Angeletta Skin Reviews (%countItem)

I ordered a sample of skin cream for $6. Apparently it needed to be returned within 17 days for a full refund. I was charged $89. When I contacted them they gave me offers for a refund ranging from 30-50% if I did not file a Revdex.com complaint. Even if I can't get a full refund I still want to report my displeasure with their deceptive, manipulative practices.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) Full refund

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Full repayment is what I requested.

I believed I was ordering a sample of a facial care skin cream. Buried in the many pages of their mini- lettered consumer information was a statement containing the catch that if the consumer didn't sign up for regular shipments of their product the consumer would be charged $89.89 for the product on top of the $6.89 cost of shipping. A consumer representative I spoke with, after my contention that they weren't authorized to charge me for something I didn't agree to buy, offered me a 30% refund of the total price which amounted to $26.97.This company's business practices are sleazy, at best. It seems more criminal to me.
Product_Or_Service: ANGELETTA Revitalizing Moisturizer

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I would like the full cost of the product refunded to me, not just 30% of the cost.

False advertising. They use celebrities falsely to promote their products.
You are offered a trial size for the cost of shipping. Then they charge your account for future shipments. When I called to dispute the charges, I was told that I opted for future shipments. I told them that "I know for sure that I deselected the box for future shipments because I've been burned like that before". They were rude and said that I couldn't get a refund. But then they called back to say that they could ONLY give me 30% back. I told them I wanted ALL of my money back. I was told that that's their policy. I told them that I can't use the products because they irritated my skin.

Desired Outcome

TOTAL REFUND for them scamming me out of my hard earned money. And I'm stuck with products that I can't use.

Bought the sample cream for $6.89 on 3/20/19. On 4/9/19 I discovered a pending charge for $89.89 and told the credit union to stop it. Found out later that they can't. Called the company and they tried to give me the cream cheaper. Told them I didn't want any cream and just give me back my money. This call was on 4/9/19. After finding out the credit union was not going to do anything. Called them again on 4/25/19 and the girl said that since I wouldn't accept their discount they wouldn't refund my money.

Desired Outcome

Just want them to credit my visa for $89.89

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I RECEIVED A CHECK FOR THE FULL AMOUNT THAT THEY OWED ME. YOU DID AN AWESOME JOB OF FIXING THIS FOR ME. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I have never subscribed or used this service. When I discovered several mnths charges. I asked for a refund. They will give back the initial charge.
I ordered a free trial to use and skin care cream and was supposed to be charged only for shipping. Then at the end of the order they said, try this for free and we will only charge $6.88 for shipping charges. Then I discovered a couple of days after I received the product that ended up charging $88.88 and $89.88 on my card. I immediately called and let them know. I never subscribed to this and didn't even try this because it was advertised as having organic ingredients. I simply looked at the ingredients and found no organic ingredients whatsoever. They wanted to charge me 25% off and then 50% off. I was adamant they refund me the whole amount because it was false advertising and I never subscribed to anything. They said they would cancel all subscriptions and refund me my money. Then a few months later my card is flagged for a suspicious, recurring charge which I did not recognize, for 19.83. Apparently, the whole time they were charging me for a fee ebook that I was never aware that I had and did not subscribe to. When I discovered several months charges. I asked for a refund. They will not give back the initial charge because it is 5 days out of their 90 day window. Their customer service is handled by a 3rd party which is not allowed to give me their real number or allowed to give a refund out of that 90 day window. They have been charging me this every month since Jan. 24, 2019 for $19.93 via Visa debit card ending in *** which is now canceled due to this fraudulent charges.

Desired Outcome

I need a refund from the initial payment and all subsequent charges that have not been refunded. Thank you

Dear ***,

Refunds issued 05/04/2019 to the payment method on file. The refund will go back to your financial institution, if the card number was changed the refund will still reflect back to your financial institution & they will return the payment to the new card number. Card # on file ends with ***

