The start date on the contract is an approximate start date as it clearly states on the contract, the homeowner even signed an additional paper that explains the start date is appoximate and to not take off any work until we contact them with an exact start date We are currently experiencing
manufacturing delays Our manufacturer is moving into a larger facility and the transition caused some unexpected delays in manufacturing We are receiving their windows on Friday and plan on installing them on 12/15/or 12/16/ We apologize for the delay, but it's out of our control

We've spoke to *** *** concerning the snow guards coming off under heavy snow & ice conditions This isn't anything to due with a manufacturing defect in material and the snow guards are installed to manufacturer specifications This isn't something that would be covered under the
warranty it is and act of God due to the extreme weather conditions We are however going to help *** *** by reinstalling the snow guards and seeing if there is something we can do to prevent this in the future by possible adding extra snow guards in the area where they got knocked off by the snow & ice

lease find this email as a follow up to the above complaint. American Remodeling stopped in on Thursday, May 25th, 2017 to replace the roof in question. The Lead Installer (Bob) was very insistend towards my wife that the problem was not the installed roof by American Remodeling, but the existing House Roof. He informed my wife that all work will be life streamed back to the office for clarification, so no more he said /she said scenarios. My wife called me at work at 8:31 to inform me about this. When I returned home at approximately 1:30 that afternoon the Lead Installer asked me to come up the ladder to take a look at the roof that American Remodeling was installing. He told me that he had to apologize for statements made in the morning, to my wife, and that in fact the problem was based on the prior installed (shingle) roof by American Remodeling. He further told me that he had found the issue and that Roofing Board (Plywood) needed to be replacement because of the incorrect prior installed roof. He informed me that now the roof was installed correctly, to code, with a rubber roofing material on the lower part, covered by shingle on the upper (steeper pitch). After the installation was completed , the Lead Installer informed me that the installation was now DONE.This email is, only, to inform you of the completion of the roof replacement and to close the complaint from our end. We have taken pictures of the replacement after the crew left, if further questions should arise.Thank you very much for your support in this matter.Kind Regards, [redacted] & [redacted]

One of the employees (?) came door-to-door in our neighborhood. We wanted a quote on replacing 3 windows. Appointment was made for the next day. No show, no call.
Basic rule for hiring contractors: If they have to go door-to-door in the summer, they don't have enough work. That's for a reason.
Glad we had this experience before hiring them. If they can't keep an estimate appointment, how can I expect good service on an actual project?

We'll call homeowner to stop back out sometime next week

We've already discounted the project $2645.00. The glass table issue was an accident, my understanding is that it was your ladder with a your hammer on top that got bumped. But let me know what you need to cover the cost of the glass. We're not replacing the entire door, just the panels, it'll...

take 10 minutes. But we'll wait until spring if you want. Call and let us know when you'd like it done

I am rejecting this response because: the problem is they never called to let us know it does not say approximate date they chose the date we would of went with another place if we knew all this. Yes they did call on Wednesday Robert was very rude and mean to me. In my opinion I want my money back. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They want there money but very nasty.  The date was wrote on the contract before Thanksgiving. Then when I contacted them they called my wife told her week after Thanksgiving. Then that never happened they never contacted us with a reason that is not how you do business.
Regards,
[redacted]

We were out about the time she told you we were. He should have at least knocked to check if your were home. Our installer reported that the caulking was fine. If you want us to run out again there will be a service charge for a non-existent problem. We consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because: So far I have not gotten a call to schedule a day and time to come check the caulking just like before.

I met [redacted] at the job Monday to start repairs of the capping work, but I had to leave due to a family emergency and did not want Bob working on the beam until I can be present.  I will be available on Wednesday to oversee the rest of the repairs.

