Review: WHO are YOU? 30 dollars from my bank???

I think I used you a YEAR AGO and was charged 2 dollars for a video to make with pictures that didnt even work. NOW a year later you are taking 30 dollars from my bank account after I CANCELLED YOU???shema eon you. REFUND my money.I emailed you twice so you now can call me@!!!!Desired Settlement: I want my 30 dollars back now. shame on your company for taking debit card numbers after people cancel. I am a single mom.

Review: Back in August of 2014, I signed up for the "Animoto Pro, 1-month Subscription" to create a video for my wedding. I selected the professional account, so that I could have such features a higher quality of video and no Animoto logo. When signing up, there was no clear indication that the subscription automatically renews itself, nor did I receive an email notifying me that my subscription was being renewed and that my credit card was being billed. Even the user account page is deceiving. It states that "Your account expires on ...", but does not state that it will be automatically renewed. It also misleads you by saying "Don't let your subscription expire. Sign up for auto renewal so you can continue making videos, hassle free." The result was that I was mislead into paying for 17 months of service that I did not know I still had, nor wanted. That's 17 x 39 = $663, you could imagine my frustration when I noticed the charge on my recent credit card statement. I wonder how long Animoto would continue to bill me for services that went unused for over a year and a half? Please Animoto make this right, I enjoyed the wedding video that your site helped me create, but am so disappointed that your company functions this way. I know I am not the only victim that was deceived by your "1 month subscription".Desired Settlement: The financial reimbursement of $663 for the 17 months after the "Animoto Pro, 1-month Subscription" was to expire and for more honest pricing information on the website to prevent others from making this mistake.

Review: I setup an account to test the services. I was automatically singed up for a yearly plan and billed my bank card $250. When I saw the bill, I called immediately and after several attempts finally got an email response from them and they agreed to cancel and refund me the full amount. I was told the account was now canceled. I NEVER used their site after that because it left a bad taste in my mouth that they had such bad customer service. After several months, I received an email asking why I hadn't used the account in so long. I logged on an noticed that not only was the account still active, but they had signed me up for their most expensive monthly plan. I canceled initially because I am a school teacher on a budget but they claim I told them to sign me up for a monthly account. This is NOT TRUE.

$351 later I tried contacting them to cancel and it finally took about 5 attempts to get a response after threatening legal action. The first lady (Gloria) said she would simply refund me 2 months. I thought this was unfair since I never signed up for the service and have NEVER used it. She passed me on to a manager who would not give me his/her name. [redacted] said that it was my fault for signing up and not using the service. I tried explaining what happened. He asked what I would like to do. I finally suggested they keep $100 for providing me NO SERVICE and refund the rest. [redacted] stopped responding after that.Desired Settlement: Refund me the remaining amount!!!

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Animoto regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They refunded me 4 months out of 9 because they claim I singed up for the services. So even though I NEVER logged in to their site for the whole time they were charging me, they claim I should pay for services.The manager I communicated with refused to give me his name. He was very unprofessional and had no customer service skills. He basically called me a liar because he said I signed up for the service, even though they had records of me canceling when the problem initially started. I've read otehr complaints about this company and found that I am not the first to be taken advantage of in this manner. This company has a history of being deceptive in their charges and I hope someone else reads these comments so they don't make the same mistake I made in even login in to their site.

Review: Last year (June 2014) I changed my Animoto account to a "free plan" and was still charged $30 to my [redacted] Card.

I then disputed the charge and they refunded my [redacted]s.

Customer Service /HelpDesk said I was listed as a free/lite account with a $3 charge in 2009 and suggested that I might have a different email address associated with the account (which I don't).

Since my [redacted] was refunded I assumed the issue was resolved.

Unfortunately, One year (June 2015) later they charged me again - $30 charged to my [redacted] Card on June ** 2015.Desired Settlement: I want them to refund my $30 and to please DELETE MY [redacted] INFO FROM YOUR DATABASE! Please do not charge me ever again.

Review: I purchased a years subscription to Animoto for $119.88 on June **,2015 online using my debit card. I have contacted or tried to contact their customer service multiple times because I can not get the videos to post and work. The phone number on my billing statement leads to a website without the possibility of any human help or contact. My emails go unanswered and the services provider do not work properly. At first I just wanted help with the problem but now I would like a full refund give that my purchases ha sent been in effect for even 24 hours.Desired Settlement: I would like my purchase refunded as I feel this business is not user friendly and is not operating in good faith. If they really wanted to help people they would have a human contact person ( at least to answer emails) on board. You are automatically signed up for yearly renewal system but not told that and the original offer was a monthly payment plans of 9.99 month. That was not a choice once you get into the purchase process with no way to go back and enquire. I am a educator as well and that option was not offered until you have purchased the product.

As of at least two weeks ago the $100 refund was deducted from my Account by Animoto for the amount of $100.00 exactly. So the complete refund was awarded back to me after requesting this of the company numerous times via there text support team. I am very happy about the results ending in this fashion and would like to inform The Revdex.com to stop anymore action regarding my complaint. The issue has been completely resolved. Review: I created a "In Loving Memory" video for my grandmother's funeral which was on 12/**/2015. I created the video on 12/*/2015 and today 12/**/2015 ( a week later) customer service just sent me the link to the video. The company instruction should be clear. Stating how long a video will take to produce etc...and stop blaming their customers for error on their part.Desired Settlement: Refund $26.99

Review: I was charged in error for a second month of service that I did not request, authorize or want. They provided a misleading service with which I was entirely unsatisfied with. I contacted Animoto for a refund which they did not respond until 4 days later and simply did not address my concerns in any way.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund in the amount of $39.00 CAD which was charged in error for services that I am not satisfied with nor will be using and ultimately, did not authorize them to make.

Review: This company - Animoto - operates in the dark. You can't find a phone number, email address or street address. Even the phone number listed on your Credit Card statement goes to a Voicemail basically saying we don't talk to people.

My son used this service - at the suggestion of his 5th grade teacher - to work on a video project. It was supposed to be free, since he was a student. Instead, it was $29.99 for a month.

We paid that amount, he finished his project, cancelled the account so we wouldn't be charged the following month.

We weren't charged the following month. Six months later, we were charged. We're disputing the charge, since we can't contact the Company - Animoto - in any way.

You would be wise to steer clear of these fraudsters.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome would be the reversal of the two CC charges ($29.99 each) that we've suffered, and some kind of guarantee that we won't be charged ever again.

Review: Tried to upload the video that was created from this company's website, however it would not upload properly to the social website until I purchased a plan. Once I purchased a plan, the video still did not upload to the social website. I contacted the customer service group via email because there was no phone contact. The customer service group responded to me 6 days later. Their response was that they could not provide a refund because the video was created and once it is created, they must charge the customer. They suggested to me that they will assist me with uploading my video to the social website. I replied and indicated that it was too late and I no longer want their product because it was past the date that I initially wanted and I did not and could not use it. The video was intended for a birthday present to a family member.

It is unfair for me to pay for a product that I did not or could not use!!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full REFUND. I DO-NOT plan to use their services now or in the future!
