[redacted] was at our house to do a tune up and was very thorough. He gave us some vital information on what we could do as homeowners to help prolong the life of the system and also keep service calls at a minimum. Great customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Hello my name is [redacted] and felt lead to post my experience about a recent tune up I had done by Amtek. At first I was hesitant when I called the number on a post card advertisement. !st the woman who answered the phone was polite and professional,the appointment was scheduled and I received a courtesy call prior to the tech's arrival. shockingly he was ON TIME and very pleasant. His name is [redacted] and was Extremely Professional and Smart, Clean, and Informative. I Strongly suggest you ask for him when scheduling. He helped me with germ prevention and my breathing has improved tremendously. I Gladly recommend this company for EVERY need you my have with your A/C. Sincerely, [redacted].
I had service from Amtek Air today, and the tec. [redacted] was great to have come to my house. Any question that I had he had the answer. He was a gentleman to the highest standard, that any business would not mind having a man like him to represent their company.
My husband and I , we're very impressed with the technicians [redacted] and [redacted] . They really check our AC unit and spent ample time to explain to us the extend of our mold issue and gave us a couple of option to remedy to our pretty bad situation . We were with upset to find out we needed a new unit, and their kind and caring behavior made it easier for us to accept the inevitable replacement of our AC units and ducks in the entire house!!!
Please be careful when using this company. I hired them for a a/c tuneup advertised at 29.00. A very friendly tech showed up on time. He took me through his procedure stating that my A/C unit was performing well. When he went to the attic to check the air handler things changed. I herd a loud statement " Oh St". He called me up into the attic and showed me that the Plenum of my 2 year old unit had pulled away from the handler. He then stated that the builder of my 10 year old house had not connected the ducts properly. He said he would call the office to find out how much to correct this problem. He put his office on speaker phone so that I may hear what I thought to be a scripted conversation.He told me that they would connect and seal all seventeen ducts and not charge me to reconnect the plenum. the total would be 1950.00 dollars. Needless to say I did not hire them. they also wanted 325.00 just to reconnect the plenum. I had the work done for 150.00. I am a retired investigator and started to smell this stink quickly.
We contracted for a new air conditioning system on 9/25/2015 and were told it would be completed the next day. We, unfortunately, paid in full that day. The system was completed on 10/05/201542 days later! The out side unit was put in for their conveniencein that it sits on the hurricane pad backwards!!!! Every time I look at it, it makes me sick. I was asked if I wanted a free phone by the tech who sold us the unit, which I declined, only to change my mind later. I called AmTec and was told "What phone". I am very disappointed with the company.
