Mr& Mrs [redacted] ,We have already taken steps to get this warranty cancelled for youWe needed your signature on the cancellation form and this was sent back to us on Friday May 29thIt has already been submitted to our cancellation department as of 11am on Tuesday June 2ndIt can take up to weeks before the funds post to your vehicle loanThank you

Mr [redacted] , I have read your concerns and have reviewed your file as well as questioned all parties involved in order to have a clear understanding of your concernsI was not privy to the conversation that your wife had with the finance manager and apparently neither were you so I will speculate as to what was or was not said, I will stick to the factsI have attached three documents all signed by your wife, Mrs [redacted] ***The first document fully discloses exactly what she is choosing to purchase, what her payment would be with those options and what it would be without those optionsThe Nissan Security Plus Service Contract states that it will "pay for part and labor on covered repairs." This document does not state that anything is bumper to bumperThe Nissan Security Plus vehicle service contract covers mechanical breakdowns that may occur during the selected time period of coverage, not just manufacturer defectsThe second document re-affirms her understanding of what options she is choosing to purchase and what options are being declinedThe third document is a delivery checklist signed by Mrs [redacted] stating that the information about the vehicle including what the factory warranty is (years,/36,miles), was explained to her The cancellation process can take 4-weeksThe funds will be credited to your account within the next few weeks

We had to escalate the issue for this particular customer because the product that they purchased is non-cancellableI now have approval to process the refund

The $12,is an internet special price. "Full price" for that vehicle stock# *** is $16,355.00. The advertised internet prices on all of our vehicles include all rebates and discounts, and is specifically stated on the website which I have included below. A portion of
these rebates is contigent upon financing with NMAC which was not available to you due to a combination of your credit history, and your desire to finance with your own lending institution. That is the reason for the increase from $12,to $13,which you state *** explained to you. As for the $1,in dealer added options, that is something also included on all of our vehicles. Im sure you can understand that with vehicles in inventory, we simply cannot get every vehicle tinted and through inspection processes etc every day. With that being said, the accessories you mentioned such as the window tint and wheel locks are billed to the unit when it arrives and are installed either ASAP or at the time of delivery. Therefore, we have to charge for those adds in order to recoup the costs of them on an already heavily discounted special price. Again, both of these things are clearly explained on our website www.townnorthnissan.com and I fail to see where any TX law was broken by *** or the dealership. Below is a screen shot of the website, and the exact vehicle you were interested in. If you would like, you also visit the website and search the stock number which again is ***. Scroll to the bottom of page and you will see the info I pasted below for your review. The 5th sentence is pertaining to the rebates, and the final line addresses the "dealer added options."*** *** SV Sedan Front-wheel Drive 11215MSRP:$16,355Savings:$3,456Sale Price:$12,899Available Savings*** *** Engine: 1.6L I-cyl, Transmission: Automatic, City MPG: 31/40, Exterior Color: Titanium, Stock #: ***, Drive Line: Front-wheel Drive, Fuel Type: Regular Unleaded View More…CompareCompare SelectedCompare SelectedDeselect AllPage of 1Town North Nissan Has the New Nissan Models You're Looking for in AustinAt Town North Nissan, the search for a new Nissan near the greater Round Rock, San Marcos, Killeen and Georgetown, TX areas is easyYou'll find a critically acclaimed selection of new Altima, Pathfinder, Rogue, Juke and Sentra vehicles ready to be test driven todayFeel free to peruse our inventoryYou can narrow down which model you're interested in, and even compare trim levels/features to see which specific one fits your needs.Ready to Take the Next Step?So is Town North Nissan, serving Round Rock, San Marcos, Killeen and Georgetown, TXSimply contact us today to arrange a test driveAfter you've had some fun behind the wheel, we can help you secure a car loan or Nissan lease and explain the long-term benefits of utilizing our on-site car service and maintenance department. All advertised vehicles are subject to actual dealer availabilityCertain vehicles listed may not be available, or may have different pricesPrices exclude state tax, license, document preparation fee, smog fee, and finance charges, if applicableVehicle option and pricing are subject to changePrices include all dealer rebates and dealer incentivesPricing and availability varies by dealershipPlease check with your dealer for more informationPrices do not include dealer charges, such as advertising, that can vary by manufacturer or region, or costs for selling, preparing, displaying or financing the vehicleImages displayed may not be representative of the actual trim level of a vehicleColors shown are the most accurate representations availableHowever, due to the limitations of web and monitor color display, we cannot guarantee that the colors depicted will exactly match the color of the carInformation provided is believed accurate but all specifications, pricing, and availability must be confirmed in writing (directly) with the dealer to be bindingNeither the Dealer nor Dealer.com is responsible for any inaccuracies contained herein and by using this application you the customer acknowledge the foregoing and accept such termsPrice does not include dealer added options

