Our roof started to leak. I called the company in the afternoon and they set up an appointment for the next day. I did not say it was an emergency, as no more rain was predicted that day and it was late in the day. Mr Tyler G showed up at the appointed time and checked everything out. He took pictures, showed them to us and explained to us what needed to be done. As rain was expected later that day, he arranged to have someone come and install a tarp to cover where the leaks were coming from within a couple of hours! This person took pictures of the work he did. The next day the company set up an appointment to come and do the roof replacement within a week. All the steps were done as scheduled by very professional personnel. They did a very good job all the way thru including the cleanup. Their crew chief let us know what was going to happen and talked to us. When they were done he showed us pictures of what they did. Mr G came after they were done to do an extra check and to make sure we were satisfied. We were very pleased that they took many pictures of the roof both before, during and after the work showing what they had done and provided them to us.

Paul C. unclogged a gutter that I was having problems with. In addition, he answered all of my questions and was very helpful in explaining the causes of the clog.

We waited a month to get an appointment. I called several times and texted during this period with no return call. I took off from work for the appointment, they called and left a message cancelling the morning of the appointment. Awful service. I did not have them do the service.

I have a contract with American Home Contractors, dated 12/18/2018, for exterior work on my townhouse for the amount of $2850. The contract states that work will be done within two weeks. The contract asks for $500 down payment and remaining, $2350, due upon work completion; the $500 downpayment was paid on 12/18/2018 and cashed by the company on 1/2/2019.
However, as of 1/8/2019 work was not started and after several contacts from my side, the company informed me that they are unable to do the job with the contract amount and they were asking for $4,400 instead.
The American Home Contractors has breached their contract and they are at fault. I am asking for them to complete the job as stated in the contract ASAP. This company is not trustworthy and it does not deserve current Revdex.com rating.