Dishonest advertising and unwilling to provide a full refund although products were unopened and unused. Scripted CSRs unwilling to do what's right.
This product was misrepresented as a skin care product created by an endorsed by Robin Roberts from GMA. My mother who is a senior saw this advertisement and was interested in trying the product. As a gift to her I purchased it under the free sample advertised on the Internet. At the time, being familiar with the bad practices of companies charging unknown reoccurring monthly fees, I was very cognizant to check for this during my purchase. Not noticing anything of the sort, I proceeded with ordering the free sample Angeletta Skin Creme and Eye Serum, entering my debit card information to cover only the shipping fees. I was charged 2 separate shipping fees ($6.88 and $6.89) and both products shipped in the same box. Approx three weeks later on 04/25/2019, my bank account was charged $88.88 via the debit card used for the free sample. When I contacted the customer service line on 04/25/2019, I was informed that I would only receive a partial refund (in about 2-3 wks) because of a $19 restocking fee which they claimed could not be waived. Even though the merchandise has NOT been opened and is totally unused, and I explained to them that at no time did I see any mention of OR acknowledge agreeing to a reoccurring monthly fee, they still refused to refund me the entire purchase amt. Not only did they falsely advertise their merchandise, they duped me and I'm sure many other consumers by not fully disclosing that there would recurring monthly charges upon making the initial purchase. Purchase date: 03/31/2019 @ 7:29p EST Order nbrs: *** (Angeletta Skin Creme) and *** (Angeletta Eye Serum)

Desired Outcome

I canceled the account and am returning the unopened merchandise. I am willing to forego the $13.77 I paid for the shipping fees, but I want a full refund of $88.88 for the recurring charge and no future charges to my account. Not only should this company be exposed for their dishonest advertising (framed around a well-known celebrity) and their purchasing scam, a class action lawsuit also needs to be filed against them to stop them and hold them fully accountable for their fraudulent business practices.

Unauthorized charges to my account in the amount of $178.77 on March 8th, 2019. Partial refund was granted for $62.57, company refused to refund bala
On March 8th, 2019, I noticed that my bank account was debited two amounts by Angeletta, one for $88.88 and another for $89.89. I immediately called Angeletta to inquire about the charges. I was informed that I had not cancelled for a free trial of their product, so now there is automatic shipment and charges to my account. I did argue at the time that the company was misleading customers by falsely claiming that they will send a free trial of their product and charge only $4.95 for shipping and handling. (Unfortunately, what I did not realize at the time of that call was that Angeletta had previously charged my account in February 2019 a total of $178.88 instead of the $4.95 as promised). I asked the representative to cancel. At the time of the call, I had not received the shipment I was charged for. The representative instructed me to return the product when I receive the package and in the meanwhile, she will issue a partial refund. She promised that when the products were returned, the rest of the refund will be credited to my account. She gave me two RAM numbers to write on the package when returning the product for easy identification. (RAM #,s are: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXXXXXXXX). Two refunds were issued to my account on March 18th, 2019, one for $31.11 and another for $31.46. On or around March 15th, the products were delivered and on March 16th, 2019, I returned the unopened package to the post office, clearly following the instructions to write the RAM#'s on the package. After two weeks from the date of postage, I assumed the package would have returned to Angeletta. However,I noticed that my account was not credited the balance of $116.20 and contacted Angeletta. I was informed that the product may not have been returned in their system and as soon as it is, the refund will be issued. On April 16th, I contacted Angeletta again and was informed that the 30 RAM return policy was reached and I am no longer eligible for a refund.
Angeletta now has the unopened returned product which they will resell for another $178.77 and my money which they refuse to refund

Desired Outcome

Dishonest business practices can put you out of business. It is most unfortunate that you pry on unsuspecting, hardworking citizens and you take their money under false advertising. You should not only refund the $116.20 as promised, but also for falsely claiming that I will only have to pay $4.95 for shipping and handling on the first charges in February of $178.77 for a total of $294.97.

Ok, First of all when the very first shipment of this eye cream I was only was to pay $ 1.99 for shipping and then only $6.95 for the trial shipment! Which was March shipment! Why would I agree to pay over $200 dollars for this eye cream!(NOT)! I called this company and called and canceled at the $6.95 for each! They charged my checking account without my permission without me knowing!! I finally got all of April's money back and that was the biggest mess! They credited my checking account then mailed the other check in mail when they found out I turned them in!! I am wanting my $200 dollars back for March!! They are the biggest scam on the internet I did not get it recorded that I called canceling my trial subscription before they charged me over $400 without me knowing this to my checking account!!