When we were out to meet with [redacted] he had an issue with the roof, it was a shingle roof that was leaking, at that time we told him the roof should be done in rubber due to the pitch.  [redacted] didn't want to do the roof in rubber due to the cost being considerably more than shingles and...

since he had shingles there was no reason we couldn't do shingles again.  We did the roof per [redacted]'s request and per the contract with him.  We went back out to [redacted]'s home and took up the shingles in the area of the leak and added ice and water shield in that area and flashed the wall against the house.  The roof above the roof we did is also in terrible shape and could be leaking causing the lower roof to leak.  We are the ones that told [redacted] that the he should have never used shingles again but cost was an issue.  We went above and beyond to help [redacted].

One I never once put in a complaint with [redacted] motor company. So they are lying there I never said I was uneducated for starters I have a high school diploma. Graduated in 1991. So they are lying there. Never once did I mention the name of company on my temporary route. Robert called me when I was out on route with an attitude. I had speaker phone on. Because of delivery he was yelling at me customer ask who that was I stated a window company. Never once did I mention name. Sharon never read me the contract or did they read it to me over phone. They never even showed us the windows or describe them to me or my family. I have several witnesses that was at house to prove that. My wife Gigi our tennant was there and my daughter. When Sharon just stopped by the other night to find out was going on she brought some lady with her friend that we don't get along with name [redacted]. Because the lady basically used our son that lived with her.  There is the wrong window in basement. That we want the window replaced we did not ask for the window. I am not no window company so how would I know what windows are called. On contract it states basement BH for style DH for all other styles. I did not sign when Jason came out for measuring for I was not here I was at work. Yes the contract states anticipated date is 11/24 finished 11/25 but the problem is they never called on them dates to post pone the dates. I called them week later they never returned my call. They call my wife and told her week after Thanksgiving. That day came and went no phone call. I called them talked to reception she was upset with her company. She told me to leave message with Robert  I did. She told me to call back she would not answer phone. It goes to Robert. He gave me the attitude the next day. The whole company is liars I will tell everyone I see never to use them. If I am so uneducated then how do I know how to use punctuation. Work on internet. Oh! I have my CDL with school bus endorsement hard test that you have to read and study. Yet I am uneducated. Liars! Liars! Liars!  If they want to keep up the stress and all I will get a lawyer.

We apologize for the delay the reimbursement will be mailed out Monday.Jason

I'm rejecting the complaint from the customer that we lied and didn't follow the contract.  We followed the contract exactly as written, as I stated before the contract has an anticipated start date on it due to unforeseen issues beyond our control.  I spoke to the customer today and he stated that he is uneducated and  couldn't properly read the contract, so he was unaware the date was anticipated.  He was explained the contract by Sharon and then it was read out loud and confirmed by phone by Jason Larsen.  He also stated he got the wrong window in the basement but its the exact window that is on the contract.   [redacted] stated to Sharon when she went to the home to try to rectify this issue that he filed a complaint on the [redacted] dealership and refused to take it off the Revdex.com until he was given a discount.  [redacted] uses the Revdex.com to get money off his contractual obligations.  [redacted] also has been making negative slanderous remarks to his customers on his [redacted] route that may cause financial harm to us and we will be reporting this to [redacted] and will file suit against [redacted] if it continues.  We are done with [redacted] and will be forwarding the contract to the Revdex.com for their review .

The refund check was originally mailed out on 8/14/17 and was never received by [redacted].  We waited to make sure it wasn't lost in the mail and when he didn't receive it by the 21st we put a stop payment on the check and issued another check and sent it next day mail with a tracking number....

[redacted] received the refund check on the 22nd.  The refund was for the original deposit of $5800.00.  [redacted] paid $500 dollars to have the prints drawn up before we ever met him.  It doesn't cost $1700.00 to change a couple window sizes when the whole addition was drawn up for $500 dollars.  Also the changes made to the window sizes will work for any other contractor that would do the addition that uses a vinyl window so the prints are not useless.  We do apologize for the not being able to do the project but felt it was in the best interest of both parties for us to walk away.

We'll be down within the next week or so to replace the shingles with rubber

I had talked to Mr. [redacted] on March 1st. Apologized for the delay and lack of communication. We're scheduled to start the project Thursday, March 3rd. Again, we apologize for the delay, unacceptable on our part.
