I am rejecting this response because:I want the canopy fixed like we asked numerous times....

I sit here all day waiting everytime I was told they was coming and they didnt show several times. Even had a crew at my house lied to me and said he didn't have material to fix it and he he did. I talked to Gerald on phone while they were here and he heard how they were talking to me and he assured me it would be fixed and that is all we have wanted from the start

I know Ms. [redacted] has to be upset and I do sympathize. Please understand that the weather does play a large role in whether or not we are able to work. We called Ms. [redacted] over the weekend to reschedule, so that she could keep any appointments that she may have. The only reason for the reschedule, is due to the rain we are getting today, continuing through tomorrow. She is back on schedule for this Friday the 16th.Thank you,Chris D[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  They lied again.  They said they would be here yesterday or today, May 17, I've left messages and emails today and nobody is returning my calls.  Nobody has showed up to fix my garage.  Additionally,  here is the original email I wrote,  its not just the anchor bolts as you can see what I wrote in an email to Jeffrey on May 05. There were several problems that I had that I was not going to mention until now.1)   There were 3 delays before the garage was completed2)    The installers who came were told that this was gonna be on concrete slab.   They needed bricks, so I have to run around to the neighbors and get brick.3)    The installers were also told that there would be power, no one ever asked us if there was electricity at this site.  So I had to run around and go find gasoline for the installers generator (because they were not prepared)4)    The overhead garage doors are not aligned, they will not lock.      I do hope you get someone out there ASAP because this failed inspection is preventing us from moving our things in it.  We sold our house and need to store everything in there.

The customer will receive a call from scheduling, no later than 10/7/16. The actual repair will take place 3 days after the customer receives the call from scheduling.

Credit card fees from your bank are the cost of doing business, not a consumer problem. Those banking fees are also a tax deduction for the cost of doing business. No other company or business I have dealth with have never charged a credit card fee. As for your product this is the 3rd one we have bought from your company and never had this problem, I will never recommend friends or family to do business with your company. It's a shame that you will lose valuable consumers over this . We will not be doing any more business with Eagle Carports, [redacted]

The contractor Ramiro spoke to Mr. [redacted] on the scheduled date 2/5/18 to let him know that he would be arriving late in the afternoon. Mr. [redacted] told the contractor Ramiro that he was out of town and would not be available. Ramiro offered to come the next day 2/6/18 and Mr. [redacted] once again said...

that he would be out of town and not available and would need to be rescheduled to the next available date. Because the contractor did make an attempt to complete the repairs on the scheduled date, I would not be able to compensate Mr. [redacted]. The scheduling supervisor now has the job scheduled to go back out for next week (week of the 12th). If there are any further issues due to missed appointments, I will be more than happy to compensate Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] will be called for scheduling no later than Monday February 12th. I do apologize for any inconvenience due to the faulty roll up door. Thank you,Chris [redacted]

The customer is not telling the entire truth about how all of this came about. The order was sent in showing a 12' tall door to be installed on a 10' tall building. This application is simply not possible because the door is 2' taller than the building. We did explain to the customer that he...

(Brandon) could get a 10x10 roll up door that could be mounted at 10' high as long as the door was installed on the 28' wide end wall of the building. There is plenty of room on the gable end to allow the door to roll all the way up to 10'. Brandon refused to allow the contractor to install the door on the end, and instead insisted the 10' tall door be installed on the 10' tall 36' side wall. We did tell the customer that since the door was the same exact height as the side of the building, that he could only get around 9' clearance out of a 10' tall door due to having to have room above the door to actually mount the door itself. The customer initially understood and agreed to the 9' clearance. As the crew neared completion the customer then called in to the office and demanded that we take the building down and switch out the 10' height with an 11' height at no extra charge. I politely explained that this could have been addressed before the building was complete since he had agreed to the 9' clearance. Since the building was finished and he wanted a totally different size I explained that Eagle would cover any and all labor cost but he would have to revise his Rent To Own contract to show the 11' side height, which would be an additional $530. The customer then got very rude and irate telling me that we would make the changes at no additional charge or he would be making a complaint with the Revdex.com as well as contacting his attorney. I told him that the only options we had was to leave the building as is or for him to go back and revise the contract. He screamed at me telling me that he would make the building work but Eagle would pay for this as he hung up on me. Chris [redacted]

I spoke to Junior here at our office. He has sent me the photos that Mr. [redacted] sent to him. I agree that the doors are not closing as far down as they should. After reviewing the account, the contractor that came out to look at the garage was not the original contractor that installed the...

