs, or any lose of wages. There was no formal investigation done, she would not listen to the fact that the truck would not run over 40 miles an hour, all northwest tire done was put new calipers and a new tire, and rotated them, and a few other things to the rear end of the truck, she said they did a road test and said the truck was road worthy, the only thing the truck was good for is running to walmart to get food, or shopping, it was still stuck in limp mode, had all four engine mounts broke, and many other problems that was caused by the crash, and she would not listen to any of it, at this time nothing has been turned over to the courts, and I have no attorney working on this case, I am trying to expose American Family Insurance for there failure to truly investigate the accident, and while I am stuck losing 1,020 dollars a day at a minimum, my truck is now been repaired and is setting at a dealership in Bismarck north Dakota, and I have absolutely no way of paying for the 7,000 dollars in repairs to get my truck back out and go back to work, the accident happened on June 14th, since then we have had to have the church pay our july's rent, and a verterans charity out of Denver paid our Augusts rent, and gave us 500 dollars to eat on, we have had to go to food banks, and now we are completely broke, I have a 2 year old son, a 7 year old son, a 10 year old daughter, and a 12 year old daughter, and I wife we found out she has a brain tumor, and I had no money to pay for health insurance because I have been out of work for so long, In my opinion American Family Insurance did not do any kind of real investigation, they treated me like I was trash, would not listen to me, and denied the case in just two days of talking to them, again how can you preform any kind of investigation with out all the information, nobody has inspected the rotor and studs, nothing, just walked all over me because they new I have know means in which to fight back and get the truth out there, I am going to continue at this until I get what I was promised, and until some one listens to me, and no one under any circumstances should be talked to or treated the way I was on the phone while trying to talk to American Family Insurance.Desired Settlement: I would like a proper investigation done, on the rotor, and studs, and all my vehicle records review, and they will show that I spend a whole lot of money there, my weld truck is my life, and I am always making sure it is in tip top condition, the day I bought the truck, and even before I turned it into a welding truck, I had them go over it from top to bottom and fix everything that even looked like it was going to go bad, and put a brand new set of tires on it, and told them how much weight I was going to be putting on the truck, so I had them out fit the truck with an extra 2500 hundred pounds of leave springs on each side off the truck, so it could easily support the weight, I have had many many tire changes there, and have bought several sets of tires there for two different welding trucks, and I always have a heavy truck, it is a service truck, and out of all the tires they have fixed and changed over almost three years no tires have ever come off, it was the end of the day when I went to have the brakes done, and they squeezed me in because I am a good customer, and they were in a hurry because it was closing, I ask the mechanic if he was going to clean the dirt and mud of off the rotors before he put the tires back on, but he never did, I was in the shop watching them do it, when I ask them to clean the rotors they looked upset, so I left the shop, so I really do not know what they did, and as for the road test that American Family insurance claimed they did was just a drive around town or the block, So if it takes me calling every news paper, and tv station in the country I will get a proper investigation done, and what I was promised by northwest tire, and a apology for how I was treated on the phone, and By American Family in general.. And lug nuts are not that load bearing the rims set on the hub and rotors, they to not take all the weight of the truck, the axel, or springs would break before the lugs nuts would come off due to weight, have them investigate that. The only three options are they were not tightened in the right order, they did not clean the rotors properly thus tightening the rims up against all the dirt on the rotors and over time the dirt was crushed and the lugs then became loose, or they were just way over torqued. This is why I have never changed a tire on one of my welding trucks, I am not trained nor to I want the liability of making a mistake, I always us a professional for my tire work, and that has always been north west tire since I came to Dickinson. My truck is going to be sold for the cost of the repairs soon, and I have over 100,000 dollars in that truck, and I am about to lose it all, and my family and I do not even have enough money to move out of this trailer we are going to be kicked out of by the 6th of sept, unless I can get back to work,

Review: I was rear ended by a client of this company. In Indiana, and according to the police report, it is clearly their clients fault. He was cited for following too close. He also had a blood alcohol content of .07 which according to the Indiana BMV does affect response time. I was slightly injured however am ok. I am not seeking any compensation other than the repair of my car. They are refusing to pay for that.Desired Settlement: pay for repair of my car

Review: My recent agent [redacted] retired. I was transferred to another agent [redacted]. Due to a random surveillance of property I've been harrassed and discriminated against the new AF agent I've received Closings and new agent referral. I've lived in a modular 1300 sq ft home. The agent that is attacking me for discrepancies lives quite well and there is no comparison to homes. Also try to change and get new agent, not possible. I feel the agent is not a dedicated professional agent. American Family Insurance has let me down. Also false advertising woo with the help follow my dreams. Its been a nightmare with American Family Insurance. I've been harassed for years and want money settlement for all the inconsiderate action they have put on my family and life.Desired Settlement: I want to change compas to Gordon Ins and restitution for all the standards I cannot keep with AFI Insurance I want reinstate to my account. Also moneys for being compensated for standards. I cannot keep for I am 100% disabled American veteran of the arm and cannot do what what want
