STAY AWAY!!!!!
Stay AWAY! Ordered a custom lift for my business in March that was supposed to ship in 6 weeks. In August after being strung along with and endless list of excuses and non communication, I had to pull the plug. I prepaid for it, so getting a refund was like pulling teeth. I couldn't open my business without the lift and was bleeding cash daily after Covid restrictions were lifted. Ameriglide didn't care at all that they put me to the brink of bankruptcy. Nick Stelmach and Tim Worley are two of the most incompetent people I have ever worked with in my career. Steer clear of this company! If I could give negative stars, I would.

I was on a speakerphone call as one of my daughters as well as my 28 year old grandson overheard the call simply made to Frank, Friday 7/17/20. It was only about the need because I was moving 7/25, to have my outdoor chairlift removed. Of course it would be best removed for movers to be able to get by with furniture and boxes easy but also because we were needing to have it removed for the landlord of the unit since we are vacating the property. It was preferable this could be done either thurs. 7/23 or fri 7/24 in this case. In simply calling to inquire, Frank answered 7/17 and said that it could be removed on either of those days but to call him closer to then and it was then left that we would call back the next Wednesday 7/22. Although it seemed a bit odd to not just schedule it, we just planned to call back then as he said. It was explained about it being due to moving in this first call. Because I purchased the lift from Frank about 2 1/2 years ago, and his business does say they buy back equipment., it simply was asked if he would want it too. He asked how old it was and then he stated that it would only be worth $100 as he said “because it is so old.” We said this was fine. In calling back then Wed 7/22, as I had movers coming 7/25, Frank says that he does not have anyone there and they can’t do it because everyone is out of town on a job. This was now almost a wasted full week of as now another company cannot even come out until 8/3 to remove it for me. My landlord is charging me after 7/31 fees for it remaining. The creepy part is when I myself simply tried to email slip proof to ask if they could still come out the week of 7/27, even more time was wasted communication wise as I received very strange responses. The first was from someone who sounded mentally ill. Rambling and saying that they did not remember anything about picking up $100 or a phone conversation. By this time there had been 2 phone conversations. In this same message it said they are not taking their medication. I asked “is this Frank?” and the reply was only “YES.” My family left a voice message simply asking for Frank to call and oddly there was a call close to 7pm but no message left. All of this for a simple chairlift removal to be scheduled lol. I am very happy to be working with another company to have it removed but also for future equipment needed.??

We had an outdoor chair lift installed for $2000. It is a used chair lift and we pay $125 per month after a down payment of $600. We had been told that there is some form of a guarantee but it was not explained at all. None the less, today only 6 months after having it, I left with my mom for an appointment, it worked fine when leaving and the chair was then left in the down position. In coming back, my mom sits on it and said "it isn't working" when pushing the button to make it go up, it wouldn't do anything. I went inside then went back out to look at it, I unplugged it from the outlet a few times, reset a button, and unplugged it at the base etc. and it still would not work at all. I then called and Mr. *** answered the phone. My mom had called only one other time soon after having his daughter here to do the paperwork as his daughter was saying that we were renting it. As my mom spoke to him, Mr. became very agitated that time when just wanting to check to make sure that we were actually buying it. Today I simply call for the first time and I started just saying Hello this is *** and we have the chair lift, we live in the mobile home park. There was dead silence and I simply said that it wasn't working and tried to just say what I had tried so far and I hear "Stop Stop Stop, just Stop" He startled me and again there was dead silence. I then just said "is there anything that you can do" he very rudely says "I don't think there is anything that I can do but I can tell you what you can do" He told me to pull on the cable and try it. I did and it still wasn't working. Being so taken back by especially his yelling at first for no reason, I said "we are paying for this" and he said "I know that you are paying for it but it is not guaranteed for life" I said I know but it should be for more than just a few months. He sounded so agitated and said that he has to go and will call back. I tried to say that I was leaving and he rudely said Bye.
