I have no idea why they are saying it was struck by lightning except for an electrician whom did the original installation that has been the problem from the startThey have no proof of any lighting strikes to my house or any house in my neighborhoodThe company and electrician are boldly blaming an act of God on their own incompetenceThis was not the first time that electrician was called out on electrical problem with the pool system that eventually failedI guess those problems were an act of God also.

We have reached out the customer and are trying to resolve their issues. The final inspection has been rescheduled with their local jurisdiction on 8/13/14. The last failure (on 7/21/14) was due to the homeowner not being home when the inspector arrived (which is a requirement of their jurisdiction)

This K*** family business is spot on in terms of punctually showing up for a bid or work and being highly competitive in the remodel marketThey're ready to professionally work on a project, either outside or inside the homeThey don't oversell the project, but a great job no matter how big or smallSPetroni in Mesa AZ

I am now heading toward the 3rd closing of my pool and A&S has yet to fix my cover. I complained about it when it was installed and they did nothing, but said it was okay. When the pool was opened, it was full of leaves and the A&S openers told me that they would not clean it because I could not afford the time it would take them. I asked them to fix it again, but they were tied up with all of the other problems with my pool that they did nothing with the cover. They tried to resolve it with some gap cover product that their installers had never seen before and did not know what to do with. Everyone who had come out to my pool with the cover on had said the cover was not sized correctly. This year they finally agreed and after much pushing sent out a cover rep (delaying my opening). In early July they finally picked up the cover to have it corrected. I contacted them in early September and when they finally got back to me they told me that it was at the manufacture being built and would be back in two weeks. The 2 weeks came and went with no word from them so I contacted them again. I was then told that they would be out the end of October to test fit the cover. So I am having to keep my pool open for an extra 2 months because they forgot to send my cover to get it corrected in early July. This is just one of many issues I have had with this horrible company.

[redacted] informed us in November 2013 that he wished to cancel his pool project.  We refunded his deposit less actual costs incurred. We have since provided [redacted] with copies of the documents he requested, explaining the deductions.  We have also left him a message asking...

him to call us to discuss. We have not heard back from him as of yet. 
During this process, it came to our attention that the permit fee was incorrectly recorded in our internal records as $638 (vs. the actual fee of $538).  We are processing an additional refund to Mr.
Vassallo this week in the amount of $100.00 (which will bring the total refund to $1,782).  Attached is a copy of the correspondence sent to [redacted].

We chose Anthony and Sylvan to build our pool after considering other companies. They have a fantastic reputation and came highly recommended by several neighbors and friends. What we also felt was important- was that they handle every aspect of building the pool. They construct the pool, install the fencing, install the pool decking, and have a great service department and their own retail stores that carry the products they recommended specifically for your pool. Everyone has been so supportive and available to assist in any way. They have an amazing Warranty division headed by N[redacted] C[redacted]. N[redacted] has been supportive every step of the way along with his incredible associate L[redacted] H[redacted] They go above and beyond to address any issues you may have and will work endlessly until they find the right solutions. They define Custome Service and Loyalty. K[redacted] is one of their best techs along with T[redacted] S[redacted] who supervised our plaster work, and have just been great to deal with. What I would tell someone who was thinking about building a pool- is that Anthony and Sylvan stands by their work. They care about their customers and they understand this is one of the biggest investments a family will make and they do everything in their power to truly make this your private oasis.
The people in service have been so great to work with. From scheduling with D[redacted] A[redacted], and S[redacted]- they all work so hard to get your pool opened and closed on the dates that are convenient for the customer and have a tech out in a day if you have a specific service need. They treat you with such kindness and I have developed nice friendships over the years with these wonderful people. M[redacted] is the service manager, but he has also worked on our pool for several years. He knows the pool and the equipment inside and out. I trust him completely and I know he works hard to train his crew to be knowledgeable and dependable. He is such a great guy and always enjoy getting to see him.
The retail store in Montgomeryville I go to is a life saver. They test your water and give a computerized reading for free. Then they can tell you exactly what chemicals you need to balance your pool and the exact amounts. T[redacted]s the store manager and is so helpful and really cares about his customers. They all greet you with a big smile and you actually develop friendships because you are in there a couple of times a week. They make keeping your pool water balanced and beautiful a stress free chore! All of the retail workers have been so nice and knowledgeable. They also have a great loyalty program that provides discounts on supplies and chemicals.
To me- the most important factor in doing business with anyone is that they stand by their work. Especially when it is such a large investment. Anthony and Sylvan have been building pools a long time and their customer service is incredible. They never abandon you and can always be reached. We are so happy we chose them to build our pool and will have a very long relationship with them. It was definitely the RIGHT and the BEST choice of pool companies.
There are so many wonderful people that have helped us- but I am unable to recall all of the names. I appreciate them all. There are so many fantastic people that work very hard behind the scenes to make Anthony and Sylvan the number one pool company across the country.

We have received notification of the complaint. Customer has been contacted yesterday by several members of our staff. Our General Manager [redacted] has an appointment to meet with customer today (4/14) at 1:30 pm. Action plan for customer concerns will be discussed.
