America's Loan Company

After reading the reviews on this page, I feel some commonalities with complaints.
1) I now see that it is common for American Loan Company to tell applicants "I can get you 2,000 without a co-signer” when an applicant is denied a loan individually.
2) I then immediately got a co-singer but to no success contacted the local branch and then the 888 number to be routed back to the local offices voicemail.
While I understand the loaning processes can be tedious, it would also better process if in fact there is an open line communication that is consistent throughout the process with the customers. For example, by email the ALC representative could have said ‘I have received your documents and those documents are being reviewed by underwriting”. Instead, I called ALC after waiting 2 business days to be told “I just sent them” and then to later receive another email stating,” a co-singer is needed". (ALC: please don't tell customer in hindsight "we didn't guarantee that offer" because also you didn't disclose this at first communication). At this point, I am just waiting and not sure what to think.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was a co-signer on a loan and they started garnishing my wages without notifying me that another form of payment was needed. I’m pretty sure this is illegal and not only are they unprofessional but Chrystal is incredibly rude.

I called the office in Jefferson Ohio and advised them that I did not have a co-signer and asked them how much I could borrow without a co-signer. I was told that I could get $2000 no co-signer needed. I provided them with the additional information that was needed to process my loan. A couple of days passed and I was turned down and was told that a co-signer was needed after they pulled a hard inquiry on my credit report. This company is unprofessional and doing false advertisement!

I had great customer service. It would be easier however if you could do all the paperwork online and have the money deposited. Otherwise I had a good experience

America's Loan Company is reliable and efficient and they made the entire process of securing a loan easy to understand. They made sure I got what I needed and they worked with me on a terrific payment plan! They are friendly and trustworthy and I highly recommend them!