building. Any time there is repair, it is customary to send the original crew so that we can ensure the job is completed. Most contractors will not fix someone else mistake. I have spoke to the original contractor and he has agreed to come back out to make any and all necessary repairs to the building. Junior spoke directly with Mr. [redacted] this afternoon to make him aware that the original contractor will be coming back out. Scheduling will be in touch with Mr. [redacted] in the next 10-14 business days to set up an appointment. I am very sorry for the trouble in trying to get the job completed to the customers satisfaction. Thank you,Chris [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:It is a pretty big and apparently incorrect assumption that we have the same weather. A few hours distance can make a huge difference in weather, especially in the Carolinas with mountains one side and coast on the other. Our forecast has been no rain for Friday (our appointment day) since at least Tuesday and is still currently project as clear for Friday. The rain we have had has been light to heavy mist and I would not expect it to be an issue. Additionally our appointment was rescheduled on Wednesday which is pretty far out to cancel for a clear forecast. This has been the consistent trend of excuses (and inaccurate claims) and lack of dependability from Eagle. While we understand a reasonable amount of cancellations, We been patiently waiting to get a final product installed for more than a reasonable amount of time and been more than accommodating with reschedules. Our cancellations have even included no call/no shows. We eventually have to reach a point where we consider this product, as marketed and presented, as not being delivered and pursue our needs elsewhere. The final deadline is Tuesday and we can no longer continue what has been a very disruptive and lengthy process. This should not be an issue as we see a clear forecast all weekend and next week. We are expecting that if Eagle cannot make their appointment that they make special accommodations (come earlier, work weekends, etc.) to get the matter resolved. If this cannot be accomplished then they are expected to take responsibility of their inability to execute the order in a reasonable fashion. This should include and has now surpassed a reasonable amount of cancellations.On Tuesday evening, if we do not have our repairs made to satisfaction we will immediately purchase and schedule a similar product from another company. We will expect Eagle to accept that they were unable to complete the order and retrieve their property with in one week (7 days). We will accept no financial responsibility. Upon failure to retrieve their property we will move the building, without liability, off the placement site to make room for the new company to install their product and Eagle is welcome to come retrieve it. After that week, we will then have the building completely removed from our property.At this point, this is a final statement from us and all that we can offer to work in agreement with Eagle.

Mr. [redacted] is correct in saying that the contract had to be revised with the correct pricing. As of Feb 28th 2017 we had a price increase. The order was taken at the old pricing and sent in over a month after the increase. Mr. [redacted] is also correct in stating that his building has been rescheduled...

several times. I know the reschedules are frustrating to the customer, but the customer must understand that we have no control over the weather, which is the reason for the reschedules up until the call he received today to let him know that we had made a mistake due to the Memorial Day holiday and would have to move his job up to Wednesday. I am more than happy to give the discount so as that we can all move forward. I will also see that he gets his building on Wednesday with no more issues. A discount of $150 will be applied to the order. Thank you,Chris [redacted]

We have already spoke with Mr. [redacted] today on 2 separate occasions concerning the building and there were absolutely no issues until his wife called after the fact.  Mr. [redacted] is aware that the contractor will be coming by tomorrow 1/25/18 to install the missing screws in his corner braces....

Mr. [redacted] had already agreed to Eagle mailing him not only the missing screws but a check for his compensation. Thank you,Chris [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because this will be the second time for eagle to come out and fix the roof when they first put the roof on it leaked and the have fixed it once and it still leaks now the are coming back to fix a fix at what point do you say something is not right lets look into it or find something that works. Why would you keep doing the same thing knowing that the roof leaked from the first time the garage was up and again when it was so called fixed. Even if silicone is put on the roof that is only a band aid its not a permanent fix over time the weather will break down the silicone and the roof will leak again but when that come about the roof will be out of warranty I paid a lot of money for this garage and it should be done right not half cocked using the same set up that leaks.

I have  contacted the dealer which is triad carports in Lexington  nc......phone number..[redacted]..........they continue to tell me I have to get deposit from eagle carports......and that they have contacted eagle...and eagle told them I WOULD NOT get my refund back because I couldn't take delivery on a Friday......which.....no one ever told me that it would only be on a Friday......I made several attempts to take delivery ..Monday thru Thursday..........and the 1 Friday I stayed home from work.....which was oct. 23 .......eagle had made the appointment......eagle cancelled..............the deposit is 69.50...........it is not much....but I am on a fixed income and can not afford to give money away......

The job was completed on 5/18/17. The customer has been contacted via phone and email to confirm the customer is satisfied with no response from Ms. [redacted]. We did confirm with the installer that the job was completed. I am not sure why Ms. [redacted] still has any type of concern since the job is finished.

We are sorry that the appointment time was misinformed. Our installer installed your unit yesterday evening and you signed a paper saying you wanted to pay by credit card.
