Regarding complaint: [redacted] On this issue, we were to remove a tree and plant a new tree in proximity to where the previous was removedThis is listed on the tree service invoice(invoices attached) The client did not pay for stump grinding which is a separate charge due to different machinery and labor neededUnfortunately, we can't plant where a stump is still in placeThe invoice clearly states proximity planting and "no stump grind" is noted on as well, lower on the invoiceAt this point, we have options here to complete this workPlant tree near where other tree was removed, but safely away from the stump that's still there (as per original agreements) or pay for stump grind (complete grind) so that new tree can be planted at exact location of previous one removedWe'll be glad to complete either option, but won't be issuing any compensation refund or additional discounts as we completed our portion of the work as agreedThanks in advance for your understanding on this matterJohn P***Moon Valley Nurseries

I see that you're in separate states and the difference being the CA attached to the end of the company nameHowever, through my research, I found that the AZ location is considered the parent (corporate, if you will) companyI'm through with dealing with the local entity, because there's proven to be no result; and unfortunately speaking, I, as the consumer do not see a distinctive separation between the two Moon Valley Nursery branchesNot to mention, the majority of the CA branches are either not registered with the Revdex.com or do not show up when I run a search for them on the Revdex.com website, hence defaulting the complaint to the parent officeIn all fairness to the AZ branch though, I will be willing to remove the complaint if (1) this matter is resolved in a timely manner, or (2) you can direct me to the correct CA corporate office Revdex.com link so I can continue to pursue thisThough I do find it facinating that the first reaction is to defer this to someone else because "it is their problem, not ours" instead of genuinely working towards a viable solutionIt's starting to come across like customer service throughout this company is one in the same and I'm beginning to see where it may all stem fromThe CA company has apparently given up responsibility to my issue some time ago, if the parent company won't take responsibility now, then who will?

Hi, Yes, Moon Valley has come out numerous time to repair the grassThe grass still has not been fixedThe issue started in and still continues todayIn July Moon Valley sent a work order to fix it and was not completeI even called Sal to let him know what was happeningJoe was sent over and agreed that there is an issueSending individuals over to fix and not done properly does not constitute a completed jobAs stated before, the issue was originally reported in and I continued to report the issue over and over through todayI have attached the last work order to show that they were planning on fixing but was not successfulI was told tons of sand was used to the attempt for fixingJoe said that was not enough and should be closer to 20-tons of sand. I know that I am repeating myself, however I want to make sure that the understanding of the issue was identified within the warranty period and still continues for yearsThe work order was semt by Sal and I signed and returned back to Moon Valley NurseryThis shows that the issue still existed in July.I am requesting that the case be reopened and identified as a complaint against the business until a remedy is identified

an arborist already came and looked at it and offered a discounted tree, I already paid for this tree plus for crane to bring it, could not get a response from Moon Valley when I complained immediately about it not looking so great and when we did get a response several months later we were told don't worry it will be fine just give it a year and it will fill outI feel moon valley purposely put off addressing this tree at our first complaint to make sure the warrant period expired and it took us practically begging to finally get someone to look at it, so honestly offering me a discounted tree is an unacceptable solution, I think I will just spend another bunch of money for another sick tree and they will just dance around it again

I don't know who MrP*** *s as I have never spoken to him, but he has clearly been misinformed by MV staffI never signed off that the job was complete as orderedAs previously stated, the problems began the first day of the job and have continued sinceI have spoken to many people at MV and have continuously received promises that were never keptSo I no longer care to speak to anyone at MV as they have made it clear that they cannot complete the job they promisedAt this point, I still have faulty irrigation that is leaking uncontrollably in some places and not at all in others, a tree with no irrigation, and damaged plants that were not replacedOf course I do not want MV to attempt to repair these problems as they have been to my house on multiple occasions and never get it rightThe last time they were at the house they promised to lay some lights for me to checkIf OK, they would THEN permanently install themThey never came the day they promised, but showed up days later when I was not home and permanently installed lights without my prior inspectionSo at this point I need to have someone competent to repair the entire irrigation system that MV installed improperly and replace the damaged plantsAs such, I would like a refund of $so that I can get this done

This complaint is filed in Arizona for a California business and should be removed from the Arizona files regarding Moon Valley Nurseries.  The business' has the same name but operates as a separate company in California. We will have our staff at our California companies looking into this,...
