To whom it may concern,The limited edition firearm that Mr*** *** had purchased was placed in production at the same time that he ordered Unfortunately at the time the specific model of firearm was not in inventory which caused a very long delay A rifle was assigned at the end of
July to the order and went into production immediately The rifle was delivered on September 6th, to the requested gun shop of the customer’s choice Due to the mismanagement of the inventory levels in 2016, American Legacy Firearms has replaced upper management roles and is focusing on shortening delivery times by increasing inventory To increase inventory levels in the future, we have started purchasing with additional distributors This will allow for faster access to the product needed to keep up with sales We are committed to keeping the inventory up and have replaced the employee responsible for purchasing.Kind regards,Jean V** ***General ManagerAmerican Legacy Firearms

June 7, 2017To whom it may concern,The limited edition firearms that Mr*** *** had purchased were placed in production at the same time he placed his orders At the time of purchase, he was informed of a February deliveryBetween the months of August through October he was shipped his French fitted gun cases, certificates and anniversary coins as a gesture of good faithUnfortunately, at the time of his order the specific model of firearms were not in inventory from the distributor, which caused a longer delay than expected.Due to the mismanagement of the inventory levels in 2016, American Legacy Firearms has replaced upper management roles and is focusing on shortening delivery times by increasing inventory To increase inventory levels in the future, we have started purchasing with additional distributors This has allowed for faster access to the product needed to keep up with sales We are committed to keeping the inventory up and have replaced the employee responsible for purchasing As per Mr***’s request, he did cancel his order on both shotgunsThe restocking fees were waived and the customer retained possession of the French fitted cases and coins Also a full refund was submitted for $through certified mail and the check cleared our bank account on June 7, 2017.Kind regards,Jean v** ***General ManagerAmerican Legacy Firearms

To Whom It May Concern:In regards to Mr***'s order that was placed on January 25, Our company has a 6-month production time frame, so I would like to apologize for the delay in receiving your gun within that timeWe have had an overabundance of orders this year that have come
though and it has put our production company behindI have looked over all of our documentation and this is the first time I have been informed that Mr*** would like to cancel and receive a refundI have submitted a request to cancel the order and have also requested a refund to be submitted to the him at this timeOur policy clearly states that a 30% restocking fee is applied to any gun produced, personalized, shipped, registered, and/or receivedThis fee is based on the total orderPurchases made with a credit card are refunded directly to the original credit cardDue to our production being behind and causing his gun not to be done in time; American Legacy Firearms will be waiving the 30% fee and submitting a full refund to Mr***He should be receiving his full refund within the next business daysAgain, we do apologize for the delay in delivery.Kind regards,Aimee C***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: after reviewing the response, allowing the two week period ALF said would resolve my late arrivals (N0v - Dec 17), I have not received any contacts (none) regarding my three items purchased and paid in full in Feb 2017. ALF however uses my e-mail address to send promotions for many (5-8) new firearms they would like me to review and possibly buy. I just can not grasp a company that follows this sort of customer interface. I have done many thousands of dollars in purchases in the past 2-years, and ALF was always very good at meeting the dates items were to be shipped to my firearms dealer in *** *** **. GO FIGURE ?!#

[redacted]To Whom It May Concern:I have an update for complaint number [redacted].  American Legacy Firearms finally sent me a refund check in the amount of $4,600.00, which I deposited in...

my bank account (check has not cleared yet).  The check was dated for May 3rd and not mailed until June 2nd, 2017.I appreciate the Revdex.com working with me on this conflict.  Thank you.[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] purchased a limited edition pistol from our company in late September and paid in full. Due to the mismanagement of the inventory and purchasing levels in 2016, American Legacy Firearms has replaced upper management roles and is focusing on shortening delivery times by increasing...

inventory.  To increase inventory levels in the future, we have started purchasing with three additional distributors.  This has allowed for faster access to the product needed to keep up with sales.   We are committed to keeping the inventory up and have replaced the employee responsible for purchasing.  After speaking with our production company, I found out that Mr. [redacted]'s pistol is in the metal running part of production. I called Mr. [redacted] this morning and apologized for the delay in receiving his pistol as well as the lack of communication on our end in letting him know what the status was on his pistol. I informed him that he should have his gun by late August and we would be in touch with shipping and tracking information. We are committed to our delivery but volume and availability have put us a bit behind from our original estimates. We will do our best to have his gun out quicker to him. Sincerely, Aimee C[redacted]

November 30th,2017 To whom it may concern; Mr. [redacted]'s order has taken a long time to complete due to the inability of our company to acquire the needed firearm for this edition. The reason the shipping dates kept getting pushed back was due to no delivery on our back order with our...

distributors. There were 3 revolvers ordered and we have been picking up every revolver we can when they are available. We even have gone as far as to purchase the revolver for full retail price in order to fulfill our orders. Mr. [redacted]'s revolvers have been received and are production as we speak. They are currently in the finishing stages of engraving. Once all 3 revolvers are completed and assembled, they will go through final inspection and a functionality test. We are estimatingthat the firearms will be ready to shipwithin 2 weeks.  Johannes van O[redacted] General Manager American Legacy Firearms [redacted]

[redacted]      [redacted]----------------------------------------------------------------------... try this again.  I responded to your first e-mail but it didn't getto you.I had two calls from the folks at American Legacy Firearms (ALF).  firstwas the 28th of Dec 17 (Todd/Sales) and next on the 29th (Candy/Sales)both telling me the guns would be at [redacted]'s Gun Shop on the 29th ofDecember.Called [redacted]'s on the afternoon of the 29th, they were in the shop for meto pick-up.  35-40 miles each way, picked them up, the are AWESOME (AllThree).Sent e-mail to ALF on 01 Jan 2018 and stated they were AWESOME.  Alsolisted small items that were missing.  These included mostly registrationpaper, parts & accessory reorder forms.  A collector keeps all these itemswith the box for future resale value.  Also a "T" handle (plastic Tool)used to install the gun grips was in two of the three boxes, asked for a3rd "T" handle. Called ALF on 02 Jan 2018 and talked to Casidey/Sales, said guns wereAWESOME, and gave him the list as well and asked him to look for thee-mail/items if he could.Today, the 5th of Jan 18, have had two (2) ALF promotional e-mails for newguns, but no response to my call or e-mail.Close the complaint.  Also, Please request "on my behalf" that they sendmissing items if possible, and REMOVE ME FROM ALL ALF E-MAIL LISTINGS FORTHE FUTURE PROMO SALES.  No More Please.Thank you for your time and assistance with this issue.  Respectfully, [redacted]