Dispute RESOLVED

Stating it is a free trial and charging without customer ordering.
Advertised free trial. Angeletta did not show details of automatic ordering and charges on their Ad. I was unaware that I would be automatically signed up for receiving the product and being charged. There was no information regarding the price of the product. 4/4 agreed upon shipping charge posted to bank account. Product arrived 4-5 days later. 4/20 charges of $88.88 & $89.89 posted to bank account. 4/20 I called my bank and they provided me the companies phone number. 4/20 @ noon I spoke to a representative and they told me I had 17 days wherein I could cancel. She told me that since the order had been place on 4/3 she could not cancel the $88 & $89 charges. Stated she could not transfer me to a supervisor when requested. Offered me a reduced price to be credited. Finally after much discourse she said the full price of $88 & $89 would be credited in 7-10 business days.

Desired Outcome

State all the terms boldly when advertising the "Free Trial".

I do agree that the company did refund the charges of $88.88 & $89.89. What is in question is the terms. The company's terms were not clearly stated at the beginning of the advertisement. All that was visible was that it was a FREE trial. The company is misleading the public.

Your account remains canceled and you will not receive any further shipments or charges.

I ordered an introductory trial of eyeserum and skincream. It wasn't stated that this order required me to participate in ongoing shipments.
After ordering a first trial of eyeserum and skincream, I was apparently enrolled in monthly shipments of these ridiculously expensive and ineffective products. I was billed $88.88 for the skincream on April 1, 2019 and 89.89 for the eyeserum on April 8, 2019. When I saw the charges I called the company and was told that I was automatically enrolled and needed to CALL to cancel in a timely fashion or they would be shipping. I was able to cancel future shipments but not get a refund of the two products that I have not yet received. There are numerous negative posts about this company on facebook. If I had read the reviews about their deceptive marketing practices I would not have tried the products.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of the $88.88 and $89.89 for the products that I did not ask for and do not want. I also want a return authorization emailed to me so so that I can return them when they arrive.

When I wrote my original complaint regarding Angeletta Skin I was told by the corporation that the 2 charges on my VISA credit card were for products that they had already shipped to me. I never received ANY additional products from this company after the first promotional order. They billed me on 4/1 $89.89 as jrcompr skincream and on 4/8 $88.88 as jrcompr eyeserum.

I definitely want these charges refunded.

Thank you for looking into this!

I have now received refunds for both charges and I am satisfied with the resolution.

I took advantage of trying revitalizing moisturizer as a Trial Basis, which was to be Free except for paying the S/H costs. I did so with my Debit Card Paid $4.97 & $4.94. ordered free trial. 2 months later, was billed $88 and $88 on credit card for recurring monthly product. Product autorenewed after 17 days of trial. When I called to cancel the almost $200 monthly recurring charge, I was told I would be given an RMA number to return the product and to call back in a few days. I would have to pay a $19 restocking fee and I would get back 35% of my refund!!! The other 65% would be returned in several weeks when the company received my return.
I returned the product with the RMA they provided over the phone. The phone number to call on the email confirmation of my cancellation did not work. The answering service said they did not service this product. (this was on the cancellation email: please feel free to contact our Customer Service team at [email protected] or 1-877-694-1843.)
I found another number to contact angelettaskin.com on their contact us page. That number worked since they figured I was a caller looking to buy
Product_Or_Service: Jan 2019

Desired Outcome

Refund I want a full refund. The product was not FDA approved, which I did not notice until I tried to return this product. I do NOT want to pay a restocking fee, just the refund of my credit card charge. Ready to cancel my credit card so they cannot try to hit up my card again next month although it says I cancelled. Terrible scam for others that don't know what to look out for. LESSON LEARNED

Thank you for your time.
The company has not issued a full refund and says that they charge all a restocking fee for returned goods for $20

I realize they will do this to all customers, but thought someone should be aware of unethical treatment of consumers.

I will consider this a live and learn experience, I just feel bad for the other consumers that buy a trial version then get slammed a recurring monthly fee of $118!

To Whom concerned. I saw on face book an ad for samples of the tv people Joana Gaines from flipping houses and has a new line of face creams I ordered off line for i3dollars include shipping. The samples came then about 1 and half week my visa debt card was bombarded with 88.88,but didn't ask for any real product of Angeletta which I never got or wanted.I found a number on my invoce packing slip of #877=886=5052. I just want my money back 88.88 The Visa debit card wouldn't make them pay just sent a new debit card and ended the old one. This is a lot of money as I am retired. This is terrible.