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: [redacted], The explanation that you've given to the Revdex.com is unsatisfactory and does not explain the actions of Town North Nissan or its employees.• There was no miscommunication on my part. Per the text that I have, the agreed upon price in writing was $24,000 and there is no mention anywhere of this being contingent upon my credit history or whether or not I finance through NMAC. In fact, I informed Town North Nissan that I would not even submit to a credit check without the price of $24,000 guaranteed in writing. No one forced Town North Nissan to agree to the price.• Prior to visiting Town North Nissan, I checked my credit score, so I know that it is good. Additionally, I did not have any credit challenges on my prior auto loan -- which was made 10 YEARS AGO. In fact, I got a great finance rate by going through an outside finance company instead of NMAC. My car has been paid off for five years and has a free and clear title, which you are well aware of. The car was paid off on time and each payment was made. So, what does this have to do with this current purchase? Absolutely nothing!!! I do not appreciate you or Town North or anyone associated with Nissan trying to smear my name or reputation or trying make the situation appear otherwise. This is a lie and an illegal bait and switch tacticdesigned to try to excuse the ruse that you put people through when they go to your dealership and which you used on me last week. • Furthermore, my credit history has nothing to do with the price of the vehicle. There is no connection between the two, no matter how much you try to make one. To be clear, the credit score only impacts the finance rate. As a purchaser I am not bound to NMAC's financing -- a rate you have yet to mention because more than likely it is higher than what other financial institutions are offering. I have the option of choosing with whom I want to finance my car, as I did 10 years ago. I will do what is best for me when it comes to financing, not what is best for Nissan or any other auto dealership. What is the finance rate you're offering me? What is the cost of your 100,000-mile warranty? What would my monthly payments be with and without the warranty for 60 months?  If you are not dishonest, then you will be willing to put it right in this response for the Revdex.com to see.Your dealership has taken more than three days of my time in a vain attempt to drain/wear me out so that I'll agree to something in your favor. This is the same practice that I have observed at every Nissan dealership that I've visited in the span of a week, (three, including Town North Nissan). I, and those with me, literally saw sales staff tell people they would go speak to their manager about pricing and then go stand in another room and talk to other salesmen. This tells me that the bait and switch tactic and disregard for the consumer is a common practice at Nissan and that your salesmen are trained in this way. You are taking advantage of people who may not know any better or may not feel they have any other options or a lot of money and you need to be held accountable for your sales tactics. I did not "feel"that my time was wasted. I know itwaswasted because I had other options at other dealerships who respected my busy work schedule and were willing to make the process as stress free as possible -- even delivering the car at my home or place of business if needed.  Either Town North, et al sells me the vehicle for the agreed upon price or not. If it is unwilling to honor the written agreement, then it needs to be held liable for bait and switch tactics and for obtaining my credit information under false pretenses. [redacted]Sent from my iPhone

Nissan motor company is working with the customer to replace the vehicle, the airbag light has been fixed.  Town North Nissan cannot 'replace' the vehicle because the loan arranged with the bank has been funded and the vehicle's taxes have been paid to the state.  We will gladly help the...

customer with communicating to Nissan Motor but we are not able to make the final decision to replace the vehicle because we are not the manufacturer of the vehicle.  The decision to replace the vehicle is ultimately up to Nissan Motor Company.

I am rejecting this response because:I have decided to pursue a different route regarding my car purchase. The lack off communication between your business associates is not my problem. The wording and attitude of your associates towards me due to my age were not appropriate. I will not give you my business, nor would Iet anyone else I know subject themselves to your business practices.

[redacted]- I have reviewed the paperwork that was presented at the time of your visit, as well as your statements to Revdex.com.  I believe that some miscommunications have taken place.  The reason that we could not necessarily guarantee you the $24,000 total price prior to reviewing your...

credit information is that some of the rebates and discounts needed to get to that aggressive of a price, are contingent upon you financing with NMAC.  In order to know if you qualify for NMAC financing we would need to review your credit file.  Upon your submission of the credit application we realized that you have encountered some credit challenges and slow payments on your prior auto loan.  These types of things tend to make approval more difficult and also result in higher finance charges.  We were hoping to be able to show you some payment options using both NMAC (if approved) as well as a lending institution other than NMAC which may have resulted in a lower monthly payment and overall expenditure for you.  I do apologize if these things were not explained properly by your sales consultant, or if you feel that time spent here was time wasted.  I would very much like the opportunity to earn your business, if there is a way to do so that makes financial sense for both parties.  The $1,000 trade allowance has not changed.  As for the $24,000 amount financed(after all rebates, discounts, and trade in,) I have no problem doing that for you provided that your loan is approved by NMAC.  We do not handle the Service contract portion in the sales department, however I can tell you on a deal as aggressive as 24k I will not be able to absorb and additional costs for products or service contracts.  If you would like to move forward with your purchase at an amount financed through NMAC of $24,000 please let me know.  I will make sure that my business office makes every attempt to arrange your financing with NMAC so that you may achieve the transaction you desire.Thank you,[redacted]New Car Sales Director[redacted]: Desk[redacted] :(email)

[redacted], First, I apologize for the lengthy delay in your refund. Nissan required proof of mileage to proceed with your cancellation and that was not relayed to us at a dealership level in a timely manner. Nissan has now proceeded and cancelled your warranty. Our accounting department is...

issuing the check to your lienholder today, so it should post to your account soon.  The amount of your refund is based off date and mileage at the time of cancellation. The date on the cancellation form you signed is 6/28/16 with mileage at 2000. Any further questions about the refund amount based on the date and mileage can be directed to Nissan. We simply input these factors and they determine the refund. Keep an eye on your statement over the next couple of weeks for your refund. Thank you,
